Set Growing Schedule
The Miracle-Gro Twelve App is designed to help make growing indoors easy. Begin growing your plants by setting a growing schedule in the Miracle-Gro Twelve App. First choose to start from seed, seedling or a young plant. Then select the varieties you’d like to grow. The Miracle-Gro Twelve App comes preloaded with feeding and harvesting information for more than twenty different varieties of herbs, leafy greens and flowers. When in range get push notifications when it’s time to feed your plants, add more water and finally when it’s time to harvest.
Control Light Mode
The Miracle-Gro Twelve Indoor Growing System comes with a 60W, cool-spectrum LED grow light with three different levels of light. Grow, a bright light for growing plants. Low, a dim light, not for growing. Off, no light. Easily change the mode of your light through the Miracle-Gro Twelve App to override your normal grow schedule. When you override your grow schedule, a timer will start so your normal schedule resumes automatically after 60 minutes.
Monitor Water Level
When growing in a water-base system like the Miracle-Gro Twelve Indoor Growing System, it’s important to make sure your plants have adequate water at all times. When in range of your system, get push notifications on your smart device through the Miracle-Gro Twelve App to remind you when it’s time to add water.
Calendar
The Miracle-Gro Twelve App keeps track of all your important growing dates for your through the calendar. When in range get push notifications on your smart device when it’s time to feed your plants, add more water and finally when it’s time to start harvesting.

Not the best App. 1st planting was awesome. It reminds me of water level and when to feed. Love my hydroponic but after 1st harvest is done, replanting new plants, it will not delete original plants i started with no matter how many times i have tried deleting the Fing thing! Reminders have now become useless. 11/10/20 UPDATE: It has been over a year and Miracle Gro has done nothing to solve this problem!!! They said they fixed it, they didn't fix a thing! Changing my 3* down to 1*!
This app is the perfect companion to the growing system. Its very user friendly. It guides you through the whole set up process, connects to your growing device through bluetooth and lets you know when the planter needs more water and you can adjust the automated times for the growing light to turn on and off. It makes the whole growing process brainless.
It's impossible to use this app. Sadly, even the company (Miracle-Gro) knows it too. After reaching out to them several times about issues with the app THEY suggested that I use a calendar app rather than their own app. Just sayin. Not worth your frustration of trying to sync this app to your system.
Utter junk. I tried to sign up and got an error about unexpected token < blah blah. Then I tried again and it said my email was already in use. So I tried to log in and got the error message again! Uninstalling this within 5 minutes of download because it does not work at all.
App is currently completely broken and does not work. It has worked fine but now you cannot reset your plants, half the buttons no longer work and you cant load up the schedule at all.
Fantastic hydroponic system, terrible app. It tells you to input the plants you have planted, but it never saves them. After 4 days of putting in all the information over and over again I finally gave up. Every time I open the app it makes me go through the terms and conditions, and makes me log in.
Update:5/27/21 Down to 1 star. The update has broken communications between the phone and units. This company must have the worst possible coders in the entire galaxy. My most regretful purchase was this unit. Update:1/12/21 I guess I was lucky in the beginning. Cloud sync bug still present and can't end plant life cycle. Works well. Previous bugs have been resolved. Image upload for non standard plants would make a nice addition.
Worked better 2 years ago. Initially it worked well on a schedule. The app will not delete/end the life cycle of plants and the unit is constantly blinking with low water level, no matter how full it is.
The app disconnects all the time. You cannot change or remove plants. Once you input a plant it's in there forever even if you plant something else.
This app is so glitchy. It keeps logging me out and deleting all of my plants. Ever time the app updates it deletes all of my current plants and goes back to the first ones from when I bought it 2 years ago, rendering the app totally useless.
Every time I open the app and log in, it makes me agree to terms & conditions and then go through the setup process and enter my plant info all over again. It does not remember anything so what's the point?
This app really needs love from its developers. It fails constantly, makes me log in every use, and doesn't save my information. It doesn't connect to the device consistently.
The app has been repaired and is working beautifully, as it should. The device history is gone, but as long as the app is working, I can start over and go on from here.
Awful app. It's supposed to keep track of things. However it never remembers the events you enter. I fed my plants 9 days ago. Everyday I say I fed them. Still says not fed. I planted a new plant. Entered that twice. Doesn't remember it at all. Useless app.
This app is such hot garbage. Won't save custom plants. Flaky connection to system. It's just not useful at all for really monitoring the growth and maintenance.
Hey Miracle Gro, unlock the 14 hours of light to be a manual schedule. Not everything needs that much light, huge pain to manually override every day because you didn't pay your developers for an extra few hours of work to make the timing customizable. Get back to work.
It doesn't work. At all. Tried contacting the developers but no answer. A lot of people bought the table that goes with the app. The table is now nearly unusable. Someone should start a lawsuit.
I'd say Zero stars. I have two systems, one won't even come up on the app now. I have to repeatedly back out of the app to go back to a previous screen.
I can't get into this app to use it. It's terrible. The price of the unit and it doesn't work on its own without this unusable app. Zero stars if possible. I tried on apple and Android.
Like others have said, the system is great, app sucks. I can't delete old plants and add new ones. Other features would be nice, too. Like uploading photos
They should just disable cloud syncing since it never works and just allow us to save the date locally so we don't need to keep adding devices from cloud since failures.
Disaster. App makes the device almost unussble. Have to keep logging in, bluetooth connection is unrrliable, limited control of device.
The only thing I don't like is the app does not keep the changes that you make. You delete plants and go back in and there they are again
App will not log in. Uninstall/reinstall, tried creating a new account, always says "server error." Hey devs, try restarting the server!
Please. Update the app. Especially given how much you are marketing the garden units you NEED TO UPDATE THE APP so that we can actually maximize our experience with the gardens.
Limited funtionality, no way to create a custom light schedule. Default 14 hours on high burns our lettuce leaves and we cannot schedule lower light or less time. Please give the ability to override the default and create a custom schedule.
Constant crashes, disconnecting from bluetooth, unable to edit light schedule
Every few days if my cell phone isn't around the on time is reset to default with no base. Please tell me how to or fix this product
Great hydroponic system, horrid app. App doesn't save input data at all.
We have two of these systems and we are generally happy with the hardware. But the app is extremely frustrating! I am not able to delete my plants and start over. The app repeatedly indicates a firmware update is needed. I press OK and it gives me an error message. It forces you into a 14 hour light cycle for which you are only able to change the start time.
