MO Hunting

The MO Hunting application enables Missouri hunters, anglers, and trappers to purchase, view, and store annual hunting, fishing, and trapping permits and associated details, as well as view permits purchased during the previous year. This application will allow hunters to notch their permit and Telecheck their harvest directly from their deer or turkey permit within the application, using an easy-to-use form. MO Hunting also enables hunters to view all deer and turkey which they have previously checked and the associated details.In order to log in to MO Hunting, users will need their Conservation Number. This 9-digit number can be found on the BACK of their Heritage Card, next to the bar code. This is different from the 16-digit number on the front of the card. Their Conservation Number can also be found on any current or previous permit. For more help locating their Conservation Number, users can call (573) 751-4115 during regular business hours, and ask for the permits office, or go to http://mdc.mo.gov/node/5127.NOTE: Effective July 1, 2015, the Wildlife Code of Missouri requires hunters, anglers, and trappers to carry either a signed hard copy or an electronically signed digital copy of the prescribed permit with them while actively engaged in hunting, fishing, or trapping. The signed paper or digital copy of the permit should then be exhibited to any officer charged with the enforcement of this Code upon request, or to any transportation company or postal employee when presenting wildlife for shipment.After harvesting a deer or turkey it is still necessary to immediately notch the month and date of harvest on your permit, which you can now do within the MO Hunting application. You must telecheck your harvest by 10:00 pm on the day of harvest, or prior to being removed from the state, and record the Telecheck confirmation number on your voided permit.

I have had this app for a few years. I love it when it works. most recent has been the login and not being able to add back slashes. I found a way around this issue. go into your text messages. type out you DOB the way it requires (mm/dd/yyyy) and copy it. then return to app and paste in place. it worked for me. But honestly one would think that this should be a problem that could be fixed rather simply by an app designer.

Used to work great. Since turkey season this year is been sporadic on whether or not you could log in or if permits would even display, been a year, still not working, had to use the website to telecheck my turkey. Got a new phone and now I can't even log in.

Unable to login! I am using a Pixel XL and since the last update, I have been unable to login. It sits there spinning, but nothing happens. If I rotate the screen while it is spinning, the process crashes and just goes back to the login screen. Please fix, I don't like having to print my tags. Update 3/27/21: Still can't login to the app.

Can't sign in after using it for years. Put in my info and it just has the spinning think symbol. Deleted app and reloaded. Same thing. Used to be a great app that's now worse than useless since I now have no copies of licenses I've already purchased. Would have given it a 5 star before this point/update.

it used to work well, but now when I enter my Conservation number and DOB, it tells me one or the other is invalid. Pretty sure both are correct. I've had time to memorize them. Ive had one since I was born and the other for 20+ years and have used them for this app the last few years.

Deer season started yesterday, app updated today, now app crashes everytime I open it.. Can't see my permits or telechk anything...please fix S7 Update: reinstalled and now works. Very tired of having to do this with recently updated apps... Especially this particular app during deer season!

YOU DO NOT NEED TO PUT IN "/" WHEN ENTERING YOUR DATE OF BIRTH. I put that in caps to emphasize that and bring awareness to this feature. I see the vast majority of 1 star votes are resulting from this slight misunderstanding. I'm really enjoying the app so far with its numerous features.

Still unable to login. For years, this has been a great app. Recently I haven't been able to see my current permits It just spins a circle... I had heard about the required new update I already had it I assume because my phone did not say I needed an update on it. I decided to uninstall and reinstall.... Now it just spins after I put my login information in and is useless.

Lots to like about this App, but it really REALLY needs a sortable calendar and a calendar view. IOW a hunter should be able to sort by "deer" (to just see when deer portions are), and we need a calendar view to see what's open on any given day.

I would give it a negative review if I could. This is an issue that needs to be resolved TODAY!!! How useful is an app that doesn't work? If I were to kill a deer here on opening day and couldn't Notch my tag because the app just spins when I try to log in, is the game warden going to just let me off with a warning? I think not. This app I completely and utterly useless if you can't log in to notch tags. MDC! FIX THIS DAMN APP TODAY!!!

Update fail: Just downloaded the update and now the app will not open. But MDC said we had to have the update to use. When will this be fixed? Update. Uninstalled then re-installed, app is working but a dialog box pops up saying I need to update.

I have had this app for some time and never had problems but now when I try to buy my permits it tells me my session has time out. I have uninstalled and reinstalled that did not help. If anybody has any suggestions that would be great

this app is amazing checking in my deer is super easy i can do it right in the field before field dressing it. i always have my phone while hunting or fishing so if a MDC Agent would like to see my permits i just open the app and hand them my phone it is a great app. place you can purchase your permits from this app also just have your debt card info ready.

Doesn't work. I got a new phone and had to sign-in for the first time in that device. Once I entered my info to sign-in, it locks up and just spins. I can't access anything else on the page. Sign-in started working again. Maybe they were doing maintenance?

Was having trouble with my permits showing up. Sent in feedback via the app and got a response within a few hours! Turns out the number next to the barcode on the old heritage cards is your Hunter Ed # and not your Conservation #. The app allows you to log in with either one but your permits will only show up if you use the conservation #. The app it's working great now!

Reading People's Comments about birthdate troubles. When you click on the birthday line and the calendar pops up, click on the year at the top, which will open a drop down containing the year you were born. Select the year, then scroll left or right on the calendar to find month, and day. Hope this helps.

Only had the app for 3 days, but whenever I check, my licenses are still there. The hard part was "buying" free landowner permits. And of course, finding an old paper tag with my conservation # on it.

app works very well once you're signed in. MDC please allow manual number entry for the birth date on sign in. It's a real pain to scroll through all the dates to get back to 1986. I'm sure you have lots of users that have the same issue.

It's frustrating to enter your info to log in and then do it all over when you purchase a permit. It is however very convenient for checking in your game.
