i really love this app because it's very simple and ad-free. but the reason i gave it four stars because when i'm making a note at night, my eyes hurt because it's too bright and also when i tap something, it swipe itself to the top which is really annoying especially if it's long. i'd really appreciate it if you could fix this bug but overall, this is a really nice app and i really recommend it when you're looking for an app where you could put images.
No confirmation to save notes? EDIT: To save a note, all I have to do is press Back button. But what I meant was for you to include a confirmation to save changes. If I accidentally pressed Back while making "temporary" changes, the note will be saved with changes I do not want, and previous data will be lost forever. I'm just asking for a "Do you want to save the note?" box, when I press back. Thanks a lot for this being powerful, neat and free.. Amazing!
It's a good wordpad with a lot of features. The paste symbol is a little confusing and it sometimes doesn't save my stuff, often times I find myself retyping things because it just didn't save when I backed out Update: Thanks for the reply, I don't know what you mean by a confirm button. This isn't an extremely frequent problem to the point where it becomes unusable but it does become tedious when I type out a lot of text, just to have it disappear when I exit. I added a star for the quick reply
I LOVE this app. I like its simplicity and UI design. However, there are some things that I think will make it better. 1. Rich text editor. 2. PLEASE add dark mode :") 3. Make to do list individually (doesn't automatically add the to do list from a particular note.) 4. The ability to change time and date. 5. Calendar. Thanks so much and keep up the good work!!! ♥️♥️
Keeps discarding edits and losing notes. I add to a note, for example on a list, and the note loses the new addition of text. it has done this so many times, I can no longer trust this app and recommend you find a different note app if what you are doing is anything serious. I lost seizure logs for my child. Never again. I dont want to hear some excuse about confirming on a keyboard (whatever that means)... this isn't an issue on other editors. Don't make this complicated.
I rated almost 10 apps 2 stars just before coming across this app and I've rated it 4 stars because it's done an amazing job compared to others, HOWEVER, you can really improve it yet. For example, I have enabled cloud syncing but I want to be able to sync "everytime I want" but it happens automatically and gives me no option to make it sync on demand(manually). But I admit this is a very good app. Just please DO NOT MESS IT UP in future updates and keep it as SIMPLE AND EASY TO USE as it is.👋❤
I don't understand why this app seems to have such a hard time saving the edits to notes. I have to re-type what I wanted to put into the note 3 or 4 times before it will actually "auto save". This has been doing this ever since I got it and is extremely frustrating to have to re-type all of what I put in. This app has a lot of great features but there's no point in even having it if it doesn't save notes.
Great app that let's you add pictures. I wish it was upgraded with dark mode though. Easy to back up and switch phones but I'm not sure about using another app on Windows to access the notes. Still, it's a pretty functional app.
Honestly the Best Note Apps on the market. I want to get this app out there for anyone who may need it. Me, personally; I am an author and need a good app to organize notes and information. The app lets you have images within the note as well as voice clips which is even a step up from all other note apps. Its simple and easy to use and not your run of the mill "Grocery List" 5 Stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
This app is amazing! Just a few mistakes, when I finish writing something it will not save and all of my hard work is gone. Second, the pasting is awful because it will get rid of the last word. It's just those two things that really needs fixing. Love that app but needs more work.
Cloud sync not functioning. I tried turning it on but the exact message on my screen reads "com.domobile.notes.global.MyApplication requires one or more Google Play services that are not currently available. Please contact the developer for assistance." How can I sync my notes to cloud? I'd really appreciate the help because I really like using this app. :) Have a good day.
Does the job, i do enjoy the lock feature for select notes. Could do with the ability to have different coloured texts for visual reference and maybe coloured notes again for ease of reference expescially with the rows of notes you can have at one time. Sync is easy and the speach to text is really handy. The widget is an awesome idea and if it worked definitely 5 stars...but verry difficult to get working and i cant seem to open the app through the widget
This is a great app for taking notes, and i always use it from important stuffs. The reason i gave it a 4 is that, it don't have the 'bold, italic' things. I usually download note taking apps that can bold and italic texts but this one is an exception because i love it's simplest style and how efficient it is. So, if you could add the bolds and italic, that would be even more great! ヾ(＾-＾)ノ
App still dropping last letter, during copy, and paste. Been doing this forever! A lot of my entries are NOT uploading. Been doing this, also, for a long time! Over one year!😆 here's my latest comment 11/11/21 nothing has changed. 2/1/22 Nothing has improved! Any? 2/10/22 Nothing improved!
Really like it. Clean pretty interface with nice features. However, the lack of formatting for text is really holding it back. I think it can still be minimalistic if options like underline/italics are left out, but changing text size at least would be nice.
Mixnote is a flipping good app. I make sure to download everytime I get a new phone. I've given it five stars because it does what the application actually says it does. the one thing that I would love for the creaters of app to do is to have a login and sign up thing. I usually put pictures and texts here which are important, but when I do get a new phone, I can't get back all the data I lost so it would be really great if you had a sign up and login thing
I have had this app for a while, and really enjoyed it. However, recently I have had a lot of issues with information that I put in a note not saving. It is very frustrating, and has only been happening recently. The note will show that it has just neen updated, but when I go back in to look at my note, the information is not saved.
Very nice, been using this for 4 years. But at the fourth year cloud sync didnt seem to work. Anyway here's a tip, just use google drive to back up your folder. After that you can download your saved backup in any mobile device and move it to storage/mixnote/back up and press recover local back up in mix note.
Something suddenly feels off with this app, the Google sign-in feature no longer works maybe since yesterday or even a few days ago as I hadn't checked this app for a while, I notice it can't sync my 2 newly written notes with either wifi or mobile data, it can't be my phone (I migrated to a new phone and it worked the first day I set up everything) and I really hope the dev will look after this issue, this has been the most comfortable note app since the first time I found it last year
This is a really great and simple app. It is very easy to navigate and works well. It really bothers me that it does not have bold or itallic and other formating options. If that was added I would consider downloading again.
Simple and easy to use, the UI is clean and not distracting. Does what it's meant for. I really like the basic dark colour scheme used too. The tags feature really helps with organising. Tried many note apps, still keep coming back to this one.
I had no problem with this app before. I had uninstalled it and installed it again and the cloud sync worked just fine. I reinstalled the app recently and now the cloud sync inst working. I had many notes saved it which I can't lose. How can I get them back? When I click cloud sync it shows domobile.notes.global.myapplication and contact the developer.
As stated in another post, it leaves out the last letter/number etc if pasted from another app. Not particularly useful when saving passwords 😐 Also, there is no way of copying from the app to paste back again, not good for passwords again. I now find myself having to sit with pen and paper, copying by hand and then into another app.
Over all. It's a perfect notepad for me. The only downside I see on it, is it's incapable of putting some kind of security feature on each note (since the app you're suggesting is I think not on the playstore anymore) please fix this.
Search is nearly over. This app seems to be working well, good job devs. Hope the back up feature works all the times. Suggestion :The security shake option is fun , but it needs another basic touch onscreen lock /unlock option that invoke fingerprint app (it's not so cool to shake furiously to invoke fingerprints...) . But overall after testing several apps this one rocks. Thanks Devs Tried thousands of apps.. This one is stable.. Ready to pay a reasonable price to keep it alive
I absolutely love this app, I've been using it for years now. Its easy, simple allows you to jot down notes write stories at pictures record voice messages or have a private gallery. It does have one issue and thats when it doesn't save your stuff but thats suuuper fixable. You just click on duplicate and keep the copy or delete it. If you click duplicate it will 100% save it.
