MobileIron Email+

This is the worst app ever! Where do I begin? It hasn't loaded email or calendar updates for the last three days. The all time worst default setting is the whoosh sounds that it makes when you send an email even when your phone is on vibrate. It's not 1995 anymore...NO ONE wants that feature! Everytime it does an update, it reverts to the default settings, which deletes my signature and reinstates the whoosh. As other reviewers have noted, it drains my battery and my data (500MB in three days!).

Love having access to my work email on my phone. This suite was chosen by our IT team. It serves the purpose well enough. I have a Galaxy S9+ and haven't run into any of the sync issues people talk about -- although I have my phone set to do a self-reboot every Saturday morning. Along those lines, two issues that I pray devs can resolve: 1) When my phone reboots early Sat mornings, as soon as my phone exits DND mode, I receive a persistent notification for Email+ (login certificate approval required). The phone will continuously (not continually, but continuously) trill until I unlock the phone and dismiss the notification. My wife and I don't appreciate being woken up each Saturday morning to the nuisance notification. 2) The most recent update causes a persistent "Email+ is running" notification in the notification bar. This might not seem like a big deal; but, to an OCD personality like mine, who checks every notification and removes it almost immediately, this icon drives me bonkers. It wasn't there in prior releases. Please, please, please remove it. Otherwise, the app provides a pretty decent experience, as our IT team rolled it out to us as end users.

This app is a battery drain. I only use it because of work and recently had to upgrade it. After installing the latest version, my battery drains down in a few hours. My S9 used to go almost 1.5 days on a charge, but now I can barely make it through a day with this app draining my battery. The old version used to go to sleep when your login session expired not anymore. It stays awake even when logged out. Avoid this app if you can.

worse app ever!! horrible! inbox come empty almost every time and you need to wait until it builds the list again (why??) from the oldest to the newest (why not the other way around??. cannot use any other email app (captive market, which is my only explanation for mobile iron success, whoever buys them never use their app only their controls to restrict us, the people who actually use it). 'msg too large' when replying (only text!! really??). browser/calendar app horrible too. help us!!!!!

Woefully bad! 👎 I can't emphasize enough how bad this email client is. Like everyone else I'm forced to use this by my organisation. It is literally the worst email client I have ever used. No email notification bubbles so I receive emails, but don't know about them. No calendar or schedule widget. The calaldar within the app is very poorly implemented, with no alerts. These are ALL fundamental features of literally every single other email client, so make them a part of yours, MobileIron!

This application is garbage. Emails are delayed, and whenever I change my password for exchange it goes bonkers. Multiple notifications at midnight on Sunday, specifically. Also the notification sounds are under the media volume setting rather than the notification volume, which is great when I'm in a meeting and I think I have my phone silenced and then this garbage app announces its existence to everyone in the room. There's also a brand new persistent notification I can't dismiss. Whatever my work paid for this MDM was too much.

If there was an option for no stars I would pick it. This email client is by far the worst email client I've ever used; doesn't load, then sort of loads, then the inbox is empty and it reloads. How this company stays in business is beyond me. This is my third phone I've used it on, and it barely works on any of them. Avoid at all costs.

This app has no widget. Notification / alarm when a meeting is due to start does not function. Agenda view shows you all meetings you have, past + today + future all in the same list without indicator of "today", so you need to look at your watch for today's date and time, then work out which meeting is in the past and which meeting is now / future. No sync control (forced sync now / sync manually when I have Wi-Fi). I have gone back to web mail, which is painful but less painful than this app.

(+) I like the email interface, swipes, and threading (+) Calendar interface is better than Samsung (and some parts of Google calendar) (-- -- --) No widgets.....are you kidding me?? (-- -- -- --) My work contacts are not exposed/displayed in my phone contacts, so all texts/calls to and from work acquaintances are seemingly anonymous (android 9) (-- --) The work calendar is not exposed to other calendar apps...you know...so i can use their widgets (--) contacts app cannot search by phone number

I don't think the app is too bad, it's better than gmail, however when editing a calendar event, one line of text really? it's impossible to edit the text in that, make it a full size box

Frustratingly slow, drains your battery, loads slowly and is generally just terrible. Has a tendency to decide not to work after a few months too and requires a complete reinstall.

I'd like to give it a zero. it occasionally uninstalled itself and IT must reinstall. it cant find a secure connection so it will go hours with email delayed. sharing docs or pics is difficult.

Consistently crashes, phone has to be rebooted for app to open. Delay is receiving emails, does not sync all contacts or calendar events. Very clunky UI

Poor calendar integration, no calendar widget, and just poorly done. Email+ falls asleep and forgets to check your inbox. I've missed important meetings for having relied on this garbage.

This is the worst email app! You get lucky to check emails between crashes which happen literally every 30 seconds!!

Terrible app. Can't ever reply to emails because it just shuts down! Can't believe a company the size of ours would invest in this awful app service with mobileiron... Nothing but below 1 star service

Useless app. Doesn't work. Install several time and always prompt your configuration is missing without any advice or instruction how to proceed.

Cannot even launch the app - it tells me "my configuration is missing" and closes automatically.

Battery drain. Might as well have a land line because this battery forces me to charge all day or risk running out of battery.

Don't like this app at all! I get mail notifications but can't see the emails.

On top of what other reviewers said this thing kills the battery of even a new phone in a day even if you leave it at 100% battery in sleep mode.

it installs 3 separate apps? why? 1 for email, 1 for task and 1 for calendar, why not all in 1 app?
