Mixlr - Social Live Audio

Great app, I was enjoying using it but I just updated it and now it won't open, keeps telling me to update.

Before now, Mixlr used to work great. But for some weeks now the sound just stops for no reason whenever I'm listening to a broadcast. This is VERY annoying. I always have to leave the page and return for the sound to be restored. I first thought it was because I had poor connection, but it happens even with strong connection. Then I thought oh maybe I need to update the app, but I came here and didn't see the update button, then saw that I'm not the only one experiencing this. Fix this, please.

Pls do something about this, anytime I'm listening to a broadcast it will just stop suddenly Pls it really annoying, do something about it abeg...

Was great before. Now, its average. Looking to move to another app

Love the app and use it a lot. The only issue is with the new interface for the showreel section, for some reason it won't play completely through, it will stop after 5-10 minutes of playing. Also if won't scroll through the entire list of episodes. This must only be an Android problem, my wife has an iphone and it doesn't have this issue. Other than that it's great.

I like the app, but it needs an upgrade. In the chat room you can talk to others but on the apple app you can actually see the icons of the people in the chat room. Also I can't hold a signal while driving in my car. The buffering is sometimes ridiculous. I mostly use this app while I'm in my home or not moving around too much. Last update was 11/2017. Really come on. It decent and really the only reason I use this app is because my friends who dj have a channel on here. Needs some definite improvements.

Has been great till a recent issue of the app not being able to open. It is an incredible resource for making live music widely available and I absolutely love it as do all the others who love our bands. I have an Android myself and it could play a part in the issues I am experiencing at the moment. Please fix soon as my favorite band is on tour now. Thank you for your great work!

I`ve been using the web version for quite a while and it's been like 10 minutes since I actually installed the App as well. Great interface. Loving the look of it so far. However, right away I`ve noticed some issues that I thought are worth this review: - My name is displayed twice in the Chat as Name, Name - Every message I sent appears twice on my end even though on other terminals it appears just once - Removing the headphones does not automatically mute the streaming. Ended up playing some banging drum & bass in my pocket at the office for a while until someone told me to take off my PC headphones, heh. Kind regards!

Good app! signing up is easy and the application works great even on windy and rainy days. As long as you are properly receiving data the app works great! Its easy to use on mutiple platforms from broadcasting on a computer to listening on a mobile device. Only improvement I'd like is for them to bring more stations to mixlr for free listening.

I'm just free user. Thank you for the free 30 minutes. Report: the notification about "broadcast time almost up" is so disturbing, it make my phone freeze and sometimes restart on its own. I really suggest that the notif is removed or just make it at the last minutes (minute 29 or 30) so we can make full use of the free 30 minutes. ====== After the update i can use until 30 minutes plus a few second. And the audience count is back. Thank you very much.

The recorded sound quality is excellent!👍🏽 Much better than ZCast's web app (zcast's only option for Android users). However, I gave a 3 star rating because the phone app is a lot less robust than the web app. I will stick with this app for now... the alternatives in the app store are far less desirable (Anchor doesn't have a live option; Spreaker is just ugly; SpoonRadio requires a copy of government ID for citizens outside of Korea [SO not happening!]). Until there are significant design improvements, I'll be using Mixlr's web application far more than I'll be using the phone app.

Tried to sign up. Entered user name, mail id and password. Then OTP came to mail. switched the tabs to access the OTP from mail. When came back to mixlr OTP page is gone and again asking for sign up. Not able to procced further... Disappointed. Pathetic experience. Happened two times. Had to use third gmail account. Same happed with my friend also.

Not sure what has happened in the last few months but this app is now terrible. Keeps loading and not opening, have to close and open multiple times to get to open one station. Thought there was a faulty update but just checked and saw the last update was in November 2017. This app needs an update desperately, it's basically useless to me at this point

I downloaded this app, but onboarding is horrible. I created an account, but can't log in with the details. I tried registering again and it keeps rejecting the email. So I practically can't log in, nor can I create another account.

In earlier version mixlr app has a recorded audio folder in this version we couldn't find that. Also we couldn't play older recorded audio's, only few old records can play. Other one is we couldn't download audio's from app. We appreciate if you guys can add these in future updates. I'm paid user.

I love this app; but could you please fix the showreels option. It doesn't show all the previous classes and lectures anymore. Update: Thank you so much for fixing the issue with the showreels option! Excellent service; Excellent application! Thank you, again.

Been having issues lately opening the app. It keeps telling me that it is loading and as such, I get to miss out on broadcasts scheduled for certain days. Please get this fixed. Thanks. Sequel to my initial complain which has been resolved, I don't know why the updated version is requesting for my login details each and every time I want to make use of the app. Is there no database to remember one's last login so that the experience is seamless? Kindly look into this. Thanks.

I started using Mixlr in June 2020 and it has been quite an interesting adventure. It's user-friendly but challenging when it comes to operating in line with time resets. It would be nice if the service provider sticks to a fixed reset pattern and allow the broadcaster a more free hand in the utilization of the allotted daily broadcast time. - Chiedozie Nzeh (Precision Radio)
