U need to give email so they can force you to confirm fax while viewing their advertisement on web site. Otherwise fax will not be sent. Small price to send a fax. Most of time works fine. FREE for when u need it. Use view page not thumbnail. FAX=low res BW. Wish it let me retry when fax doesn't go, FREE service

Good: it's free Bad: the free version only lets you fax one page for free (no coverpage). Ugly: after scanning, and hitting send, you have to check your email, then click a link for it to actually be sent. Extra step in the free version. Verdict: I only needed to fax one thing to my Dr so, although it was unprofessional without the coverpage, it got the job done.

First of all by default the program does a very poor job of taking a camera image in converting it into a viable fax. Second instead of allowing you to use the camera on your phone with the features of the camera software optimize the photograph to then send to the application, this application requires you only to use their interface.

Does not work. Forces you to "scan" page through app, but does not "scan." I can take a photo of my page perfectly with built in camera, but since forced to use the nonfunctioning "scanner" w this app, only get totally black scan or b&w stripes of fuzzyness. Junk! Don't waste your time with the frustration of this junk app.

Capture pages only by camera, no option to select from gallery. After capture, image transferred to black n white with horrible, horrible resolution, you cant even tell images from text, thats how horrible it is! Not even greyscale, nop, its black and white! The newspaper image they have in the app photos in Play Store is for sure a photoshopped one. Absolutely useless app.....

Would be great if the camera's flash could be toggled on/off or if it can be, that the feature is plainly visible. Under bright indoor lighting I couldn't get an image that didn't have a wide black stripe in the middle, making the app useless. I'll keep app for a while to see if there is an update. (And I'd be happy to change my review if the app changes.) Otherwise, I already found a similar app that used my camera's flash and sent a flawless fax.

Every time I would try to click the tab to scan page my phone would freeze. I couldn't even back out of the app or press my home key I had to take my battery out. if you are looking for an app to freeze your phone and possibly soft brick it this is the app for you if you want to fax for free this may not be the greatest.

You have to take a picture of the page you want to fax using the camera feature within this app (viz., you cannot get it from your image gallery) but there's no preview - just a black screen. You have to take a picture blindly and hope you were holding the camera in the right place! Whose brilliant idea was that?

FILES ANYWHERE does the same thing but with no "One Fax Per Day" limitation. Not a hard choice. DROIDX 2.2

This FREE fax app has served me well in the past allowing me to send one FREE page per day. Recipients of my faxes have had no issues reading my faxes. I have a new LG Stylo 2 Plus and Android 6.0.1 so until I've used this app with my new phone I will continue to give 5 Stars. I will change it if the newest version with my newest phone isn't as good but I'm confident it will work just as good as before. Also, it uses very little internal storage which is a huge plus for me since apps in general tend to take up more and more space than they once did. Anyway, I disagree with the current overall rating by Google users. It's a great app to have in a pinch and again, it's FREE!

After confirming my email, I was able to send out the fax. It wasn't the clearest but good enough to read. Thank u.

Needs to be able to send a fax from a document on the phone. Not just scanning. I have office on my droid. Would be worth paying for if you could fax

yes you do need your cell phone to take a picture of the document that you are sending, it was very unreadable and dark at first but then just before I sent that I could see an option to lighten the color of the page and then I can see it clearly, then I got a confirmation email that it had worked. thanks

Great idea. And I did send a fax, however it was barely readable. Please fix this or allow us to upload images from our own photo gallery. If this were possible, I'd give it five stars.

You can read or see anything. It's useless. I don't know of actually faxes cause there's no point trying to send cloudy black blotches.

Picture looks like it came out okay but I could never get it to send. It says it sent, but it didn't.

It will not scan ever since I upgraded my phone to s4. I have the paid version too. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling didn't work

I really like because it actually is free to send a fax. I would like to ask if a customize feature one that is better than what's already there if it can be added because it automatically black and whites the picture and most of the time it is in very poor quality and cannot be read.

I was only able to take one picture properly. The camera was distorted after that. Tried several times and uninstalled it.

Made my droid's camera stop working until I rebooted. Also, image quality is absolutely horrible.

Doesn't let me see the image I am photographing. Just blurred lines like bad signal on tv.

I hardly ever need a fax sent and I was away from home and needed one sent immediately. This app was just good enough. I had to take multiple pictures to "scan" my paper because the camera option was horrible. I couldn't even see my paper, just had to click and pray. Since I got the free version I only get one page per day, which suited my needs. I don't rely on faxes on an everyday basis. If you need a page sent immediately and can't get anywhere else this app is okay.

One of the worst apps I've tried on Google Play, totally useless. If rewards were given for fail, the deadbeats who created this app would win first prize.

1 lame fax for the free version and it's crap quality even with a Samsung note 3, you don't need my email.

Works as advertised. Sends emails updating you of delivery status. Only complaint is i wish the pro version could send more faxes. MotoDroid

Kind of shows up black but u just have to keep retaking the picture. Works ok. Not bad. Could be better though. Thanks.
