The old app used to work perfectly with my mk802iii. But this one fails to connect, even with manual ip setting and refreshing the eHomeMedia app
Does not work recommend drop 802 and get chromecast ,my 802 is scheduled for retirement as it's useless without this app wish I never updated this app old version was really good
Works fine on 20121205 No problems at all just need a username & password from the admin
Older version worked on my mk808 this one won't. How about this great program for the more popular mk808
Not sure if it's supposed to work with MK809IV, but it doesn't.
No help, instructions or working app
Turns my tablet or phone into a mouse pad or remote keyboard
Conecting to device, but does not work
Not working with firmware mk802ii firmware20121031
...will there be an updated version of this app??? I just got a rikomagic mk802 IV. Is it too new? because the app can't find it? Hope there is an update or something soon... THANKS ;-)
Works with 20121031 but needs a server side app on the stick. The apk can be found by searching the web for it in some forums, and login info needs to be obtained from rikomagic support by sending them an email asking for the id and password for it.
This app allows your Android phone or tablet to remotely view and control your Rikomagic MK802II over Wi-Fi. The MK802II display is mirrored on your phone, and your phone acts as touchscreen and gyro for the MK802II. The client can constantly mirror the MK802II display, or refresh the display on demand; I chose to constantly mirror the MK802II. With this setting the remote app always lags the physical display. The lag can be reduced by setting lower display resolution on the MK802II. I found 720P yielded a tolerable 1/2 second delay. I deducted a star for lacking docs. This app needs an unmentioned Remote Server app running on the MK802II. I recommend upgrading to the 2012.12.08 MK802II firmware, which not only includes the remote server app but starts it after the MK802II boots up. Great for a headless MK802II. I almost deducted a second star because the Remote Server app on the MK802II requires a Rikomagic-issued ID and Password. It's the first thing the Remote Server asks for when you start it on the MK802II. You need to contact Rikomagic (click Email Developer above) to get an ID and Password for your MK802II. MK802II Remote Client is great once everything's up and running.
Worst upgrade, cannot find my Android TV, it just kept searching but no result. Very Disappointed.
Don't waste your time
Cannot connect to any advice.
