Descartes Mobile™ extends Descartes world-class routing and scheduling systems to the field, guiding your drivers through their day, and completing the final link in the chain of custody through accurate Proof of Delivery.
Drivers begin their day by reconciling items prior to departing their depot, making certain they have all they need. Upon arriving at their stops, drivers may scan items on and off their vehicle, ensuring the customer gets everything they were supposed to, and nothing they weren’t. If an item is damaged or refused, the reason can be recorded and photographs taken. Upon completion of the stop, the customer verifies all the items delivered, and signs off, confirming the driver’s actions. Additionally, Descartes Mobile may be customized at almost any point within the application to allow the collection of data specific to your organization, such as load quality, surveys, or re-ordering of supplies.

And while Descartes Mobile is guiding the driver through their day, it’s also communicating to Descartes servers, providing operational and customer service personnel real-time visibility into the status of the driver and their deliveries.

The app is great and does what is intended. What is the possibility of adding a language setting that can translate the app text into Spanish? Most of my driver teams speak Spanish and I know this would undoubtedly increase their knowledge and comfortability of use. It is not unheard of for apps to have language settings. Thanks!!

My app just updated. Now I can't see the customers data no more. The customer data was really helpful. Hopefully they can fix this problem. On top of that. When I look at the project distant is not accurate. It will say 40 mile to get to customer house but really it takes about 60 mile

You need to have it to where only the gps is on at points so battery lasts longer. Also, the swipe was updated and seems harder to swipe over.

I have emailed 3 times on issues with there font. They have NEVER responded. So if you have any technical issues dont plan on receiving any help. They did an update now my font is larger. Cant see all of customer names and items.

The latest update (2021.12.08) has hindered my job. It is sluggish AND MOST IMPORTANT very unresponsive. Features were removed that made my work easier and quick. While these features are not essential I would prefer to have thm back. Please resolve the bugs and make the interface and controls more responsive and intuitive. I cannot recommend this app until it is functional again.

This was a bad design choice! When your on the main routing screen with all the stops listed, the enroute block has a green border, instead of a green background like it used to, its hard to tell if your in route, espescially when your phone is mounted away from your face, like on the dash of truck. Also! Im only seeing product descriptions that make sense 50% of the time, it mostly just shows a bunch of random code.

You have to click multiple things to get basic information. It doesn't automatically load addresses into Google maps, to plot a routes. Not very user friendly, or compatible with navigation apps. Definitely adds time to deliveries, and not being able to copy and paste information, introduces human error into the equation.

I purposely use my co-workers device because it has an older build of the app on it. The developers have added several steps to making one delivery, and now I have to submit four times after selecting where I have left the delivery before it will accept it. In short, it's inefficient and buggy, which makes it very annoying.

Please add an option for drivers to force refresh/update the route themselves. The automatic refresh is awfully slow to occur. Waiting 1 hour after calling dispatch team for a refresh is asinine. Sometimes it never works and I have to resort to bruteforce through the route hoping it updates eventually. Please just give add the option on driver side. Using this system makes everything more convoluted and less efficient than it should be. My phone data/ service is fine. The app is junk.

The swiping to initiate stop options is annoying when your a codriver bc half the time you swipe and hit bump then accidentally go into item details. To get to customers details you have too many steps. Items list isnt shown so customers cant check what signing for. When missing a stop what is the picture for? If anything need to be able to type why a customer rescheduled/canceled. It's just not for deliveries but more so trucking dock delivery. It needs options to remove items easier.

What would be nice.... More functionality oh and would it hurt.... Would it really hurt to have [EDIT] (Audible) NOTIFICATIONS on route changes? How about notifications period! This app is so damn tight and hardly gets any updates. How many times do you need to click on a damn delivery just find find out details?? I'm hoping someone sees this and understands this app could use much more user friendliness... [EDIT] I am aware the app shows changes... You have NO AUDIBLE notifications. No settings

My Biggest issue is with the routing I run an area that is at the arrowhead of lake superior and on several instances it sends me up one side of the shore in Minnesota then the App draws a straight line across the lake to Wisconsin instead of routing me back down to the bottom of the arrowhead to take me up the other side of the shore into Wisconsin or vice versa. It makes no sense to log that amount of miles and time in one day they should almost never be ran together. & DATA PiG & Batt killa

I have been using this app for several years. Always challenging to teach new users, but it does a good job. I have a suggestion.... Please block or prevent the completion of all orders and store stops, if timer is less than 180 seconds! My drivers get beat up on this every day and users should not be responsible for this. Just block it please?

1 very easy fix to everyday store complaints!!!! We NEED a start trip without pickups automatically attached!! That way we can do our pretrips maybe grab fuel without the store assuming we are ready for load. It confuses everyone daily especially if the truck isn't parked at the home store for whatever reason. We could then complete the start trip and INPUT mileage then enroute to the first pickup. Then arrive when we are actually behind the store and ready for THE 1ST load. Helps dispatch 2

Why all the return to store stops. I start at store take out one job then return to store for say 4 other customers but every thing will fit on truck 1st job only takes up quarter of one side. So I put back in route to store before I leave store to get all the rest of jobs on trailer and after I say loaded I can't swipe any jobs phone froze .I have to call in times for every job waste of my time. stop adding unneeded store stops

There should be an option to select files from the gallery. My delivery company uses this app and there are too many complaints to add to this review. In short, the developer should really take a look at these reviews as this app could be much better..

I cannot download any other route using routename, the application does not ask me any route name when i click "request route", it simply download the route i am assigned to, i need to download other routes too which i might not be assigned to if the assigned driver is on leave. Can this be fixed or is there a workaround?

Getting use to it....super efficient, way easier than paper work although a paper trail is always good but no complaints only positive feedback.
