MLB Tap Sports Baseball 2019

Ever since the playoff update, the game is extremely slow to load everything. Pretty much unplayable. Old review: Game is fun to play and no issues on my end. I would give it 5 stars but the ads that pop up every few matches (to buy something) gets annoying. If you aren't careful and you try to exit but hit the purchase button it pops up with the confirm and it is right next to the home button.

game crashes at suspicious moments during tournaments and challenges, and then you lose all progress and rewards earned up to that point. once the game crashes you're forced to start all over even though there's a clock running that gives you an hour to complete the next battle. what's suspicious is that it always seemed to do it at the very end of the challenge, just before you were going to finish the challenge and win the grand prize. I pointed this out, and was told to stop complaining.

Started out fun. Thought it was going to be great. However, since playing more and more I can't stand how hard it is to identify the correct pitch. Maybe km just bad at the game. In which case, any chance at more tutorial?! But I find myself wanting to throw my phone at a wall half the time as no idea where the pitch is going to go. Yes this might be realistic but I'd like to hit a pitch and no just strike out all the time. Yeah I keep playing and keep getting more and more frustrated. It's BS

It's enjoyable for the first hour of playtime. As soon as you level up to beginner, be prepared to either pay-to-play or drag your face against the brick wall that is this game when you don't pay up. They entice enough morons into wasting tons of their money, and everyone else will experience nothing but frustration and disappointment. I would've gladly parted with a few bucks, if there weren't constant problems with audio, loading, freezing/not responding, etc., every time I opened the app.

UPDATE 7/25/19: I lowered the rating from two stars down to one. I would actually rate it zero stars now until a glitch is fixed. First the pitching was glitchy and choppy. Now the pitching seemed to get a little better at times but now the game crashes everytime I try to play. The game is good. The only thing I don't like about it is while you're being pitched to, the game freezes just enough to mess up the pitch and you can't get an accurate swing to hit the ball. Needs that bug fixed.

This game is a joke. It constantly freezes especially after completing levels in walk off hero challenges causing you to lose your progress. it also has nothing to do with skill or timing, if the game wants you out, then you're out. They need to fix it and not rig it to benefit themselves. I've wasted alot of time on this game just to be let down over and over again. Thanks for the rip off GLU.

New update has the game running much slower than before. Also, CvC has been ruined by making the pitchers about 60-80 overall points better. It used to be my favorite part of the game. Lastly, I've hardly seen any instances where you can get bonus points or multipliers for a recently acquired player (boxes or rewards). This makes it almost impossible to level them up high enough to make a difference in the initial event they are released with.

Game is enjoyable and has a lot of replay value with constant events. However, I've made a purchase in the game, which removes ads (ANY purchase removes ads, per the developer) but this only removes the ads for OTHER apps and not the ads to purchase other in-game items. The pop-ups cover the screen and are easily selected inadvertently, which takes another step to cancel the purchase. Even when they're not, and are closed correctly, it locks up for a few seconds and ruins the in-game experience.

Game takes forever to load, then constantly freezes up...many glitches, especially the annoying half-second delay right when the pitch comes to you. I found myself having to start my swing before the pitcher let go of the ball...pay to play? Idk, maybe... but, no worse than others that I've seen. You do get free various boxes without paying, but they are usually bad players. I can overlook a lot, but not the constant freezing after waiting 5 minutes for it to load. Gets real old fast.

I don't normally leave bad reviews, but this is seriously one of the most frustrating sports games I've ever played. Timing? Skill? Nah, every hit is a pop-up or grounder, and the opposing players will miraculously be positioned exactly where they needed to be to make the play. Also, let's just make it so that no matter how well the player does (aka how lucky they get), our off-screen AI will score more runs. Terrible, frustrating, DO NOT INSTALL THIS HOT GARBAGE GAME!!!

Ok here's what's going to happen: 9th inning, runner on 3rd, and your guy at bat is going to hit a double ball. The moment the ball lands the game is going to inexplicably restart and erase the run that would have score. This will happen multiple times, and in addition the game will pause mid pitch for no reason, be super agressive with loot boxes, play ads for hitting bonuses that do not apply, and many other extremely frustrating bugs. If you're down for that, then the gameplay is pretty good.

New review: game is completely broken after the 2019/10/14 update. There is horrible lag and it now takes upwards of 5 minutes to simulate a game. It took days for Glu to own up to the mistake and there is no ETA for a fix. Old review (3 stars): free to play and can be fun and challenging. the developers made it more focused on spending than last year. it was easier to have fun with a free to play team last year.

Terrible Customer Service! I used money to purchase in game currency. In the game, I used the currency to continue a special challenge. After successfully completing the challenge, the game crashed. I told customer service about the issue. Here is the response: "I totally understand how frustrating it is to lose your progress on a game where you work hard for. Unfortunately, I'm unable to send back the currency that has been spent on the event" Congrats. You lost a paying client.

