This is the best so far! I have installed 6 different tape measure apps and they all dont do a great job except this app. It' s amazingly accurate. Easy to use and super fast. Great video tutorials.
The mobile app can measure only DISTANCE and ANGLE aspects. For all others - Area, 3D space, Gradient, Level - you need the MOASURE device as well. The distance measurement using mobile app (Android version) was reasonable though.
Gave it a few years - returned the last one 2019. It has not changed a bit. So sad they couldn't get the technology accurate. This should never be used for anything that matters. From the time it takes to connect to the inaccuracies relating to measurements on a job site, this has no purpose in construction. Even a basic rectangle measurement is incorrect/inaccurate.
Excellent tool for estimating Landscape/Hardscape projects. Eliminates holding pen, notebook and measuring tape. Measurments can be easily itemezed/labeled and saved on the the App. Most of all this tool can cut your time required by 95 %.
I usually just leave a rating without a comment but I'm really impressed with this app. The accuracy is on point and it's super easy to use. The video guides really show you that you don't require an architect's degree to do measurements 👀. I struggled a bit with the app because I didn't follow the instructions, but once I did, I was amazed. Big ups
The app is not a professional tool. The app detects imaginary motion which wastes time and multiple measurements of the same object produce unacceptably varied results. It's got potential and I'll look out for updates but it's not even close to good enough for professional use yet. Graphics look good and tutorials are good too. Please keep developing this.
I totally agree with another reviewer, the forced tutorials are ridiculous. it forced you to learn different ways to measure things, even if you have no interest in that type of measurement. And if you do t do the tutorials, you can't use the app. Ridiculous! I went and got a tape measure, accomplished the task faster then the first forced tutorial. Wasting my time.
Great app, the best I've ever bought since I started in architecture, well done guys, I presented it to my colleagues who are preparing to buy it. The app is not bad either, easy to use, still a masterpiece but, some improvements would be welcome such as the possibility to export only the points when taking measurements and to be able to name these points there. The ability to work and return to a project and continue with it at a later date, as well as the ability to work on multiple layer
Using w/the moasure one, this device and app both completely fail to deliver. The movement is almost never "good enough" for accurate measurement in real world conditions. Each measurement must be done repeatedly to get close to accurate results. The app has crashed 3 times in the last 15 minutes, losing data as I went to save. Pay to unlock modes for my $250 device? Are you kidding? Save money and frustration. Buy a tape, square, and measuring wheel for much better, less frustrating results.
Great application! It of course depends a lot on how good you are at placing the phone accurately and fast, but the average over 2-3 measurements is quite accurate. I've checked on objects that I already knew the dimensions before using it. Plus it provides videos and info on how to use it and it is pretty easy to use anyway.
ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! I would give this less than one star if I could. First of all, they didn't even recognize my phone. It's an LG G6. Like, come on. Then they guide me through a tutorial where I must put the phone down on one end and place it at another. I do EXACTLY as told but out of the ten or so tries only one time does the Stop Measuring button pop up. And to top it off the app makes the most obnoxious noises. I've never been more frustrated, irate, and disgusted at an app in my life!
This is a very impressive app. I'm still testing it out. Some tools are nore accurate than others. The height and length measuring tools are good, but don't find the Space tool very consistent at all. The issue with the Space tool is that my "vertical" movement of the phone with respect to my starting position on a wall seems to affect the end measurement. It is very difficult to keep my phone height at the exact same level when moving my phone as instructed to do so for the Space tool. The Space tool should just take into account my horizontal movement. The instructions should be improved for this tool at the least.
(on an LG G5) Pretty close, but not perfect. Up to 4ft it works great in one step and it's within an inch, but a 20ft room takes 2 or 3 hops / increments. I found that it's more accurate in less hops and when I practically run. (10ft in a single increment). If I go to slow or take more than 5 hops the error approaches 10%, so for longer than 10 or 20 ft this isn't nearly as convenient or accurate as a laser measurer. Seriously amazing for something that's always in my pocket though!
