Mirai Nikki

It's a great and funny app and I really like it .. but I gave it 4 because there's a little options in it .. it'll be more fun than now if there's any of it .. like sort of the notes by old or new or ABC, or change colour of notes .. other thing, when I left the app on the background and turn off the phone, when I turn it on the app don't ask the password .. I want you to fix this too if you can .... Thanks once again and sorry for my bad grammar.

I love this app for its simple, intuitive design and precise timestamps. I use it all the time. There's just one problem: whenever I try to back my entries up, it gets stuck on a perpetual loading screen just as Caitlyn Liew described in their review. I hope this gets fixed because I'm afraid of losing all the entries I've written over the months.

Edit: Wish they'd update the journal entries instead of focusing all on the chat... Updates are scarce enough as it is. Good app for keeping a journal, but I shouldn't have to scroll all the way down when I create a new entry. Also, my keyboard hides part of the entry if it gets long. Wish predicting the future had more variety. Couldn't care less about other features.

I think that the app is pretty good. It doesn't glitch or anything and works overall. I would have to agree with many of the other ratings on here that the futures get repetitive and could be a little more creative. Also, a happy end would be nice. The opening is pretty cool though, adds a creepiness to it.

It is awful in it's main functions. 1) New diary pages are being created on the bottom of the list. At start it is not a problem at all but then you will scroll down for a thousand years. 2) When you write too much text on page it then types behind your keyboard so you can't see what do you write right now. 3) Date stamp is not the same as one that shown in the Mirai Nikki. It must be like "01/17 01:32". 4) I can't upload a copy of my diary on the server. Guess this app is abandoned.

It's a good idea, and I'll keep it installed. But, there it does need to be updated desperately. I've had this two days and my data is already corrupted. The 'predict the future' feature needs more variations. You should have the option to change your username on public. The quality of it's appearance does need updating to look more sleek. I think it would be a good idea to have the option for push notifications to remind you when to write a new entry. This is a good idea and should be kept too.

I personally think this app is great, but it has a lot of room for improvement. The app itself isn't mostly about the anime "Mirai Nikki" or "Future Diary" (based on the online chat). One thing that needs improvement is the device compatibility. There are devices that are "too old" and cant work with it which is understandable, but its only for android. This app has been here for a while with very scarce updates that don't have much. In the next update I hope for iPhone or ios compatibility. Other things that would be an improvement (for the global chat) - Profile picture changer - Un-Friending - Add a "jump to bottom" option in the chat - An alias changer I have other ideas but they're not as important I tried my best to make this review as helpful as relatively possible.

Great concept but the developer does have some polishing to do. I would love to see the map function work. The diary writing could use some additional features as well. Finally I don't know if the public chat is working or not. I haven't got any replies.

Great but the only thing that makes me so annoyed is the "Check Diary Data" and it tells me that it's curropted but then it rearranges my entries not by date. I don't know if this is a feature but I don't like it.

I love it, but it would be nice to have notifications. Because when using the online version (Friends chat etc) you dont get a notification when a friend or someone texts you. So when someone accepts your request, or if a friend texts you, it would be nice to get a notification.

Updated July 21, 2019: Latest update fixed chat for me and i can login now. :) Anyway, i like the randomized text when you "see" into the future, but there's not much variety though. Also, I can't restore my diary from Google. I didnt really write anything so not a big deal for me, but still a problem that coyld be fixed. Still happy about chatting now though.

great fun. just like the show, it does however really drastically need a google sync feature or a feature where u can save diary entries as pdf or into your documents as i changed phones and realized i lost all my entries and dreams. please dev add a feature like that and my life will be complete

This is a good app. Great for keeping a journal, the see the future part doesnt really do a lot... But the only real problem i have is that it keeps saying it cant connect to the server so no global chat or online back up. It might be on my side since im trying to use a mcdonalds internet but If i can get it to work then 5 stars lol

Its great for role-playing and writing actual diaries but after I had written a lot of pages of entries it deleted everything! Then I went to diary data it said my dairy might be corrupted and I needed to fix it I don't know how to do that and the app after that wouldn't let me add a new page even when I restarted my device or restarted to app.

I love this app but I have a question though. How many diary entries can we back up online? Is there like a limit? I had like 402 pages (XD I had written them for like three years sorry haha) but only half were saved. I would really like to save all my entries. They're precious memories to me and my phone is about to go bye bye.

I use this there's quite some time, but I still have some trouble with the backup as after selecting an account, it doesn't stop loading, by now I've waited 10 minutes and it still loading. I really don't wanna lose my entries.

I'm having mixed emotions about this app. Right off the bat, I thought it was gonna be something really cool. But as soon as I logged onto the public chat, I instantly regretted downloading it. There's way too many little kids doing their weird anime role play and it made me very uncomfortable. Other than that, I think the diary feature is very cool. I love the type of eery vibe you get as soon as you open the app too. It feels as if I've gotten ahold of some sort of hacked phone or something.

I used this app for awhile and liked it, but after getting a new phone i realized none of my prior entries were saved :( So they're gone forever. So unfortunately I'm switching to something else that can back up my journals and that i can have access to across devices.

Last year I had a lot of fun on this app. It helped me when I was lonely and there was so much fun roleplay. But, now it's almost completely empty. I don't like the update with chat rooms. I liked it when there was a big group! I could open the app after several months and see familiar names. Not anymore. :( Please let it be its usual self. I don't like this..

i absolutely love this app. i wanted to make a diary for a long time cuz i forget really badly, but didn't want the ordinary ones. this is truly a magnificent app. and i wanted to ask, by any chance, will the map thingy work sometime? i know theres a lot of legal stuff about privacy and what not, but if it does it will be really interesting if theres a diary owner in my country.

I like this app very much,and I use it like a diary.But I have a suggestion:When you start the game,you could add a feature where we can choose our type of Nikki(yukki nikki,escape nikki,etc...)and you can change it later. That would be a chance to experience a variety of futures.

It's a nice app, although I haven't watched Mirai Nikki yet. It would be nice if you could add more features in personalizing you profile like profile picture (I don't know if you could change it but it would be great if you could).

It's stuck at the loading screen when i try to recover my data and if i do recover my data my most recent entries aren't saved. I remember having almot 200 pages and backing them up but when I recovered the data only 190 of them are left

Good App! Love the personal diary entries, though they do corrupt often. It would be really nice if you could save the predicted futures!
