Mobile ID – Mobile Identity
The App enables citizens to interact with the public Administration and digitally sign electronic files with total security and legal validity.
The App requires the user to register to the service, in order to allow access to the various sections, and it allows three user identity levels, as listed below.
- Registered user level: The user only enters the basic required data. This level allows access only to the unrestricted services.
- Accredited user level: The user has to enter an identity activation code (or CAID). This code is provided by the City Council after the user identity has been verified. The verification process can be performed face to face or via internet, accessing the website www.mobileid.cat with a recognized digital certificate. This level allows access to all the available services.
- Certified user level: This level of accreditations embeds a recognized digital certificate in the APP, which enables to digitally sign electronic files and perform transactions with full legal validity.
Mobile ID allows to securely access websites, mobile Apps, systems and procedures of the City Council that normally require a strong citizen authentication.
The App manages the user digital identity safely and securely, making the traditional technological complexity totally transparent to the user.

I registered some months back, with a different mobile number, and then reset my phone. Trying to get the app working again proved really difficult, as I thought I had registered it on with my current mobile number. Eventually I had to contact support, and they I received a response today, which pointed out that I had registered under another mobile number, that I had to delete my existing account, and once I had done that, reregister. Everything working now and the support was great.
This app is not working fine, i sent my phone number & waiting for 5 digit verification code, but i did not see it via sms.
Useless I've been trying for last 5 days just to receive a code but I haven't received any code until today
I already install the app, but i was not sent the 5digit code to register pls help me out ....
I fill up all including verification code to after that says ....no invalid plz help me

The process of accrediting appeared to be impossible in a Windows 10-run computer. None of the browsers seem to accept the Java operation needed for the digital signature. Never had a problem accreditting for any other service in the same computer. A complete failure. 3 weeks after the problem is unsolved
If you live in Barcelona this app saves a lot of time dealing with City Hall. Make and manage appointments, submit and follow up paperwork, pay taxes and fines, and more.
The process of registering and staying registered it so complicated it ultimately renders the app useless in my case.
I mean, what's this application stand for? Can't even book appointment. Is it real?

I ask for the certificate but nothing happens.
With my galaxy S3 I cannot access to the application error message every time. Please correct this bug

Usual paper fines letter come faster than any electronic notifications. In fact, the electronic ones do not appear at all! USELESS AP when it comes to notifications...
