Mnemonic Dictionary - Fastest Vocabulary Builder

Wonderful, but it could be the greatest if some features are added. 1. add the parts of speech 2. Sentence examples would be great. Add this please. 3. Not only 'favourites', add features for different personal lists. 4. Iff possible and needed, add the routes of the words. Then not only for mnemonics, this app will be the greatest among all vocabulary apps.

The comprehensive lists (Barron, magoosh, etc) and overall ability to learn words and then take the tests has really helped me improve on my vocab. Solid recommendation for competitive exam prep. Request feature to disable the animations. Especially in the test, the animations are too slow and break the test taking flow.

Good app, I really luv it. But there are things that seems to makes it incomplete or up to the standard. Firstly, inability or difficulty in re-quizzing the previous learned set of words. Meaning that a user may nt completely learned a set of words at once, so h/she should be able 2 take the quiz again and again and again. 2ndly, no grammar type. So my advice is 4 the developer 2 work and try improving on these sections. Doing these will make this application an A1 among others. Thanks

this is very useful and impressive mnemonic dictionary in play store. it empowers user by giving them the ability to add new words as well as mnemonics, which is a very unique feature. I am very thankful to its developer and at the same time I would request the developer to add more words in it, a option to vote for best mnemonics, and a bookmark option so that we can start from where we left.

cons: 1) Has no dark theme - overall bad UI. 2) Mnemonics are just forum based inputs, and sometimes useless. No option to hide them. 3) The pronunciation also feels off. Only text-based mnemonics. Why no visuals at all? 4) Not a single well-constructed sentence example or secondary meanings of a word for deeper understanding. 5) Cringing mnemonics show up on top. No moderation whatsoever inside forum. pros: 1) Super simple. 2) Works offline. 3) Light application. 4) Flashcard like.

Best app for slowly but consistently learning mnemonics in fun way. But, I'm giving 4 stars because I think there should be a history tab where all previous words are sorted. Daily words learnt are of no use if we don't get to revise it periodically. And the best way to help user, is to provide a history of wordlist learnt before for easy revision.

Your app is awesome. I owe my GRE Vocab to you guys. It would not have been possible without such good mnemonics to remember. It was bit weird for some words. But at the end the app is just perfect. Believe me the work you're doing is making a difference to students who struggle in memorization.

Wonderful app. However, if I search a word, I don't understand under which button the word belongs to. For an example, I searched for ' surreptitiously ' and I found it but I don't where it belongs. Whether, magoosh 1000 or Barron's 333. I can swipe right and left and there are so many words. But the minute I exit, I can't find them. It is not possible to find the word before going through all the available options. Which is quite demanding... Nevertheless, it is an absolute gem of an app.

Excellent app with easy-to-use UI. I think dev team should add example, flash card for each word. Then it will be more useful. Number of quiz or exam can be increased. More exams mean more practices and it demonises fear of words. Thank you.

It's a good vocab app. I especially like it since it brings together high-frequency words of different words. However, I couldn't find the quiz questions impressive. They needs to customise the quiz answer options with more variety and words with nearby but confusing meanings.

Personally, I don't want to share my own mnemonics on other users. It makes me feel anxious especially that I am a multilingual. Not everybody will appreciate the pattern I use to memorize the word since I usually associate it with words from the other languages I know. It's more personal too and by that it means it's shorter. I don't like spending long texts when applying mnemonics. It works for me. Maybe it also has something to do with my mild social anxiety. I want it private.

It's a good app. Though some improvements can be made, like parts of speech. But for a free version it's a good app. The part I liked most that here u r getting all the important lists together, and words also have mnemonics. U can add your own mnemonics too

This is one of the best vocabulary app i have ever used! It's smooth, precise and minimalistic. My only suggestion is "Please add a quiz for my favourite words so that I can learn them easily" And I'm Ok with the Ads but I'm willing to pay for premium membership if it's there. PS: I also had difficulty finding this app as it is named just mnemonic dictionary. It would be better if it's named to "VocaPower" Thanks.

Such an wonderful app now I'm able to memorize vocab very easily. It would be better if you add 1/2 example of sentences after the meaning of that word.Hope you'll concern about this soon.

Best vocabulary learning experience ever .. I tested many other app. But never felt satisfied with those .. but after finding out that one , it's completely changed my mind .. please add some more words . And , also add related funny pictures and sentences with words if it possible .. thanks

Bangal translation in to English... There should be an option to translate Bangal language or any other languages into English or Translation is must become most of the mnemonics are in other languages. Initially I found it difficult to know the quize option or even to slide for next one either you should give a demo in the beginning or add virtual buttons. Otherwise everything is perfect.

Please Change the name in play store. In app list it's Vocapower, in play store it's Mnemonic Dictionary. This makes it confusing and hard to tell people while recommending. But other than that, the app is perfect. It has helped me a lot.

I will give 3 stars because please make quiz renewable. It shows that once I complete a quiz of any list then next time I can't play the same quiz again. Please fix this problem.it would be helpful because playing quiz in same word again again will make masterd the words.please fix this....please please please 😞😞 Otherwise it's a good app.

After update, the app automatically close after every few minutes. Beside this the contents of the app is very useful and easy to learn and can remember difficult words very easily. Try to add creative mnemonic.

I would recommend this app to everyone, who is struggling with GRE verbal. Thank you for everybody who add their own mnemonics for the benifit of everyone. As little suggestion, for the improvement; there are only Bengali and Hindi translations only. If users can add their own translation in their own language it will be more useful.

This app greatly helped me to increase my vocabulary stock naturally. I was struggling last few months but VocaPower helps me to memorize difficult vocabulary with great source of mnemonics. Now I can memorize difficult vocabulary for long term and absolutely with minimal time. thanks developer for this cool mnemonic dictionary.

Amazing work by the developer. I have tried many apps for vocabulary but this perfectly fits my requirement. Suggestions: Add Synonyms for words (Only 10% of them have it) Add sentence or give the option for person to add his own sentence just like adding mnemonic as it will help in learning the exact meaning of the word.

This app is good, but the search bar doesn't work when you are already reading another word, every time when you want to search a new word you need to come back to the main menu and then search, otherwise it won't work, please fix this and also add more words somewords are not available in the app

I am really happy with this app. It has included all the popular word lists in a single app. Awesome. Suggestions (For 5 star): Please add relevant image with each word that will be super easy to remember for long time.

Great app! But maybe you can add the possibility to add categories yourself in order to 'sort' the words. So I can for example distinguish between 19th century words, modern words, street language, etc. Now you can only "favourite" your words.

Great app with a lot of resources. Just wished it had the option to mark where you left the last time. Otherwise a great experience! Also wished it had a no ad version /premium version!

A very wonderful app. Kudos to the developers. One suggestion I have got is that try and make the words in favorite also like the quiz type so we can take quiz with our favorite words. This will aid memory I guess. Thanks very much.

I had searched for many apps but very few showed mnemonics and had a wide variety of vocab from barrons and Manhattan. This app shows you everything you need. Very good app. Must for any GRE top scorerers. Give it a shot and you wont regret it.

Loved the app...extremely helpful and easy to comprehend. Would definitely recommend for gre preparation. Just one suggestion can you add a button to reset the test because if anytime i forgot some words tests would be helpful again to practice, and i have to clear data every time i need to give test
