Mixology™ Drink Recipes

This is a great idea for an app in concept, but it's executed poorly. It's very dated for one and is never updated. The ads are also really annoying. You'll get a much better drink recipe by simply Googling the drink you want to make. Don't waste your time.

When adding liquor to my inventory, it seems useless to add generic items. Some liquor like Applejack is the only type of its kind that is needed for certain classic cocktails. I do like the fact that there are some obscure ingredients that you can search for. It just doesn't let you add it to your cabinet.

When I first got the app I thought it was quite nice. About 2 updates ago it quit working properly on my Samsung s5. About the time the advisement started popping up the favorites went away. Every time I star my favorite and then check my favorite area nothing is there. Then I go back to the favorite that I starred and it is no longer starred. I would have rated this 4 stars other than that but that's a real problem.

Love the app I used it all the time when I was living in Virginia-DC area. I showed the recipe to the bartender and most times they would whip it up. My old co-worker when I worked on cruise boats was a bar tender and he recommended me the app. I bought it on iOS bit since then upgraded to Android some time ago; but now literally have no money to afford the app. Which is dumb. Should have bought it when I still had money. Can't even afford to go to bars any more :0

I like the idea of the app, but its recipes calls for 2oz of liquor. The legal serving amount is 1.5 oz in any combination... So this may be fine for home, but not for bartenders on the job. It's overpouring and will loose the bar money in the end, not to mention the liability on the bartenders end of the person they're serving.

Its a cool app, lots of drinks and you can search by ingredient or by name, but the favorites dont work.. you can click the favorite button on a drink but it wont show up in your favorite list, so youll have to just remember every drink you like and search for it every single time instead of being able to compile a personalized list of favorites

I can't save my favorite drinks therefore I cannot find them easily or remember what I'd like to make so I have to write on pen and paper all the drinks I'd like to make next. Not very convenient Lol thanks for listening other than that love the recipes and instructions

Just getting into mixing cocktails. May have been a great app back in the day. But it's been broken for almost 1.5 years, since the last update. About 75% of the time, it quits on opening. Opens most of the time the 2nd time. Search is very weak. Can search only by one of liquor, mixer, OR garnish. Want a drink with gin AND cranberry juice? Search by one, then scroll through a list of hundreds of drinks for the other. It will search within a list, but only the name, not the ingredients or description. A good search is critical with this many drinks. Think the closing scene of Raiders. Once you DO find a drink, you can't save it because favorites doesn't work. A shame too. With the broken search, I come across bunches of interesting drinks that are not what I'm looking for, but a save them to try another time. Since these issues go back years, I have no hope that they will ever be fixed.

I've used this for awhile would save on other phones. Also would like to see fireball on list

Ads make this app unusable. I'm running Android 6.0 on an LG G3 and every time I select a drink and ad pops up with no way to close it. When it hit the back button the app crashes without fail. I am uninstalling this app. Save time and do not install.

Havent even used yet but read review that nicole sullivan left, titled over pour... yeah legally you can put more than 1.5 oz in a mixed drink, otherwise you have been making terrible martinis and long island ice teas!!! And trust me, your bar wont lose money, if you put more than a shot and a half into a drink, it only takes a quarter of the bottle (if that) to pay for the bottle, so i repeat you dumb

You can't save favorites. It doesn't work properly. I agree with the people who said more brands and recipes should be added.

Decent enough app but I don't know too many apps with pop-ups ads. I don't mind ads for free apps but when those ads want to break my phone... Also, it hasn't been updated in two years.

It doesn't save my favorites. Quick search function but it's also missing a few things. Good, not great. Still handy

The app needs a whole lot more recipe for liquors now than ever... as someone with a little bit of experience. This app could be alot more updated for the market we have now.

I have a strong wifi signal with full internet access and have downloaded other apps but this one wont download and it wont let me stop the download. I've restarted my phone and the problem persists. Please help!

This app would get 5 stars if they would include some of the major brands. They are STILL missing RumChata® from the list and that's a MAJOR mistake in MY eyes. Will get 5 stars when more brands and more drinks are added. Otherwise, great app!!

I had this app on my ipod touch and loved it. Boss got us new phones, so I downloaded it on my Galaxy S6. It's terrible! Crashes, freezes on the ads, and no matter what I do I can't add any of the drinks to the Favorites list. So disappointed, because I love this app on my ipod and was expecting it to work just as well. I haven't updated the app on my ipod for a looooong time though, so guess the app used to be better.

Would love to see an update with Material Design. Also, favorited drinks don't stick.

Very neat and easy to use, interesting drinks hoping to try and good non alcoholic recipes experimented with friends.

I love this app, I do. But for some reason it is no longer saving any recipes to my Favorites. That is a huge problem, and I have noticed that others are having the same trouble. You really should get that fixed.

I used to use this all the time but now it isn't working. I can see the name but when i click on it, all i get is a blank screen.

I've recently changed to android and have had to install the latest version of this app. I was using an older version and it was so much better. I will be looking for an alternative.

Chewed through half of a full charge in less than an hour. Uninstalled.

Love this app, except it doesn't save any drinks I mark as "favorite." Would have rated it 5 stars otherwise.

Personal liquor cabinet is missing about 90% of what exists. Favorites function does not work. Need serious bug fixes.
