It's a wonderful quality of life improvement over carrying around a ton of quarters. That being said, it works really well 90% of the time. Just make sure you check which car you are parking, they recently adjusted this in a patch and it works much better now. The only thing I would add is a GPS indicator showing where your parking zone is when you are selecting how much time you want. It would keep my mind at ease when I'm double checking the spot.
This app is very easy to use and works perfectly every time! Notifications come through when your parking session has started and when it's about to end, can also help you find your car if you forgot where you parked. I would recommend this over paying with change to anyone looking to park in the Milwaukee area.
This app is broken. There's no excuse for such basic functionality issues e.g. I cannot modify the time or add anything except min or max, I can't save a session in prog. without reverting to default values, no cancelling, no refunds, various freezing/crashing issues, and even the feedback form freezes the app. It could be so great... but isn't. It's like buying a Ferrari but oh btw the trans is stuck in first, too bad so sad. If there were an alternate way to buy parking time, I would use it.
App feels unintuitive and clunky. Parking times are often times uneditable and forces you to pay the maximum amount. The transaction fees are $0.35 and that is significant compared to the cost of parking. After our city encouraged everyone to use the app to pay when they reinstated metered parking I hoped that the app would be better, but I'm disappointed that our city has probably invested a significant amount into an app that still is often times unusable.
App works, but the people that support/update it are clearly lazy or incompetent. They forced people to reset their passwords but refused to update the requirements on the reset links. At least until you try to update the password based on the password needs,, then they add the the new requirements under the wrong wording. So basically ignore what they say on the page until you fail to create a password them they'll tell you the right way.
It works but should have the ability to search by space number. The zone number isn't on the parking meter where you park, but space number is. It's more work to try and guess what zone you're in, and some zones are the same as space numbers.
I like the convenience of having an app to pay for parking in Milwaukee- especially as a touchless solution during COVID-19. However, as many others have mentioned, the app has technical limitations, and by the time my transaction completes, I have been ticketed. I initiated the forgot password flow while in my vehicle (email with reset link timestamped 1 minute after leaving vehicle), and received confirmation of my payment transaction 4 minutes after leaving my vehicle, and still returned to find a ticket.
Sometimes works. Frequently doesn't. Freezes up when I try to set the time. Also, when will this app add the Start/Stop feature? Today I had to pay for 8 hours of parking (wanted to select 5, but app forced me to choose maximum time) but my test got cancelled so I ended up needing < hour. Would have been nice to get a refund. The Park Mobile website shows this Start/Stop feature is available in other markets - they showed a demo using Philadelphia. Guess Milwaukee wants to grab every last nickel.
I could not get the app to work. It downloaded, but I repeatedly received an error that it could not connect to the app. It was not the cell data because other apps and services worked fine. Luckily I had change on hand.
overall a good utility. however my main usability concern is that i can't simply type in the parking Ml meter number. i am forced into a zone number path. since the meter doesn't have the zone number listed i am at a loss. as a parker i want to be able to enter a meter number and pay for the time in it
This app is in the running for the worst app. You're constantly being log out and have to log back in. Doesn't recognize your password, when you rest and be password doesn't recognize. Beyond frustration.
The notice that payment failed is on a small portion of the bottom of the phone screen, with small font, for too short a period of time, and in grey and black so as not to capture one's attention. Because of this I received a parking ticket. You owe me $22.
App is convenient but lags terribly. Sometimes takes longer to use than just paying the meter. Times out while trying to pay parking and won't load.
Easy to sign in, pay for space however, the "Find My Car" button is inaccurate. Took me an hour to find my car because of this...
App works fine but it does me no good when I'm at work and have to move my car to another spot and then go back to the app. I would rather just plug the meter and see the time on the meter.
Zone number search does nothing, and the QR scanner doesn't recognize the codes. Pretty useless, just use the pay stations.
It's great when it works. Lately there's been a glitch when trying to set the duration. The numbers are all jumbled and they don't scroll like they should
it's taken me a few tries, but once you get the hang of how this works, it is really convenient and so much easier than finding change and running out to extend the time.
Nice app I have not had any problems using it so far. It lets you easily choose how long you want to park and links to your credit card for the chatges.
Bad day, put coins in wrong meter, Tried to download and open app, credit card was unsuccessful in meter, couldn't locate zone, bad all around. Waiting for ticket.
This app save me so much time! I was confused at first about the zone number. FYI the zone number is the spot you're parking in, that 4 digit number posted on those little poles.
It took way too long to log in and reset my password. There is no zone number it's just a parking space number. And why does Milwaukee have to use its own parking app? Why not use the same app as other cities?
You can't park in the same spot more than once, on the same day or extend your time last whatever the Max was even after it runs out BUT it's super easy to use. I like it.

AWFUL. This app used to work. Somewhere along the line they changed password requirements and didn't notify us. Standing outside in awful weather trying to get it to work. Password I've had for a few years didn't work. Tried re-set password and app said they'd send me a text to allow me to change password. Never received it. Eventually used quarters. Yah. Quarters. Low tech. 30 seconds vs. dealing with this app for 5-6 minutes to no resolution.
