Overall a nice app for training with random words. The theory pages offer an introduction to 3 good techniques: the chain method, Russian nesting dolls, and the memory palace/loci (the english isn't the strongest, but it doesn't impede understanding) Pretty basic visually, but controls are intuitive and the little reminders to practice each day are a huge help for someone like me who ironically forget to practice as much as I should.
I love it! I actually didn't read up the theories and unconsciously built myself a memorization method! It's similar to the loci technique but I'm eventually starting to build up my memory systematically with the pre-existing methods. It's been amazing so far! It's quite creepy how I still remember some sequences a week even though I just memorized it for just a few minutes but it's a good sign, thank you for this app! It's definitely a game changer.
I'm actually really bad at memorizing. But when I make those individual words and make them a random sentence I can somehow remember all the words and it makes it easier to memorize since the sentence itself can be weird and awkward to hear. I mean I did try reading those individual words outloud and repeatedly saying it but it doesn't really stick to me compared to me making sentences out of it. Though I'm still at level 10, I'm still not sure how this app will help people memorize,
Visualization... visualizing large images which I make as wierd as possible has allowed me to zip through the first 12 rounds so far. I'm pretty happy with my progress and the instructions for getting even better are right here and easy to understand. So is the logic behind this. Very cool and definitely worth while π.
This doesnt help improve memory. This is like ALL of the other memory apps. In order to IMPROVE memory you have to master being able to memorize a specific number of things. When you can memorize a specific number of things easily THEN you move up. For example, if I'm barely able to memorize 5 words moving me onto 6 words before I can easily memorize 5 is not helping me improve my memory. This app would be perfect IF I could repeat each level after i've won it with a new set of words each time.
I love it, I really do, but here's the thing: there's high potential, but it's not quite there. Theory section needs to be rewritten to make the information more accessible. As this is where a person should go to learn to improve their memory and game scores, it should be given more attention. Currently, it is broken English at best. I offer my help to the creator to improve the written words, but if you'd rather not please at least check out Grammarly and consider breaking up the text a bit.
Just getting started, but i think this is awesomeπ My dad says that you always leave room for improvement. Well, i cant think of any improvements you can make, but 4 stars give you wiggle room. I love the challenge. Im stuck on a level right now, trying to find a better way to memorize the list. The app is fantastic!
Really love this game. I just can't imagine having fun in my brain this is just like having cartoon network in my brain, where was this game when I was in school. This game helps me to make a entertaining session in my brain itself and I don't need outside TV series or movies to entertain myself it's all in ourselves. I also love that they made this game with series of levels (easy to tough) and also included the theory and example within.
What a wonderful and highly useful and entertaining app this is for mnemonists! You must already have a rough idea of the world of mnemonics and the various memory systems for this to be relevant to you. Also if the dev makes an app for complete mental training, like for all arenas in the international memory championship like memorising poetry, binary digits, maybe cards and many variations of digit memorisation I would gladly buy it. Thanks!
This is not just a game..... it is so good and it's very helpful because it somehow challenges you to be creative and come up with different ideas of how to memorise the words and I like it.... I really do recommend... really guys it's so amazing and it works offline as well so yeah just get the app and you'll see what I'm talking about ππ₯π₯πβ€
I didn't knew how beautiful my Mind works until I found this app. Mind applies logic to remember words in different ways: 1) It makes a complete Story. 2) Different Cases if 1fails i.e., Different stories. 3) If words are unfamiliar then it applies a weird logic to remember. Overall I am just a witness watching and enjoying, my Mind's functionality.
Pavel, very exceptional idea for increasing brain memory recognition muscles, we playd a similar game where the class sat in a circle and we all had to remember each others names. I failed of course due to a childhood retardedness that never was explained to me. I am trying out your chain link concept and suddenly(pop!) I remember more items than before. I am also going to look at your numbers app, thanks!
Its nice concept but one needs a much larger pool of words in a randomised fashion. The time in game are much larger than what even beginner need. But its worth clearing all the levels once. The methods are described nicely and again something worth going through
Rubbish navigation, rubbish content. There is no button to go back to options or main menu once you're in. The game itself is tedious and repetitive and I cannot see the point of. That's as much brain training as memorising a text. And the "theory"... seriously?
What I like about this game is that, as you're learning within the first, three or four levels. The randomization of the game per level. I especially love the theory section of the game where you can read various theories. This game will will bring organization in areas of my mind that I've been temporarily paused for some time. Thank you to all who helped in creating this game. π³οΈπ―πππ§ π€πππ‘οΈππ π π
It's a really effective memory trainer for imagery/visual thinkers. Most memory and mnemonic methods are designed by and for verbal thinkers (people with voices in their head). This is aimed at bridging the gap between visual and verbal thinkers and it's amazingly effective. I thought I had some kind of memory impairment, but i am just a visual thinker and I don't use an inner voice. People who are verbal thinkers (70% of people) will not find this app useful, most likely.
Good for beginners and gives basic explanation on some techniques. Levels are progressively harder which I enjoy. The words are simple which helps with the visualisation. Appreciate the effort put into the app.
Love this game! It really challenges your memorization skills! I had no clue I could memorize long list of words! I have also begun to incorporate this method into my daily routines to help me remember/memorize important things! 5 stars easily!!ππΎππΎππΎ
Seems pretty dope! I think this can really help me improve my memory. It would make life a lot easier! It's also a very smart move to show ads whenever you score four or fewer stars. It keeps you motivated :p
I love this! At first it got me frustrated as I keep on failing, but I learned the technique to memorize a list of words in short period of time. My nephew who's 9 enjoys it too. Thank you, Pavel for making such apps for memory training, I'm a brain injury survivor. π
Just started, so I cant give a rounded critique but it is an interesting experience, imagining images for words as a way to remember those words as they appeard in a list. Fascinating results.
If there is a running timer to count how much total time I have spent on this app, I can see total time have invested on memory training project. This is great App for those who have some basic knowledge about how one particle of memory and be associated to another particle of memory and how they can be then recalled fast. Here, Faster and Accurate is the better. Thank you Dear Developer.
The idea of the game isn't as obvious as it should be&even the buttons on the display weren't clearly labeled so if I was inpatient I wouldn't have bothered going through every button to see if there were instructions on how to play,or hints about different techniques to use to help w/memorization. So the display&lack of clarity in the objective of the game if addressed, I think can help improve the quality of the game. Also the lack of fanfare for getting it right makes winning not so fun.
