Aweful!!!! Thinking you can rely on this app?....think again. My daughters cam was frozen and she was actually awake screaming but I didn't hear her until I walked by her room. If the cam freezes you have to back out of the feed and go back in. It doesn't automatically unfreeze itself. Definitelydoes NOT provide a piece of mind. Also buffers ALOT when your trying to load the video and I have higher speed internet. It's the only thing that takes 20 seconds or more to load and/or buffers.
Very nice when it works! Very easy to use, good quality, but have trouble opening the camera footage. The internet it's connected to gets 220mbs and the internet I tested opening from is getting 62mbs and it takes 5-10mins for it to open the camera footage. It gets stuck at 65% and 99%. It would definitely earn and deserve 5 stars if it was quicker. This is for my baby. It's not helpful if I have to wait this long.
May I recommend adding a function that allows the camera to alert when there is noise? I have an infant and sometimes the camera doesn't pick up his motion or instead of moving he cries. It would be convenient if I could get notified when it detects sound. Please please please consider this! I love this camera and I will definitely add a five star ⭐ review if this function could be incorporated! Thanks - Elaina
Nor a bad cam but lags in time. Needs to have a function to auto connect with wifi instead of having to send sound wave to connect. Also need to be able to adjust volume for the music part, way too loud for baby to fall asleep to.
I have a lot of issues the app keeps crashing or stays frozen the audio hardly works. I'm wondering if I connect it without the WiFi it works better. And my app don't have the lalaby feature.
incomplete software, while the cam is decent for the price the PC software seems to be quite generic and incomplete. it locks up or crashes alot and there are no controls built in to the PC software to pan the cameras. As I take My FAMILY and MY security very seriously, the next time I will spend the extra to get what I expect for MY system.
Every time I go to open the app I have to open it several times before it actually will open. I get a error message alot. It says sorry an error ,will exit. This needs to be fixed and it would get 5 stars .
Worked till we had a storm come though m we lost our power. We couldn't get it to reconnect when the power did come back on. We had it for a month. N haven't been able to use it since the power outage. 15 months ago.
Good camera just a few seconds behind.. fair price for what I want it for.. just wish you were able to record everything even while your not on the app to see the recoding later..
I would have given 5 stars but the camera speaker no longer works. I can't speak through the camera and it has only been a month. If fixed I would rate as a 5. Only other issue is not hearing the kids over the ac... seriously can't hear anything but the ac blowing and its not even that loud.
Just purchased camera from retail store. Camera won't connect to app just keeps repeating "place phone near camera" even after sending sound wave. Sound wave never binds. Waste of money and time.
It freezes all the time and then you have to back out and wait for it to load again. And then half the time the alarm never goes off or goes off 5 mins later.
I bought these cameras to be able to check on my elderly mother. I've had them for exactly 2wks and today I keep experiencing issues w/camera being offline. I'm disappointed and may have to look at some different cameras bcs I cannot afford to not be able to see myother when needed!
The camera itself is good but it has a lot of issues of "being offline" when the internet is just fine. If I'm putting my sick kid down for a nap I want to be able to check up on him. This issue has happened A LOT.
Night vision doesn't work very well. Keeps blinking in and out. Maybe mine is just defective. don't know, I know it's not working properly.
It doesn't scan for wifi. You have to enter that info manually. Then it doesn't pair to the phone. Returning for refund.
Night vision is good. It has a 3 second lag to it but overall its a good quality camera.
Absolute and utter piece of garbage. Horrific app and cam. Constantly disconnecting and hands down the dumbest pairing system made. Don't waste your time or money.
Need to do an update. Camera used to work fine but now it's constantly saying it's off line and my internet test speed comes back great.
Absolutely loved being able to pop in & check on my new grandson any time I wanted!! Being many states away & him being born at the start of covid made things very challenging & this helped so much
Alarm is so annoying and music extremely loud but if you don't turn them on...is a nice almost perfect camera....
The camera won't load! It gets to 99% and stops so it's totally useless
Been using it for about a year now. In theory it's great. The Moby cam really needs to push an update. The camera constantly freezes, and skips. And every now and then we get an offline message instead of connecting. My internet is great it's a straight shot to my Wi-Fi there's no reason it should ever have any issues connecting. But it does and for that I give it three stars.
