There seems to be a lot of confusion about this app, allow me to clarify. There are MANY merchant service companies that use this third party app to process payments. Please stop giving this app 1 star because you are having problems with YOUR merchant services company as that has NOTHING to do with this app. The app works great, just be careful and do lots of research about what company you choose to set up your merchant account with.
Incompetent and horrible customer service. This company is crooked and deceitful. They couldnt figure out how deposit my money into my account, then closed my account for absolutely no reason whatsoever and told me they were gonna hold my funds for 180 days. After which theyd mail me a check. I shouldve stayed with quickbooks
My complaint is that they charge you $1.50 every time you give your customer a refund. Thats ridiculous. In addition to that, merchants are not able to give partial refunds. For example, lets say your customer buys 3 items from you totaling $60. A few days later, they come back and return one item out of three. I cannot process a refund for just that one item. I need to refund the entire order and than charge the customer again for the other 2 items. Its either do that or completely refund.
One of the worst programs ever made. recently they did an update and the sale will go through and then minutes later message - device disconnected charge reversed and you lose whatever you just ran. Just got off the phone with customer service holding for 15 minutes and no one answers. If you can't get ahold of anyone is pretty difficult to get anything fixed.
CROOKS! They claimed they never recieved an authorization letter to pay for additional card readers, so I sent another form, but then they found both letters and charged twice for them. They won't return calls, when you tell them there's a problem they put you through to customer service, which they never answer. We were never able to use them because we've had issues from the very beginning.
If your total revenue sales are under $600 per month, Square comes out to be cheaper. In addition, if your a seasonal merchant, Square is better because there is no monthly fee and no minimum credit card activity. PaySafe requires at least $10 in transactions per month. A business owner could always charge their own personal credit card to meet that demand but its still an unnecessary requirement.
The worst. Constantly have to uninstall and reinstall, or close then reopen to be able to process payments. Never able to see previous sales without having to do one of the above. Always get errors while processing payments... Should have stayed paying higher to QB.
I like the app it's easy to use but editing tips in setting is no good.They don't have options where you can edit the % or the $ amount as per your choice. In that case square pos has more better options.
DON'T USE IT, the worst Mobile Pay you can find to many monthly hide charges the won't tell you when you signup you have to take a virtual class every year or they charge you for it they won't say that to you when I try to cancel they told me I was on a contract for 3 YEARS with out me knowing and if I want it to Cancel there was a cancelation fee for more that $300 dollars. Worse mobile pay app ever, customer service they take a long time to answer and when they answer they transfer u around.
I will not give them 1 star they take whatever type of fees they want to out of your account without notifying you. in november and december they took out like $250 in a "conversion fee and a enhanced security fee along with all of the usual fees. I would highly NOT recommend ANYONE installing this app.I am reporting them to the better business bureau. apparently you have to select a star before you can submit.
Try to log in and states to enter correct information, info is correct. Have not been able send invoices for 3 days and this is the 2nd time in 10 days. Spent 40 minutes to an hour on the phone and they are unable to figure anything out. I will be looking for a different more dependable company to process my cards.
Fist time business owner, terrible services. They kept trying to withdraw unexpected amounts from my bank account, which I didn't have and had to pay my bank insufficient fees that led to almost $400 in total. Definitely do not recommend this service for a small business, or any kind for that matter.
The app requires you to enter the tip before the customer pays. It's incredibly presumptuous to demand the customer provide you the tip amount before you can even get the payment.
I use a stop to take credit card payments. I use National Bank card as the company that processes my credit card payments. So I have no problem with them or this app. Although I am trying to download this app on another phone and it's not letting me
Stopped working on my pixel 4a and 6 pro after update.
Stop. Just stop! Update, update, update.... look my merchant account is used to collect payment. Then....I have to inconvenience my customers to wait for your silly updates. Leave the optional tip screen how it has always been. I am getting less tip amounts with this update. Happy with National Bank Card Services, but not this app.... I get called 5x a month to change my credit card processor. Get your act together, no need to fix what was not
Simple to use and secure. It would be nice if i could edit the invoice numbers to match mine
My complaint is that i was unable to close my merchant account through the customer service department. I had to contact my sales representative and request an account closure form to process it. I requested the form through email and was ignored by the sales representative. 7 days later, I had to call her on the phone and send her numerous emails to get the closure form to fill out. Finally, she sent it to me and my account was closed 3 days later.
dont use this company they rip off they charge your credit card with high fees when i open my account with then everything was good and then after the 3 months they started adding fees everymonth for no reason and everytime i called them they allways giving bs excuses but they never explain where all the fees coming from dont use them.unles you wanna pay over $200 a month that why i cancel them i find another company
complete scam ... what ever the sales person has told is/was a LIE ...they charge a min of $30 a month was told by the person that signed me up they where going to wave the monthly fee .. BS .. been with them for 27 days .. today is 8-27 .. eas just told i am not PCI complaint .. soo since 8-1 i am being charged for each transaction a non compliant fee ... soo paid $70 for card reader that i can not return.... what ever there going to charge me in processing fees etc etc COMPLETE SCAM
This is by far THE WORST iteration of this app by this company. I have to constantly reset my password, and it is just awful. The previous app worked MUCH BETTER. I'm just glad my boss is retiring soon so I can stop using this horrible app.
This app keeps crashing and won't connect with my phone. every time i use auto configure the app crashes and the card reader will not work on my LG V20
The app keeps crashing while I'm trying to add new inventory items and the pictures keep randomly disappearing.
I really wish I would have checked these reviews before I chose this company. I signed up a month ago, after some miscommunication on their part, I recieved a card reader yesterday. I've now had to call customer service 7 times since I signed up. Update: yeah... I hate this company. I'm canceling. They don't even know how to fix the issues I keep having
