Then I test my processors I want to see FLOPS (you know why), do it's the only benchmark for me.
Rubbish app. Don't install
Totally bakwas app Don't install it
Thanks you, MSU! It was fun, and I especially loved the ranking references to not just the Top500 systems, but also to the nostalgic old icons (like M-20 or BESM-6). To those who get low numbers - go to Advanced settings and try to increase matrix size. Defaults are set on a way smallish side (in order to finish quickly), and thus they do not allow your device to show its sustained speed. I.e. on my phone default matrix size was 250 and it measured ~80 MFlops. Increasing size to 2000 lead to a ~250 MFlops result. So do experiment.
Could be improved if you allowed the user more options to change the settings. People who are going to download this will most likely know there stuff. I would like an option to set the Q,P,N and NB. Than this would be the best app ever
32 MFLOPS on 4 threads? Something is wrong with this app I have a Tegra 3 (T30L), 32 MFLOPS isn't even enough to run Android.
Judging by low numbers it's a Java port of the linpack algorithm. Not useful IMO.
In terms of algorithm this app would be useful in determining the cpu flops of your android device.
Not using NDK which means it cannot be accurate at all. 8 threads reports <1GFLOP on Exynos 8895 when it would be at least 10G conservatively.
