Super slow loading. No other app loads this slow. It's ok to check balances and do a quick transfer but that's about it. Its VERY slow. Still 99% better than online which mfcu IT still blames user, EVERY single time, so customer service app wise is not really important to them. See what I mean?

Frustrating trying to deposit checks. Sometimes works ok, often fails. I have been trying to deposit a small check for three days and it hasn't succeeded. Have used many different backgrounds, flash on/off, nothing works. It's a regular check I deposit every other week so I'm very familiar with the process. Flaw in the app.

The banking part of the app works just fine. The problem I'm having, however, is with Zelle. If I get the Zelle app it redirects me to my banking app automatically, which says that Zelle is set up and ready to use. Every time I try to transact with Zelle, however, it prompts me to finish setting up Zelle and doesn't recognize that it is already supposedly functional through my banking app.

Couple of bugs in V5.8.9. Making a deposit there is no "." In the keypad so how do you enter cents. Also requires a memo entry (suppose to be optional) before you can continue. I pasted the deposit amount from the clipboard to get around the first bug.

Won't install the update unless I remove other apps from my phone! Now I can't access my accounts to pay bills or money transfers for credit card payments. This is B$! BTW - What makes you think I want to see more ads?! It just slows down my ability to do what I need. One month later, it's Pi Day (3.14). I called MFCU and they suggested uninstalling the old app then download / install the new one. I did that however, the new app won't complete the installation process. I'm dead in the water!

This company has since reached out to me after basically closing my account. I still have to recommend, if you see this company "CREATE" perfect scenarios to negatively impact your credit, sever ties as soon as you can the bank will not stop but only get worse. I deleted & canceled a debit card only to find a month later the card was used which was over draft protected by my CC the transaction "could not be stopped" it boosted my CC usage way up knocking my score down once again by Mission Fed

There are 3 problems with the design of this app: 1. The app loads quickly, but then you are locked out for several minutes while waiting for the ads. The adserver is overwhelmed and the ads should load from the same server that the app loads from. 2. The personal information is hidden under "settings" where no one would look. It should be in accounts. 3. There is no way to print or download your account statements. What I do most on this app is check my balance and it works great for that. 😎👍

Aweful upgrade. They took away the spreadsheet view where you can see all of your billers at once. Now you have to guess and remember everything Current Layout is now useless and completely stupid. Called in to customer service and they said that it is just the way it is now.

I recently got a new phone, and the app asks me to get a code that will be sent in a text to my phone number. It never sends the text. So I have to use my old phone to access my accounts. Unless there is a fix. The app itself is good, I just can't access it now. :(

Difficult to navigate. The old app was much easier to read and provided more information on a single page opposed to having to go back and forth from screen to screen. Not a huge fan of the logos on the side, slows the loading of the information. I am on a Galaxy S 10+ and it is still slow. Mission Fed should have given the option to go to the new app or stay with the old app. One can only hope. Companies rarely go back after investing $$$.

*Updated Review* The app is good though it's missing a couple things. The floating action button that used to be in the bottom right is now gone. It gave me with access to things like transfers and bill pay. Secondly, the back gesture to back up into previous screens or to give quick access to log out of the app are gone. Now the only way to access these features are to use the hamburger menu. I'm confused as to why the action button were taken out and the back gesture is not supported.

In line with 1-3 🌟 reviews, let's go back to the old app. Where do i sign the petition? Seriously, the old app was easy to navigate, fast, and had most useful information on one page. This new app is slow, not as intuitive, and is causing havoc with my patience. It may be isolated to my phone (newer) but after logging out of the app, I simply cannot "back" to the home screen. I have to close all active app windows first. This adds more touch screen inputs to app navigation. -long time user.

The new red color theme is maddening! Way too much red everywhere, reminds me of shopping at Target. I miss the old layout where I could easily back out of the app and it would close automatically. I expected better from my bank. Who the hell approved this garbage 😠? The UI is still horrible like windows 8, incomplete and riddled with bugs. Fingerprint doesn't always load or the app loads but is blank with a red background. Unreliable and crappy. the old app worked perfectly. Unresolved app.

Major step backwards - prefer the previous app since it was simpler to use and more user friendly. Definite lack of user testing. Interface is no longer intuitive. Ads are annoying. App doesn't let you back out of it. Quick selection which allowed you to go straight to mobile deposit was removed forcing one to go through menu items. The app is significantly slower on the same device.

Brand new account, just refinanced 2 vehicles with them, was thrilled with the whole experience. However, this app is junk. It worked the first 3 times I logged in, but for the entire last week it just hangs at the login screen, so no more mobile access to my accounts even after deleting and reinstalling the app. Super annoying, transferring back to Wells Fargo so I can access my accounts via a mobile app again.

