Hands down the best app for handling any and all files! With the add-ons available it can literally do anything you can imagine. It is, admittedly, a little raw - meaning, it's not a highly polished, extremely user-friendly, overly simplified file explorer - but if you're looking for a powerful tool that will handle anything you can throw at it, this is it. There is plenty of help available if you aren't sure what to do, but it doesn't have little tutorials for everything like some seem to want

it only took 5 minutes to test drive this to realize i needed to switch file browsers pronto. this is the most feature rich and flexible browser for clowd storage, allowing multiple options for opening file extensions which is leaps and bounds ahead of the competition. must buy for Android power users. there's a bug either with media players or file explorers on Android 12 that doesn't allow u to use certain apps to play files over cloud storage. HOWEVER, this app bypasses this "bug"

I have been using ES file explorer since v1.6. I have tried almost all file explorer you can name to replace it. This is the only one that I've came across that not only replaces ES but beats ES by a great margin. It takes time to get used to Mixplorer just because there are so so many customisations, that you'll fall in love with. The only thing that has room for improvement is Home page :- β€’ Memory bar for all storages β€’ Easy way to add icons like recycle bin and those shortcuts to homepage.

Best root file manager for Android. I can't believe it replaces my MP3 player and my PDF viewer and my video player, also I can stream all my movies on my samba network. The text editor works wonderful, you need a precise text editor especially if you're editing files in the root directory. Just a fantastic application. Hence the reason why I bought it.

This is the very best file manager for ChromeOS and Android. Take the time to play with it, and google the detailed help files. Most of your questions will be answered there. I love the two layer searches, which allow you to "drill down" and search the previous search results. A tremendous time saver!

One of the best file manager out there. Have been using the free version for a very long time. So after long I checked out the version on Play Store and I have to say that I'm completely satisfied. This version is very much the best and comes with lots of add-on. The developer response time is also great. Was facing an issue and got the solve within 2 hours. The developer is also very nice and polite. Thanks for such a fantastic File Manager!

The encryption function is rubbish - non intuitive and makes you have to find the item in some "task list” and then you end up with a copy! I then tried to recover some encrypted files and they ended up deleted. If I want to encrypt a file it should be enabled on the fly - directly - , not some obtuse method. I spent $5 in this app hype, now only to find an overly complicated app which I would cancel due to a bad experience. The original ES app worked really well - tragic loss........this is way too complicated to set up and the outcomes are entirely unpredictable without a lot of trial and error. If you proved a user manual with clear instructions on how to set up encryption files and folders that would help, but I dont have time to mess around with this - so I will find another app that serves my needs - therefore please apply a refund and I am now uninstalling this app. Thank you

Used for YEARS now and still loving it! I have been using the XDA version and just find out about this paid version and it was a no-brainer to buy it and send support!! Now I'm just going to find a way to export my settings between to old & new app!!

i lost my files because of cut/moving process failed. I can't see the problem in log. once my files on clipboard, it forbidden in list, except you clear in queue process. but if some problem while moving process not done, then you force to cancel the process, your files now gone even you clear queue. it risks using cut/ move over LAN/SMB.

Great file manager with one serious flaw. It can do a few things that other apps can't like find duplicate files, search by date, play animated gifs, and find empty/broken files. But if you try to open a webp file it will permanently corrupt the file.

Excellent. More technically steep than some may be used to. Since Mixplorer is done right, that only adds to its prowess as a file explorer and to tools and features you didn't know you or your device needed.

App is perfect. I'm unable to add it to Play Store Family library! Pls enable playstore support for it Update - Yeah I checked it. From Google Play help - I purchased content, but I can't add it to Family Library If you can't add content that you've bought to Family Library, it might be because: ***** The content isn't eligible to be added to Family Library. **** - It needs to be enabled for family library support your side. Can you check it...

I've used a lot of file browsers as a poweruser. This app is fantastic + the theme support is incredible. I used the free one for a long time and came across some Google Play credit recently - I instantly knew I had to support this developer.

Worst user experience of any app I've ever used. Trying to find instructions or user manual is impossible. There's lots of cool features but can't seem to figure out how to make anything work. Constantly get error when searching "Can't do that".

