MO State Parks Guide
This FREE all-inclusive outdoor guide was created in a collaborative effort between the Missouri Department of Natural Resources and ParksByNature Network®, and the next generation of the app is better than ever.
Powered by Pocket Ranger® technology, the app gives outdoor enthusiasts an environmentally friendly way to enjoy the parks. It contains everything you need to plan a trip to the state parks, navigate them once you get there, and share your experiences afterward.
Newly added features:•New user interface (UI) with a sleek, more photo-centric home screen design. •Photo galleries on each park description page. •A new Explore feature to optimize search capabilities, allowing a 4-in-1 search by location, activities, category, and site name, making it easier to find the perfect recreational destination.
The app still has rich GPS features, such as:
•Advanced GPS Maps, complete with an accuracy and distance indicator, which allow you to access trail data, record tracks from hikes, runs, or bike rides, and view elapsed time and distance traveled. •Easy-to-cache GPS Terrain Map tiles, which ensure that navigation remains possible in the event of lost mobile reception.•Photo waypoint feature allowing you to snap a photo and mark and record the coordinates of plant life, animal species or landscape views. Looked forward to using this app but it crashed/froze right away. Even uninstalled and reinstalled it! Doesnt work 😑
Crashed a bunch. Some features don't work. Hope tax payers aren't playing for this.
This is a terrible app. Slow and gives very little information.
Slow loading, never received registration email, confusing menus, and unsure where to find actual trail maps.
It crashed 30 seconds into first use. That's a huge NO for me.
Keeps crashing, haven't got it to work so I'm dropping it.
Not bad for basic info could be better graphically but is functionable and useful

Giant Cabela's clearance ad cannot be closed, making app literally unusable.
When app opens in can click on find parks then app quits responding. I tried over 10 times. It's worthless if u can't use it
Works great for looking at trail maps but stops working a lot. Pretty much same info you get from the state trial hiking sites.
This app has way to many ads. There is good information but it is hard to locate.
I love state parks and hoped this would help me explore them. Functionality is not there. Ironically, "Explore" function is not even available as I write this.
Stops working everything I try to book a reservation or look at a campsite map. Completely useless.
This app could be helpful if it ever worked. The only part of the app that ever seems to work is the ads. Every time I try to use it, it just stops.
Blinks in and out often. Generally works but takes several attempts to get through it seems.

Fix the Cabela's add that won't go away. It can't be used locks up my device.

This app has problems stopping.
Waaaaay more than just a way to find parks. :) Has gps, weather, videos, social events info, friend locator... All that AND easy to navigate.
Couldn't get it off a Cabela's ad so i had to delete app.
Great feature for reservations and keeping up on programs.
Use it all the time
Like many I downloaded the app and it is a nightmare to use. Really does NOT work. Emailed MO State Parks.