App is ill-conceived, missing many opportunities to be convenient (just like their call center issues). I was about to leave and they convinced me to stay. I don't know what they think when they make changes like this - inconveniencing their customers. I can say this, they alienate me more and more every step along the way. Case in point: I have to re-enter every single account number again on the app updates! This is a massive PITA. When my CDs expire, I will remember this and everything else

This app is really terrible. The old format was clean and fast. Since changing over to the current format I've been frustrated. It's VERY slow! Takes forever to open, constantly glitches, many error notices, closes out in the middle of bill pay.... I often have to "wait until later and try again" when attempting to use bill pay. Really miss the old format!

01/05/20 - update Logged in today and app is working much faster! Once in a while I noticed the credit card balance is wrong when transferring my payment from savings to the cc. After I finish, it's correct. Just seems to be off in the transfer screen. Not a big deal. Need to get used to the Overall Balance. Still can't do my external transfer through app yet. MFCU is the best! 12/26/19 Update is SLOW.... Been using the app for years and has been great.

Go back to the old app. This one is a serious downgrade. Its so slow. I frequently have to force close it and re-open it just to log in. Pay attention to your reviews. Im considering switching to another credit union that gives me easier access to my information. Ive spent the last 10 mins just trying to log in this morning to no avail. It just sits there with the spinning loading indicator. Youre going to lose a customer.

Absolutely will not adjust focus to take picture of the back of the check for mobile deposit. Not on black surface, brown, blue, green or any surface. Front check capture works fine. Rear check capture goes through focus, then stops out of focus and will not adjust focus after; no matter what. Beating the check with your phone does not work. Going really high puts it in focus, but getting closer puts it back out. I tried for 20 minutes to get this to work without success. Awful!!

Update: App has had several updates and seems much improved. The app actually does all the functions in app instead of opening up a web style interface. Runs much more smoothly. Overall very good change from the initial app. Cons: Ads are larger Still says total deposit which makes me wonder when I deposited. Can't change the order in which accounts are displayed

This app is an overall downgrade from the previous one. UX has almost completely left the building here. Mobile deposit's "auto-capture" is maybe the worst decision, took 10 minutes to deposit one check. Had two checks fail to deposit one right after the other and i had to redo the whole process twice for each one. Just let me take my picture so i can stop using the app already. The box where you choose your account on the mobile deposit screen looks like a header and not a button, please fix.

Mobile app is terrible. I've tried everything. Uninstall, and reinstall, restart my phone, turn the WiFi on, turn it off, reboot my router. Keeps saying I don't have an internet connection, yet every other app on my phone works and I have excellent signal strength. Once in awhile is works, yet takes forever. When I do use it, it freezes and I have to force stop the app. Can't believe how overwhelmingly useless this is.

Update: Orininal Comment: I prefer the old app. This new app is very slow, and every once in awhile, my mobile deposits fail. Once a photo is taken of the check, the app restarts itself. Not convenient. Not sure if it's worth 2 stars. New Comment (2/25/20): I called the customer service number and they had no idea how to address this. They suggested I send an email. I uninstalled the app again, and this time restarted my phone before reinstalling the app. Mobile deposits are now working.

Too many clicks to get CC available balance. Used to be on main Accounts now it takes 3 clicks to see the same info. And what happened to the transfer button on the lower right side of the main page? You realize this is a mobile app no one wants to go to a menu dropdown, scroll & click. Can u pls simplify and bring back all the easy to use features of the old mobile app? DOWNGRADE!

I've been with mission fed just around 2 months now. This app is simply dreadful. From the get go it has been extremely slow and to get any kind of functionality out of it I have to clear the apps cache prior to EVERY launch. Despite doing so any time I open it, type in my password change accounts or attempt to access pretty much any of its functions I get a teal loading graphic for anywhere between 5 to 20 seconds. Often the screen will turn dark grey and I'll have to exit and start over.

For years it has worked very well for me. All of a sudden, Saturday I go to try to use the app, and it tells me to try again I'm not connected to wifi. However, I am. Finally had to go through the web to log in. I uninstalled the app thinking that might fix my issue, now I can't reinstall because I don't have enough space on my phone. smh

been with them for over 30 years. there has been some erosion of service over the years; they used to have 24 hour support but they don't anymore. they also refuse to locate in predominantly minority neighborhoods, but then most banks don't. but they have been for the most part good for me, and I'm happy with that.

my phone broke so I couldn't check through the app. so I went to log on with a computer they wanted to send me a code to my phone.... there is also no way of getting to other savings account you may have through atms.

The Credit Union is GREAT!!! The app nearly caused me to lose my account. (By locking me out, etc). Love my banking experiences, but hate this app.
