The MMGuardian Parental Control app enables you to:

MMGuardian Web Filter and Safe BrowserThe MMGuardian Web Filter and Safe Browser combination allows you to set restrictions on what websites your child may visit. This feature also works with Incognito mode, unlike other apps like Mobile Fence parental control or SecureTeen parental control. Just select your child's age to use pre-set categories of web sites that should be blocked. Or edit the categories to suit your specific needs.
The function also includes advanced reporting on what sites have been visited, or blocked. The MMGuardian Safe Browser is included as standard as part of MMGuardian Parental Control and will appear as a separate app icon.
Uninstall ProtectionThe MMGuardian Uninstall Protection function prevents kids from removing or tampering with the app. If you have enabled the MMGuardian Uninstall Protection function, this must first be turned off. To disable Uninstall Protection: launch the MMGuardian application, and go to the settings screen, where you will see a button for Uninstall Protection. Ensure this is set to "Off", then proceed to uninstall as normal.

So, the app blocks a thing on my phone called Pixel Launcher, mind you a have a Google Pixel 4a, and for this phone, Pixel Launcher is quite literally the system UI, and as a result, I get a constant popup around three times a day, saying "System UI isn't responding." I mean in the end it keeps me safe from bad things, because I can reach bad things if it leaves my phone inoperable
This is coming from a child. This is app is incredibly glitchy and it screws up my phone.My phone will randomly freeze and stuff will randomly block without my parents doing anything.The messsaging also doesn't have dark mode and it's incredibly annoying. I can't even begin to describe how slow my phone is because of this app. Not to mention the fact I have zero privacy and I feel so exposed, this app is absolutely trash and I look forward to when you guys finally take a hint and take this down
I mean the only problem with it is sometimes it it gets messed up and everything unlocks, but its rare. And btw, this is coming from a kid.
This app is fine, and I understand why parents need it. but lately it has been making my phone super laggy, and will pop up stuff is blocked even when I'm not on it. it still does it even when I restart. also it would help if you could fix the color of messages because the green is not it 🤮. thank you!
I'm giving it a four star bc I hate that you can't see when somebody is typing and that it doesn't put a bubble up on the screen when somebody texts you like Skype does
Having issues with Google Pixel. If you swipe up to close recent apps it shows the Pixel Launcher App is blocked. There is no App the app list that is called that to unblock.
Garbage can't even open my settings without it asking for the password no matter what I open. Also sometimes it disables me from closing my apps which is extremely annoying. Saying the 1 star is from kids doesn't hide the fact this app is trash.
As I see it this app is useful in many ways but I can say with all confidence it isn't amazing. Sometimes it will stop working and you have to fix it. Which is do-able but really not our job. Also it's not just children making reviews it's parents too. From both child and parents I see a recurring theme. This app can cause distrust. That being said this can be a very useful tool taking control of situation. Please don't get this app this app to "control" your children. That will hurt your child.
this app is horrible, it makes parents and kids relationships drift apart and causes the child to slowly not trust anyone. i dont reccomend this app because it doesnt give your child any privacy and ive also noticed that whenever you go into the pictures, it turns on your camera unwillingly and doesnt let you turn it off. this app is completely disgusting. in the future the child will end up picking up parenting like this.(giving no privacy to the child, not letting the child make boundaries.)
So it's a good app but it keeps blocking my phone at random times, even when my dad unblocks it still blocks my phone randomly and it is very annoying.
I don't recommend this app, there are many glitches & it causes relationships between parent & child to drift apart. It can also give the child a sense of distrust of the parent. It also slightly breaks the phone sometimes.
It closes my phone out at random times and I can't open my recently used apps and I changed my phone time 5 minutes early and my mom doesn't know the code so it makes my phone lock earlier and unlock later
It's awful it won't work and it freezes all the time and when I set the time limit it says cannot do this action
Can't get get app off my phone and it is not safe on my phone and it macks it not work. Still can't remove it. Please helpe
It stops working randomly, and if my kids get a text from a new friend they never receive the text, because their numbers aren't in the phone. We have to un install the app, add the number, then reinstall it. I do like it for everything it does, but it seems extremely out dated and needs to be re-vamped. And the phone lock feature would work on one phone, but not another.
This app works great. I'm 16. I does what its supposed to. The web thing is a good idea but 98% time doesn't work. The uninstall protection could be easily bypassed using a computer via USB. Or using lucky patcher. But all in all it works pretty well. It does have these attributes every how and again when everything goes off all at once.
My mom deleted the app and doesn't remember the password so now i have an app that doesn't let me change the settings on date and time while also taking up a lot of space. I want to delete it since it doesn't do anything except Stop me from changing my settings and take up space. Making another review so someone can help me. So no one can remember the password to the account, the app is still on my phone. I call it an annoying pop up. the little disclaimer about low ratings no longer applies.
I get why my mom makes me have it, but it disables some of the features that are necessary for the phone to function properly. Like optimizing the battery for example. If I cant control my phones battery usage then I cant control the random glitches that some applications have when running on low power mode. Google will start listening all by itself, music will start playing on it's own, it will pause and play when I didnt tell it to do such a thing. This app is poorly designed.
To put it straight, this app actually drains the battery of the child phone its attached to, and slows it down. How do I know this? Two identical phones, same age, just bought. The one without it on lasted 13 hours of playing a video, rather smoothly, while the one with the app barely lasted 9, with frequent interruptions due to it having to buffer. All in all, poor design choice.
As a child who's parents put the app on my phone, the software is far from perfect. I have figured out how to play Spotify and watch YouTube videos while the phone is supposed to be locked. Without a password. The app is constantly messing with other apps on my phone. One time another app was constantly freezing and my phone said "mm guardian not responding". I regularly have to restart my phone because of this app. When there's an update to fix a problem, they always replace it with new one.