This is my third season for this game, and I am receiving pop up ads for games. It's not me watching a video for boosts or me accidentally hit the wrong button. It's always the same pop up game, Machington Mansion, and you cannot close it out until 30 seconds is up. Never had this happen before, and I asked my teammates in club, waiting for response. Very frustrating, please look into this.

I love this game; as a competetive softball player myself, this is the closest I can get to playing when I'm offseason. I play every day and love all the options for upgrades, games, players, etc. but the newest update has made this experience less enjoyable. Everything takes a while to load, and while the graphics are nice, it takes twice as long for the game to load and to autoplay games. I also cant open gifts and everything is so much more laggy. Edit: Now fixed!

the game is super fun! but I just think that it hasn't change enough from previous years. I keep playing because I like it and anyone could really enjoy. I've given it 5* before but I just want them to do more. still transitions when game ends seem to be too many when in a single window can display score, points earned (in case of an event). Screen to bat (or autoplay) is dull should leave the one of when other team is batting and simply enable the buttons. I could go on but ran out of chars

I like the idea of these games...i have played '17, '18, and now '19, and it's the same everytime. Make it easy at first, but then impossible anytime afterwards. Need to spend time of $$$ just to feel like you can keep up. The odds of getting any actually good players from free boxes are garbage. Not to mention the physics of the ball when hit. You could time the seeing perfect everytime and it ends up being a nub shot to the pitcher. Quite the unfair game.

Cash app for sure. Terrible odds for new players, and doesnt take talent to play. Its basically a game to upgrade your team, not to play baseball, thats it. Customer service is no help when you need it. The chief reason for the 1 star, are the bugs. There are videos to watch to earn in game perks, and rarely work. Especially during club vs club matches when you need them. No going back on advances when the video wont load. Gameplay sometimes freezes too. All in all, stay away.

needs some adjustments. the game has awesome potential, and i used to have the previous versions. however, it is still weak in the aspect of gameplay. i think the view should be from the catcher when hitting. its almost impossible to actually determine a ball or strike... which is sad for a baseball game. also, the runner speed versus reality is definitely misrepresented. ground balls that should be beaten out are not, and some doubles should be stand up triples... very frustrating!

i love this game. it is really in depth and there is a lot that you can do. however... i was unable to keep my keepers from 2018 and customer service was no help.. saying i put my keepers on a different username when i didn't. sometimes videos won't load to earn prizes but yet the ads seem to work just fine. lol. it takes alot of luck and time to win a good player. but overall this is a really fun game and have been playing it for 2 years daily. i would definitely recommend trying it.

the game has it's good and bad points. consistency is the most challenging part. though fun can be frustrating. the leveling is basic though more of a nuisance since changing it from 2 years ago. I think this year the developers are chasing money more instead of drawing more people in they are only making it better for those that pay for players that are rarely usable for other events

Addicting, and terribly frustrating. 5 times I've played the homerun battle it forces me to restart. Im nearly about to finish the slug fest, and it oops up with a screen that says, "oops.. we need to resart." Im on wifi, strong signal, not moving, good battery, never happens at any other time. It only happens when I'm nearly finished with the homerun battle. Doesn't happen at the beginning, which would be less aggravating. Fix it, and I'll change the rating.

I've had problems with the lineup/batting order for almost 2 months. I have contacted support so many times but nothing has been done. They keep saying we are working tirelessly to fix the problem but not yet. There has also been so many problems with glitching and freezing with the club vs club rounds in versus it is ridiculous. They always want to blame it on the internet feed which can be true sometimes but it isnt the case all the time and i knew that for a fact with my setup. Get better glu

This game is fun to play .After the last update I was having issues with game crashing a lot and pitches disappearing. Make sure to update all your apps keep excess data from building up to keep game from crashing. I like that there are more opprtunities to pick up leveling points. The gifts are fun to open each day. If you like stats you'll have fun. The graphics are nice and if the game is running ok the gameplay is good.

The Walk-Off hero competition is unnecessarily difficult to complete as you have to start a level over again in you fail one of the 10 levels, especially with the ridiculous about of fly balls and ground outs compared to actual hits. I've spent hours on the same level and can't compete it. I'm done with this game until this is changed.

For some unkown reason every so often when I try to open the app. it keeps on saying loading failed and app. Won't open, I'd have to uninstall it and reinstall it. And I know for sure that my network connection and signal is excellent and connected. That happened to me 2 or 3 times so far and I would have start all over and I ended up losing all my great player I've worked so hard to get

I think Glu finally squeezed the last drop of fun from the game. It takes a long time to open or go between screens, throws up lots of sales ads that disrupt play, you can only watch a limited number of vids for gold, imposes a reset to the main screen if you look at the game funny or switch between apps, and even when you haven't watched any vids you often still can't watch the bonus vids for boosts or replays. Well done, Glu.
