This app used to work great. I have the new Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. Went to shop for the first time with it. The scan bar box would NOT respond to my touch so the camera would not open. Everyone was clueless at the store. I restarted the phone, reinstalled the app and checked all the permissions. Nothing worked. Extremely frustrating and wasted a lot of time.

Galaxy S22 Ultra. Connected to store wifi (which I confirmed to be working). First item scanned, but no item info displayed; this was followed by a Wi-Fi error. Clicking "Retry" did nothing but make the app reload the error. Completely unusable.

While digital coupons show with products as loaded in the shop rite app they are not downloading and showing at the time of mobile scan checkout causing human intervention. It was all working by showing on the register by the time a CC is used to pay. When the SR helper transfers my checkout to their register they digital coupons seem to suddenly appear. Fix it so that they auto appear just after number of bags needed is entered and BEFORE the payment type is selected!!!...to review them.

I used to love this app, used it every week with no issue on my Galaxy S9. Upgraded to the S22 and now it no longer works. Same problem everyone else is having, there scanner won't open

Terrible App. I have been to 3 different stores and none of them work. Network never connects and when I speak to customer service they have no clue what I am talking about or how it even works. I have tried installing it multiple times, same results. Maybe as Sam's Club how they run their app. Never have a problem with their scanning app. Love skipping the long lines.

I, too, lost the ability to do mobile scan when I got my new android phone about 6 months ago. I am trying to be patient for the fix, but every time I go into the store, I still find myself hoping and checking, if by some miracle, that it works. I loved my mobile scan shopping routine. Not sure a lot of people take advantage of it, and I was skeptical first, but have hated readjusting to "the old fashioned way". Maybe this isn't top priority to fix, but I really hope they get to it soon. 😞

I will never shop traditionally again. This is such a game changer, and saves me so much time and money. Time because I shop and scan, then go straight to self check out. No loading of groceries on the belt and bagging. I save money because I get to make sure I bought the correct sale items! I had no trouble installing it, and using it is simple.

When this app works it's wonderful, which was most of the time. The biggest problem is it's interface with the store. Several times the register wouldn't connect to my scanned list. So the cashier had to transfer on their main terminal. A few times the system wiped my entire order, so I had to re-scan everything. The biggest problem though is upgrading to a new device. I went to a Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra and the app stopped working. Specifically it won't access the camera. All the permissions are set correctly, but the scan button just beeps. An hour of lost time later trying to get help at customer service and I just gave up. This needs to be fixed and integrated with regular app. Two stars for the problems with my new device, otherwise I'd give it 4 stars. As an update, I went back to using my Galaxy S10 and the App worked. So it's definitely incompatible with the S20 5G Ultra. An Email to Shoprite support has not been answered.

**solution works for Android. Clear cache and memory for the App. Them rescan your card at the store and it works again! Thank you!** Used to be great, but cannot scan barcodes on my Galaxy S10 anymore. App is useless without the ability to scan because it can't transfer to the register at the end, even if you manually input everything. Looks like it's been an issue since October. How is this not resolved yet?

I would rate it much higher, if the scanning feature worked again, as when I appreciated the App. It has not worked for quite some time. Do you plan to correct the video scanning feature? Truly, what is the point of a mobile scan app, if it doesn't scan? You say the following, "The ShopRite Mobile Scan is designed to help speed up checkout and... The program utilizes the camera on your personal mobile device (iOS or Android) to scan the barcodes of items as you shop etc..." Please Fix!!!

Great. Just super sensitive scanner. Scans food while I'm walking around. Have to keep phone in jacket while shopping until ready to scan item.

could have been great When I first downloaded this app over a year ago it was exceptional. Then the app stopped letting me scan things with my camera phone. I have tried everything from contacting it through this email to speaking to customer services at the local store to uninstalling and downloading multiple times... it has never worked again in almost 2 years. it's a shame that ShopRite corporate would not address this issue especially during the pandemic one that would be great tool

Doesn't work. Does not automatically connect to wifi, ever. So I have to connect manually. And after each item is scanned, I lose wifi connection. Then I have to manually reconnect before I can scan the next item. I checked, and I have the latest updates from Samsung. I have stopped using Mobile Scan.

The app used to work, now opens but does not scan. I've deleted and reinstalled. Checked with the store and confirmed that my account is active. No one has been able to identify the problem. Also, hard to find stores that use mobile scan. Only one in my area. Loved it when it worked.

Doesn't work. Since I upgraded my samsung phone the app doesn't work. I get a message telling me that it can't log on to the wifi yet when I open settings I see that I am on the wifi So why won't the app work? I uninstalled/reinstalled, emptied the cache everything. NOTHING. DOES. NOT. WORK. I've spoken to corporate of Shoprite they just say they're working on it. That was over 6 months ago. HEY TECHS IT'S STILL NOT WORKING

I had been using this app for about a year & was loving it. Then in december 2019 i got a new android & the scanner stopped working. Emailed corporate & they told me to delete the app & power cycle the phone, then reinstall the app. Have done this several times to no avail. Hubbys iphone works fine, my android....not so much. I really hope this gets fixed QUICKLY, especially after finding out this is happening to others. VERY FRUSTRATING.

Was working great til I got the 10 plus. Then the scanner wouldn't work. I kept the app, but I deleted the cache and data. Next time in it asked me to scan my price plus card, and agree to terms and conditions. Scanner worked and the app is now working like it should. Hope this helps.

Works very well, and surprisingly quickly. Once I got used to beeping everything in my cart things went smoothly. Some of the notification messages are odd; it seems they're pretty much useless and igorable? Certain discounts are less clear than on a paper receipt.

**Note for Android users who lose functionality with a phone upgrade***. If the scan barcode doesn't work clear cache & app data in phone settings and re-scan your loyalty card when connected to the store wifi. It should fix the problem. Excellent app to skip the long lines!!

I am very disappointed especially after reading the last review. I love the app and I have been using it for months now..until I upgraded my android and now I'm unable to select the barcode scan button..crazy though that I'm actually able to input the sku#s manually..but it does n't help at check out! 😪😪😪

Used to love this app now I can't scan anything. Like other reviews I tried to get help at the store they had no clue. Tried once with a small order and keyed in the codes when I got to the register there was no way to get my order to the check out because you have to "scan" the barcode for the register. What a waste of time. They took something good and made it useless!!!

Loved this app when it worked. Worked great for months. But then after the last update I can no longer connect to the store. App tells me to connect to the Shop Rite WiFi & try again. But I'm already connected before I open the app. Maybe a future update will fix it. Until then I will shop like a 'regular' person!

This app was so great. And then it stopped working. It has only worked once in the past 3 months and that was the week they were doing an instore promotion for the app. And now it's back to not working. Apparently Apple users have no issues though??

DISAPPOINTED App worked wonderfully the first TWO times. It never worked after that... Noone in the store had been able to figure it out. My joy was quickly deflated, it truly would have been awesome to continue to scan n go. Please get your WiFi up to speed and this app working!!

My experience is similar to others, loved the app when it worked on my Samsung Galaxy 8. Now I have Galaxy 10e, and everything connects, but the phone won't scan barcodes. Thank you all for sharing, so I know it's not me!

I loved this app until today. An automatic update was installed that is no longer compatible with my phone. My phone is only a year old. Mobile scan should speed my shipping. But I spent an extra 40 minutes in the store today because nobody in the store could fix the problem. Why would you send out an update that disables the app?

Updated, now camera doesn't work. It was working great under ShopRite. They updated. My phone is less than 6 months old. Now the camera function doesn't work. I checked all the settings. Why can't developers ever leave working things alone?
