Used to be able to update my policy in the app which was the primary reason we even went for Miway at the time. Now we can't do that and are forced to talk to a consultant and it takes aaaaages to get it done. Hate it. Strongly considering moving away from Miway.
Self inspection feature now rectified thank you! Even more frustrating now is that unlike before, one could get a self help quote online, via the web. Now not available there or on the app. Why not, surely this is far cheaper and easier for existing clients rather than calling in to make amendments?
I have the app and I am an existing miway client, the app always say i don't have a profile, the biggest problem is that my second car need an inspection which have to be done via app. This simply means that my second car is not covered.
The App is horrible. It keeps saying my password is incorrect, then when I try to reset my password it says I don't have a miway account....... so so frustrating.
Not happy with this new version. There's no request call back option. In the older version you would be connected to an agent on the online chat almost instantly. There's no option to view previous payments made. I'm not sure how easy making a claim would be if you can't easily make a query on the App. Big thumbs down from me!!
Absolutely useless. Been with them a year and it won't allow me to open a claim. Won't let me register. Doesn't recognize my ID.....what's the point?
Useless app, can only view policy not make any changes, and chat keeps disconnecting so you cant make changes that way also
Awful 😣 The gentleman assisting with the quote and ensuring all information was collected correctly was awesome. He mentioned a self inspection on both cars insures and I was like 💯% so convenient.... However, I have now downloaded the app and cannot seem to find the self inspection option. Please can a respresentative contact, perhaps this is my fault entirely and need some guidance in locating this option.
Hi, not sure what's going on but after I updated my app it logged me out. Nothing goes through. When I opt to reset my password it says I don't have a profile, when I register it says I already have a profile. What do I do because it's urgent, I need to update my address!
The self inspection app does not work. After following the instructions of taking photo's of the vehicle and entering the odometer reading then clicking the "SUBMIT" tab it does absolutely nothing other than revert me back to the first step, which now reflects in red text stating I need to take photo's first before submitting. Fourth day attempting and still not functioning.
Not very happy right now. Downloaded the app. Upon registration I was told we do not have a MiWay acc after being with them for more than 3 years. To top it all MiWay is aware of the issue but have yet to fix it.
I am suppose to login to do my self inspection to activate cover, but I can't even login. constantly says temporarily unavailable for the last 2 days. Not sure reason for this app
If I could give this app a zero, I would. For now I will give it a negative one. When I log in it says, Error! You do not have a MiWay profile. Register a profile. When Register, It says Error! It seems that you already have a registered profile with us. Simply log in to access your profile. Even the questions ask when rating is dumb. Whoever Miway contracted to develope this app, should return the payment. Maybe we will pay a little less in premiums then.............
The app does not have a Wedrive booking option or a search functionality. On Miway's website and policies it states that a Wedrive ride can be booked via the app.
After I installed the MiWay App, I noticed my phones battery life started depleting at a much faster rate than ever before. I had a look at my Optimisation Setting and MiWay APP at the top of the list for battery consumption! I don't want to use the app, and might just cancel my policy as a result of this.
App was good before. Now I can't login it always says I don't have account I must register. When I try to register it says it seems like I already have account try to login but still I can't login
This app 👎 Uploaded the app, tried to register, it gave an Error message "Opps it seems like you already have a profile with miway"... although i know i never had that profile, i tried to log in with the "forgot password" clicked that typed in my email address and it says "Error! You don't have a profile"☹️ I ended up phoning miway i was told to take pics of my car and mileage of the car and sent it to them.
I have tried twice to register on the app and am frustrated...I cannot log in Was told its been improved but having the same experience again..
Utter rubbish. Loved the old App. Can't login as it says my credentials are invalid, cant change my password. Even tried to register again and it says I don't have a profile. Used to work perfectly. I would consider leaving because if you can't get a simple App right how can we trust you with our Insurance. Would give a zero if the option was available.
Trying to get a quote, when I download the app, there is only the option to login or register, I select register. Then it gives me an error and option to start a quote, when I want to do a quote it gives me another error and only gives me the option to go back to the dashboard, to either login or register.
Bad so far, I'm new to Miway and I still have to take pictures of my vehicle. Logged in once but now I can't seem to be able to log in as it either sends an error message that "incorrect password" or my profile does not exist, and when I try to register a new profile it say "profile already exists". Bad bad bad so far.
I have been trying forever just to log onto the app. It keeps on saying invalid password then when I try to reset my password then it tells me that I don't have an account! Then when I go to register then it says I should log in. This app has been messing me around and it's frustrating!
The app does not work. I am trying to register to log in for the self inspection. I watched the video and everything looks easy. I asked for an OTP over and over and over on my cell and by email, but when l type it in it says it has expired!!
According to me, this app has limited information. One doesn't have all what you want. I need to take pictures of my car and don't know what to do. Tried chatting, no response, tried sending a whatsapp message, whoever responded did that after an hour while I was not on line and immediately left when they couldn't get response from me
The chat functionality is atrocious. If you don't keep your screen unlocked & constantly send messages even if the representative isn't responding it disconnects the session and you have to leave chat and queue all over again. Happened 4x in a row and twice it cut the conversation while I was on hold. I tried this as an alternative to holding on the call centre lines after it burnt through all my airtime. All this because I specifically requested to be paid out for my claim which was ignored
Using the chat service on the app. While speaking to an agent. I had a few unknown error messages. Eventually I couldn't return to the conversation and had to start over . Even the miway whatsapp,I still haven't received any reply from miway
Insuring my vehicles was so much easier when I could do it MYSELF online! Now I have to waste so of my time by actually speaking to a consultant to have any of my vehicles insured. Very disappointing! Even if I need to make changes to my policy etc I am unable to do so anymore. What's the point of the app if you can't do anything ???
