Miracast Player
Miracast Player is an application to support cast screen between Android devices. The device running this application will be a wifi display sink and can be connected by another Android device via "Cast Screen". Usage:1. Start the application on the 1st Android device. It will display a device name, e.g. "Sink-645A3E"2. On the 2nd Android device, click Settings->Display->Cast Screen (Wireless Display/AllShare/Share Cast/ScreenMirror)3. Wait until the name of the 1st device is displayed in the 2nd device4. Click the device name to connect.When connection is established, the two devices will have the same screen
Known issues:1. HDCP is not supported: some devices may enforce HDCP encryption when it is running as a wifi display source, then the device running this application can't display the screen content of the source device.2. Connection issue: sometimes the connection may not be established. Please try to turn off or turn on wifi or re-boot the devices3. Playback issue: sometimes the two devices are connected with messages like "connected by a source", and then get issues on the following playback (e.g. blackscreen), please enable "Don't use built-in player" or "Use built-in wifi display" if they are availbe

Those who rate 1 star please do more research on Miracast. This application is for sink device which means Miracast Receiver. Besides, I hope this application can be updated, it is working on my Android 6.0 TV Box, but unfortunately the mirror screening is not smooth.
Please please please add resolution and audio settings because it works slow on HD and Full HD streaming. Moreover playing audio on casting device freezes the app
This app no longer works with the Android 8. Below is the review I made when I was using an older version of android. This app is exactly what I've been looking for! I can project my windows 10 display or galaxy tablet display to my phone. It's funny to see my windows desktop displayed on my phone screen.
Displays my s5 on my nexus7 2012! Great. But I still have to figure out how to make the audio work... it's muted.

It's not working. Totally useless app. Just because I don't have SAMSUNG DEVICE?????? Plz tell me how to uninstall from my Android TV? Or another way to use.
Where is the setting
Does work for me. But if the display hardware isn't really fast, the lag and stutter, with low resolution and artifacts are severe on video and even on stills if you change them quick... then it drops the connection. Fast (quad core or so) androids for the display perform much better, nearly flawless even on video. But once I lose connection (overload or whatever), I can't reconnect without at least cycling the WIFI on the receiver android. And sometimes I have to connect and disconnect a different source android before the first will connect. It dearly needs some options from the player side, not the least of which would be a way to stop/unload the app without having to terminate it from SETTINGS'>APPS. A "try a clean start" would be nice too, if it is possible. Turning off the WIFI doesn't seem like the right way to reset an app. If the app itself could "shake off" the remains of a connection gone bad, it would connect fresh with less user hassle. There are similar apps from other developers that have more control and feedback on what's happening.
Screen turns black after trying to establish connection. Running on nvidia shield tablet on 5.1. Happy to provide logs if it will help

Less options than WifiDisplay Sink, but better performance. Touch support and you get 5 stars. This would be perfect to use my amazon fire tablet as a mirror in my car for my smartphone navigation
You tube video streamline from mobile to tv is quite bad.

Downloaded and tried to sync with a ZTE. Unable to get it to sync
Works brilliantly on Moto G 2014. Had to not use built-in display. I used it to connect to my Windows 8.1 laptop, worked flawlessly!