Very accurate and amazing math behind the scenes easily providing at least an eight or sixteenth of an inch, metric options seem to produce mm resolution with minimal effort. Instructions are easy to follow and are animations with real videos. Very useful and fast, I am tempted to buy the Moasure measuring hardware, although it isn't required, because the free app is so impressive the way it uses your phone's gyro and accelerometer to calculate spaces, distances, and other displacements. Wow!
This has a 2 star because of the idea and execution, but it has one flaw that other people have been complaining about (and I want to report has been happening to the Meizu M6 as well) It seems to randomize whether the phone is moving or not - I couldn't get past the setup, and decided to run a test. I put the phone on the floor and walked away from it, so not even vibrations there could cause anything. Still saying it's moving.
This is surprisingly accurate for what it is. I'm getting within 1-3inch margins for 10-15ft long objects. For my phone moving around, that's impressive I'd say.
I just want to measure an angle but this garbage app wont let me. Just sticks at "place at start" and won't do anything further. The tutorials are trash and dont even show this screen. 0/10. Sad I wadted the data on this.
Well so far I think it's working ok on my old Note 8. I guess you can buy some Mossure instruments as well. However, since I don't live in the Hamptons or wherever, while I'm sure they're excellent tools, they're above my security clearance as well as pay grade. I have laser measuring devices. However, this is an interesting concept. & it tries to add in any factors like your case when it's calibrating. I don't think I've seen that b4. I need more practice but it works. And NO ADS! WOOHOO!
I was highly skeptical of this app, but it is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! It seriously must use magic. It seems to be accurate to within 1 cm, even over distances of at least 3 metres. Unbelievable. One of the best and most impressive apps I've ever used. Extremely well done devs! UPDATE (suggestion): It would be cool if you could add an error measurement to the average measurement (e.g. 100 +/- 1 cm). Would make the average measurement more useful in the sense it would give an idea of accuracy.
Pretty Good! I have been looking for something like this which is handy such as my phone and can give me an almost correct measurement whenever required. Good work! I tried to measure my height with it but somehow it doesn't seem to work for it. I may be using it wrongly but all other results were quite accurate. Nonetheless, this app has great potential.
Measured lenght just fine. Tried to measure hight, (watched both videos) placed phone, pressed START and got a very discordant sound. Closed the app but sound continued. Per instructions I adjusted the sensitivity. Same thing happened. Per instructions I again adjusted the sensitivity. Tried again, same thing happened. Deleted the app. Looking for another app.
I've had this for a little while but was confused first time using it. Just opened it up again and the tutorial videos are spot on. Well done with those. Space and object measurements have been really good in my initial usage. I like the idea of taking multiple measurements for accuracy's sake. I also liked that you've even taken my case specs into account. Very polished. So far, so good!
Works ok, just remember to be still for each measurement and move promptly when told to do so. For simple length X width, this app works very well.
So good. Works perfect. Measuring distance and creating house plans has never been easier. Get it. Use. It.
Incredible tool. Works wonders and saves a ton of time for when I'm quoting. Also the customers always think we are fancy. Only reason for lack of 5 star is the device can be slow to connect at times and leave you standing for a minute or 2 waiting for it to connect and go. But it does always connect.
Would not get past calibrate. i tried over a dozen times and it wouldn't get past step 1 of calibration. I've watched the video, in doing it right... it's not working. i have a Galaxy note 8. newest version of Android. I've even tried redownloading. something about your app is not working with Galaxy note 8s according to similar reviews.
Nope. It's difficult to measure a floor to ceiling height when this app requires you to jump up from placing your phone on the floor then to a step ladder and place your phone to the ceiling gently. Without falling and slipping on the step ladder and without turning the phone or changing the phone orientation. I guess it's what I get for the free version of the app.
Useless. It takes super long and many tries to take one simple measure. One has to run behind the phone, it's inaccurate. I still can't understand how someone actually took the effort to develop an app on the basis of such an unbelievably useless concept.
