Let me be the 1st after the newest update (4/19)At 1st I thought you finally got it right. But it soon disappointed me again. Won't connect. Just as everyone else has complained about. This is unacceptable. I waited 2 years to upgrade waiting for you to roll out a Bluetooth product. Get this sorted out! May 2nd. Apps is almost unusable. Hearing aid turn off by them selves. Wont reconnect to apps without numerous tries. Even then I just give up. Nothing around me to disrupt connection .
The hearing aid hardware is built by apple.I have a samsung. I am still not able to use them as headphones. I am only able to use the app to make adjustments to my hearing aids setting. This was a one star because the app did not work at all but since an update I now have the customization as we had on a different app. I would give five stars if the hearing aid could work with the phone without the app as if they were regular ear buds.
Won't stay connected to my phone. I have a Samsung and I'm having to uninstall the app and reinstall it all the time. Or I only hear on my phone out of one ear not both. Will work for a while then stop again. Please get the Bluetooth fixed so it works right.
I have an Android phone and so far everything works ok. The TV mode cuts in and out when I use the phone to text or something else. Other than that I like this app, makes it easier to control my hearing aids.
The help videos are impossible to view in portrait mode and the video doesn't rotate to landscape. The other functions seem to work as intended, but that one is very irritating.
Just got yearly clean and check now can not get both my hearing aids to connect to app making the streamer add impossible to use. The app will find the right hearing aids or the left. The second hearing aids disappears off the app when the first is dicovered.
Disappointed that the hearing ades do not work directly with my Samsung phone. Sometimes when I open the app to change a setting on the hearing ade it does not open, thus I can not adjust the sound level so I can hear what some one is saying.
Just like all the other reviews, constantly disconnect and then it will not find hearing aids again. Have to delete app and start over. Give it one more try to see how long it will stay connected ready to delete and forget. App only gives you 3 features that I can see 1. Battery percentage 2. Channel selection 3. Volume control, the daily use meter has no value.
App is terribly configured for use with android. For a while, I was able to pair my device with phone by restarting my phone and then it would see the hearing aid. No longer the case and has been unable to pair for 2 weeks now. When working - the app is fine enough. Not as much control as my Phonak and with the pairing issues for a month now - I'm starting to regret going with ME. ME office I go to is fantastic but the app issues mean the device loses a ton of marks.
Recently got latest genius model aids from ME. The ME location that I go to is excellent, best audiologist and receptionist. Going through the manual which seems lacking, mentions nothing about features. Found out from other reviews here, android compatibility WON'T allow for Bluetooth music Or phone functionality. Extremely disappointing given the pricing. I fully see now, Apple always finds a way to monopolize even the most basic of human things. Smh. That aside, hearing again rocks,thanks ME!
Even after the firmware update 5/17/2022 app still does not stay paired to phone. Only during install of the app is a pairing option available. I bought the most expensive hearing aides with the promise of the features of this app. Waste of time and money. Not happy with the miracle ear company or app.
This new app makes me use new batteries nearly every day, which is very expensive. It's also supposed to allow me to connect to a little device that broadcasts the tv sound directly to my hearing aids, but only manages to connect half the time. Maybe less than half. I had far less trouble with the old app.
WIll not connect to app daily after repeated attempts. Horrible app!! Update 1/1/22---APP STILL will not connect. Nothing on the app has improved connection. Customers deserve something better for the huge cost of the hearing aids. You just give the same phone number and canned answers that don't work! Next hearing aid won't be Miracle Ear. Uninstalled and reinstalled. Looked like a newer version, but still won't reconnect. Useless! ME Store updated app/ha STILL won't connect 3/4/22!!
I don't have an Apple phone so have to use an extra piece of hardware. Since the update I can no longer use my phone in Bluetooth mode and the instructions are of no help.
Was difficult to connect app to my hearing aids when I got home ...I finally got it yahhoooo. I loved Kelsie in the flower mill shopping center in pa she showed me everything thing I was missing she paired the hearing aids to what I would need . I heard no static no strange noise just what I'm missing. I am not gonna lie was a bit up there in price but in the long run will be worth today I heard conversations without saying huh.. thank you ..thank you ...THANK YOU
The app never seems to connect on the first attempt. I have to click "reconnect". After that it works. Is it one ear-piece first, then the other? I understand that the iPhone app can play audio from the phone, which would be nice.
Constantly losing connection. Pain in the butt. Someone needs to fix this program. I had regen for my old aids and was much better than this one. For what these aids cost me, should have a much better app than this.
With each update the app gets worse. What used to be a very good app has become very poor. There is not even a way to see your wear statistics any more. Please don't release any more updates!
I am able to hear and enjoy movies because the sounds and dialogue are directed to my hearing aids rather than a speaker.
This app is TERRIBLE!! Almost daily I have to uninstall and reinstall the app to get it to work for a day or two if I'm lucky. I'd rather have the old one back. It worked much better.
I love my new aids. I had a problem TV so a TV app was added to my phone. Problem solved! I will never buy anywhere else.
For the most part they work great. My only gripe is with the Bluetooth. Keeps dropping off one ear. Not consistent. One day it's the right. Then the left. Will address it at my next appointment.
The best hearing aid to date that I have had. High quality, always ready sfter cgarge. Cleans easily. I would recommend this hearing aid to anybody, thumbs up. A marvelous improvement over earlier devices.
Please fix pairing ASAP. Since the upgrade on Jan 25, I can no longer pair my hearing aid with my phone via Bluetooth. Very inconvenient as I use for TV remote, normal and noisy environment. I have an Android and pairing used to work perfectly.
The up date on 1-25-22 has a definite problem for ALOT of people. Miracle ear spent well over an hour on the phone with your tech support and still can't get them to connect to any phones or devices. The company said they will have to contact app development company (which is out of Italy) to try to figure where the app up date went wrong. It was a bad up date, and now we're stuck with devices we can't hear with until this app update is fixed.
It's now been three weeks since you released an update that affected countless people being able to connect. There are people here saying they can't connect. We went to the office and confirmed with them we can't connect. They reported it to tech support and tech support confirmed it's a known issue. You're still on here telling people there's no issues and to call tech support. GET WITH IT
Sorry, but your app is terrible, always losing connection. Please get it working the way it should. Always having to reconnect several times a day, and then not able to for a long period of time.
Not able to watch video of bass and treble adjust Keep getting error message.
It would be nice if the bass and treble could be adjusted seperately...
I am very disappointed in this app and my hearing aids! When I got the aids I was not told until after I bought these that the app does not work well with android phones and that you don't get all the uses with it, ie: connection to phone calls, TV, and such. I did download the app and had gotten the ability to change the tone and volume and I was able to get the directional controls for noisy environment but with the updated app I am down to just tone and volume. I am more than disappointed!