People who have lives to live won't have time for this. Geeks, nerds, devs and dorks will enjoy spending hours and hours exploring the myriad of blah. At first I was so impressed by all the "functionality" that I paid for this after already sideloading it for free. But not now. I don't want to dive through an ocean of settings just to change the simplest things. Most of us just want a quick hands-on file sorter. The user guide shows just how complex this app is. Days and days of... learning...😨

Everything was fine , but then i found .encfs feature and started to use it , i put some important images there , but every time when i try to view those it takes a lot of time to load it . Edit:- i totally removed lower perfile IV iterations and it's working, 6 Gb Ram should be considered as a faster device, i already have it. But Mixplorer Crashes Whenever you try to view heic extension files

It's a great utility with a lot of features, few of which I use. One future I definitely could use, sending file links with expiration times for Backblaze B2 buckets.

Best File Manager ever. Buggy after Android 10 upgrade on Galaxy S9. OTG SD Card requests permission at open & requires selection of root directory upon every connection with same card. Moving files via USB gives an existing file error for each file.

Best file explorer app. Full stop. Been using for years after finding on xda. Works great for smb NFS and Google drive access on my phone and android tv. Glad to pay for this app and hats off to the devs.

View not scaling when display size and font size set to large. However only internal storage is not showing large, sdcard, menu all display large when changed in system settings. Other things work great.

Jos. S. Mar 12, 2020

This used to be the perfect file manager, but in recent versions, it takes at least two-three seconds to open the internal storage directory. This doesn't seem like a big deal, except that the delay appears to be getting worse. As another user has noted, this wasn't the case in previous versions. Nothing else on my phone has changed so something in the app must have changed in recent updates. I'll still use it, but it's not nearly as fluid and enjoyable to use as it once was. REVISED: In response to Developer, who was good enough to reply, disabling 'More Details' did not help unfortunately. But what DID help was moving the app to my SD card (I used Apps2SD). Now MiXplorer opens smoothly again with no delay. Of course I had to root my phone first, which not everybody may be able to do, but moving app to SD card did work, if that's any help.

This is the best file manager for Android, hands down. This is what ES File Explorer used to be, but even better. Tons of options are built right in such as Archive management (.zip, .rar, .7z, etc.) which is quite challenging to find for some reason. The interface is very elegant, and makes using it fun and easy. Even if you don't need the more advanced options, it's still a great choice because of how easy simple functions like copy/move/paste are with tabs.

Best file manager, period, not even close. Built-in viewers for a ton of file types (fast!). Symbolic links! I can't say enough about how brilliant and flawless this software is. It does a ton of one-of-a-kind things and yet it performs beautifully, is super smooth, and is incredibly easy and intuitive to use. I'd pay big $$$ for this because it's such a pleasure to use and there's nothing close to it β€” I've tried all the others. I'd be lost without MiXplorer. Irreplaceable.

And. G. May 22, 2021

Impressed with it. Was more than I hoped for. Clean / minimalistic quick and contextual UI. I'd be happy to pay double the price just to know that the developer has enough to keep up support. Looked for a replacement of the old ES File Explorer Pro. This is less cluttered and feels quicker / more responsive. It's just πŸ‘Œ Big thanks to the developers.

This is hands-down the best file manager for Android. Back when ES Explorer sold out, I began a to look for a replacement. I have tried lots and lots of file managers, tried even some paid ones, but all of them had some annoyance or missed some feature i wanted. This one can literally do everything. It's stable, well thought-out, easy to use, efficient and on top of that it looks good! I have used the free version from XDA for years now and I always recommended it to others without reservation. In fact, this file manager always made me happy to be a part of the XDA community -it reinforced my belief that good software comes from enthusiasm and not from milking people for their money. Still, I am truly happy to see this version here on the Play Store, since I would love to see the great dev repaid for his work and for Mixplorer to get the recognition it deserves. Get this one, it's worth it. Check out the free version first, if you like, it isn't restricted in any way. As for me, I would gladly pay double the price. P.S.: For people switching from the XDA Version to this one: You can export your configuration and just open the resulting file to transfer all settings and servers.

If you're looking for a simple, easy to use file manager, you could probably make this work, but other simpler options are available. If you're looking for a true power user file manager that makes Android feel like Windows, Mac, or Linux, then this is definitely the one for you! A great mix of advanced options, customisable UI, and top notch functionality make this a go to for me on any Android or Android-based device
