MixZing Music Player

This App was really good I used it for years it used the normal advertise what was fine but in the last year it started video advertising like YouTube what is not ok always when you stat the app it shows you a video... YouTube shows the vide but they have the videos in their site and the music I have in my phone paied those..... It is my opinion

Hi all. I have been using this player from a long time now and no player so far come close to the features it provides except the Connected Music Player featured in Motorola phones. Devs please introduce a built-in service like soundhound or shazam. And make it look fluidic like Android lollipop.

I mostly used this app for the auto playlist feature which worked well with my music library, so I bought the premium version. Auto playlist no longer works and there appears to be no support from the writer - without this feature its "just another player" and frankly not the best available. Will edit this review if I can get a reply from Mixzing.

I like that you can play all songs in a folder and the radio recommendations based on artists. Also, being able to delete songs from within the app is a nice feature that I missed having. Coming from the Walkman app, the UI will take some getting use to because it seems a bit 'stock' but overall it's a good app

I've used Mixzing since I had the HTC Evo 3D, and it has been great with easy install and use through my LG V10. I even paid for the non-ad version. Unfortunately it isn't working on new V20. It can't find the Music folder on my SD Card and when I point it in the right direction it just hangs up and crashes out to the home screen. Sadly uninstalling and looking for something that will work.

The app is very good, the best I like about it is the car Bluetooth ability to remember where I stopped and next time I got in the car, it plays where it stopped. The only negative I found is it is not fully compatible with my car bluetooth, I can't access any songs using my car stereo, I have to use the phone, also I cannot fast forward or backwards from the car as well, I have 2016 Toyota Prius. Hope that can be fixed to purchase the full version.

Update destroyed nearly ALL functionality on my Kyocera with 7.1.2 Nougat. App will open and play whatever is queued, will navigate into Video folder, but closes every time I try to open Music folder or "page" through recently played display. I have Premium version. NEVER had problem before. Have uninstalled everything, reinstalled: no change. Useless to me now

App was fine, now all of a sudden internet tabs open and play store opens to download a game. Only way to stop is to shut off mobile data AND WiFi. Not doing that for one app. Going to delete and use VLC. No problems there. thanks anyway. Everyone else be aware. App is now junk

This app worked great for me for two years. Over the weekend I purchased a new phone, and somehow, today alone, over the course of six hours, this app ate up almost 3gb of data, half my monthly allotment. I was flabbergasted and have no Idea what happened or why, but I'm very disappointed and frustrated. Will not use again.

I've come back to it after several years. I've always liked it but thought (& told them) that it could use several improvements, which now seem to have been implemented, especially the look of the widgets. Though I like it the editing function doesn't seem to work and I can't manually change my album covers.

When I first started using this app back in 2010 it was amazing. I would have given it 5 stars. But now the only features that work are the mp3 and video players and the eq, which, in my opinion, is second to none. But I can no longer get ANY radio stations, the "identify song" and "edit tags" features won't work. I'm looking for something else that will work like mixzing used to.

After update music will not play if the equalizer is on....This app is GARBAGE without it ..... please fix asap this is currwntly the biggest waste of money ive made yet. Should not be having these problems with premium account

After Samsung update, the app fails to launch properly. Very frustrating. Furthermore, Mixzing promised in the adds a mood player similar to the Apple genius function, but I failed to figure out how to use it, and the company has ignored my feedback. Do not waste you're money on this useless app

I have been using this program for a few years and it is a great media player. However after upgrading my Android phone to 7.0 the program no longer functions. It crashes anytime I try to open up my music folders. Hope they fix it soon then I can change my rating to 5 stars

Issues with anything to do with network. Constantly states: 'Service is Starting'. Unable to edit tags, or save info to tags. Just plays music, and nothing else in the app is working. Not holding my breath for a fox since it hasn't been updated in NINETEEN MONTHS.

Overall I'm very satisfied with this music player. There is one problem I've found with it, though. For albums with two CDs, it will not play in order. It plays the first song from CD 1, then the first song from CD 2, then the second song from CD 1... instead of the first song from CD 1, then the second song from CD 1... For multi disc albums I use a different music player. Besides that peculiarity, I think it's a great app.

What happened to this? I have been using this since I was on Eclair, practicly the stone age of Android, and I loved it! Paid for it, the first or second app I ever paid for. Gave it a 5 star rating because it was much better than the stock because I liked the interface more and there were great features. Updates made it better each time. Now, everything that made it special is gone. Can't get lyrics or select the best album art. The only reason I still use it is that I like the widget and I'm familiar with the interface. Other than that, I wouldn't even bother.

For a long time I have used this app and loved it. Recently I have purchased a new phone and now I can't find my music that I know I have on my SD card. Also just clicking on music button closes the app completely. This happens with both the free and premium version. If the this gets fixed I will happily give 5 stars again.

The Lollipop bug which made the player unusable with EQ on made me switch to Poweramp but nothing beats the EQ customisation found in Mixzing. Now that it has music controls in notification and fully works on Lolipop it's finally getting my 5/5 star rating.

This has always been my favourite music app as listing albums by folders is as excellent feature. However, for the past few months it has stopped working. I am on a One+3 and it used to work. Now it just opens and immediately closes. Does anybody have a fix for this. Always been a 5 star Application til now 😢

I don't want all the audio files to be picked up in my storage. Instead I want to select the folder in which my songs are placed. Earlier mixzing had this option, but now I am not able to change the default music directory and it plays all the audio files in storage. Enable this music directory feature again n I will give 5 stars.

This is great for older phone users who have large libraries on large SD cards. BUT if you try using it with Android 7 it just never works (the service never successfully starts). Sadly, it looks like development has ended. I don't think any other app handled recommendations this well, so it is sad to see this app die. Enjoy this one while you can with your older phone. The phone you buy in 2017 probably won't work with it.

My favorite music player. But not working since Android 7. So I now use poweramp only one that comes close .. so please fix. I recommend poweramp to you mixzing users since these guys don't want to fix their app.

None of the Info Links (except Google & Wiki Search) work any more (December 2015). Lyrics, Info, Youtube, nothing..also HTC Sense 7 lock screen player currently doesn't work on htc one m7 lollipop. also the htc built in visualisation doesn't seem compatible with this. Otherwise just great app. Maybe make some features optional? Eg. Online radio and video player adds more library files and increases install size

I wanted to like it. I installed and opened it. I selected folders, my folders displayed but then it close but to home screen. Did this over and over. When I select scan it shut down and won't open again. I forced stopped but still should not open. I Uninstalled and then reinstalled. It opened but same thing. I pressed the music box and it closed and app would open again. I Uninstalled and reinstalled 5 times. Trying to troubleshoot and fix. But if app don't want to open, then I don't want it.

I just changed my rating from a five to a one. I think Mixzing may have gone away. Had it for years but it just stopped working for my new phone. Asked for help twice. First email ignored. Second I get a DAEMON that there is no more email service to their address. I own the premium edition. Use caution.
