***UPDATE: after a week of emailing back and forth with tech, i still have not received a password reset email, they can't clear the email from the system, when i said the app is useless i'll just go back to calling it in, they stopped responding so they do not appear to be working to resolve this issue, or they don't know how to fix the issue.*** Forced to update but it won't let me log in with the old information. I'm not even getting the password reset error. So far the old clunky app worked better....
** Edit 11/13/20 ** This app continues to be utterly unusable. Since the most recent update, the app crashes every time I attempt to use it. I've reached a point where I'm going to be filing a complaint with whatever the relevant regulatory body is because you cannot MANDATE an app is used to refill a script if the darn app doesn't work.
Why replace a working app with something that doesn't work at all. The old one was missing a lot of features but at least I could refill my prescription. This thing, I select my pharmacy from the map then nothing. Doesn't let me enter anything else. I want to select my medication for refill and go on with my life. I want to be able to see when the medication was last refilled so that I know if it is ready to pick up. The CVS app works perfectly. Why is this one so BAD. Uninstall!!!!
Keeps crashing after update., Edit: redsail fixed the issue, seems to be working now. 4/11/22, unable to login. Getting sorry try later message... I loath ordering from this app because of the issues. I will likely be changing pharmacies because of this app being unreliable.
Old version was much more user friendly. I kept the old one and still use it. Uninstalled this version almost immediately. The old version gave me a list of my meds and when they were last refilled.... Very useful if you aren't at home with the bottles, etc in your hand. Despise this version.
EDIT: One of the updates seems to have made the app work now. Now that it's working I like it better than the older one. The old app worked okay, and still works. But whenever I open it it points me to this app instead. Great, a new app, sounds good. Except with this app I can't even log in to my pharmacy, it doesn't appear to work or isn't available. Why point me at a new app that doesn't have the ability to even connect to the pharmacy like the old one did?
Still unable to use this app. I am now connected to the correct pharmacy. Won the battle of password and user. That's where it stops. It cannot connect to the pharmacy. I have spent way too much time trying to get this to work since it came out a month ago. Medications are kind of important. I wish you would have a working app before thrusting it on us. I can get some of the old app to still work. What a disappointment!
The latest version of the app worked a couple times, but now crashes every time as soon as I tap the field to enter a part name for an express refill. Every time. Makes the app completely useless.
I installed this app after scanning the QR code at my doctor's office. The GPS functionality of my phone is fine but this app was unable to locate 8 different pharmacies by name that were located in my city, even though I searched within a 50 mile radius. I even manually located my pharmacy on the map and clicked on it but the app was unresponsive to that as well. I deleted the app.
Update ..app continually crashes,, uninstalled and having difficulty reinstalling it. Just found this as a new version. Not as user friendly as old version, but makes refilling scripts easier none the less.
This app was good before the update. It was very easy to order refills, even if the 3-month supply date had ended. Now when I need a 3-month refill it tells me to contact my pharmacy. I do not like this option, it was not this way in the old version of the app. if I have to contact my pharmacy every time I need refills why do I need an app?
Can't get passed the "Search for a Pharmacy" screen. When I tap to search by miles or by zip code, the app crashes each and every time. The map on the same screen is of no use without a zip code.
Good and bad. I've been using the app for quite a while to refill my prescriptions. The major issue I have is that I can't remove old refills from under my account tab or create a new refill, instead I have to use the express refill option each time requiring to me to input the info every time I need to get a refill on an existing prescription. That's time consuming. UPDATE: Almost a year later and I'll still can't remove old prescriptions. Is this app still being developed?
An awful app made even worse... This updated app is not functional, though it frustrates users in different ways than it's predecessor. Now, you can't view an Rx without selecting it for a refill. Sometimes I just need to view the date I last filled Rx or see # of refills remaining. I don't know why my wonderful pharmacy uses this poorly designed, exasperating app!!
When the app actually works it's fine. I've been trying to log into my account for about a month but I can never log in. It can't connect to the pharmacy.
Every time I try to login it either times out and shuts down after a long wait or it says there is a problem. It is very difficult to use and I have to end up calling the pharmacy to refill. One of the worst apps I have ever used.
Totally useless. Can't login from previous app. Can't register. Says my email that I have used daily for years is not formatted properly. The old app is poor but works most of the time. This one is junk.
The app used to let you log in and refill your RX, now you can only use the express refill. I can take a picture of my Rx bar codes but once I hit refill it gives me a error message and my RX refills didn't go through so I have to call my pharmacy to get my refills. This has been going on for a few months.
Can't use it because it can't verify me because the app can't handle a hyphenated last name. It errors saying last name must contain all alphabetical characters. If I remove the hyphen and leave a space, same error. If I remove the space and have it all one name it says it can't find a match... because that's not my name! Also tried using just the first half of my name or the last half. Nope, can't verify me. How do you make an app with a last name field that can't handle a hyphen? Seriously?
Unable to validate my account or use app. It keeps trying to text a code to my work land line. I've updated the info with my pharmacy months ago but the validation number remains unchanged.
New to the pharmacy that uses this app. Since starting. This in May I have yet to get it to work After emailing it was fixed. Don't know what happened but for first time since May was able to submit rx's. 4 stars because I don't know what is going to happen after submitting.
NOT WORKING! Keeps failing when trying to send to pharmacy. Forced to upgrade from "legacy" app to this piece of garbage that doesn't work! The old version worked just fine!
What crackhead half baked programmer wrote this dumpster fire masquerading as an app?!? I spent my entire 40s waiting for this app to send information to my pharmacy and then I screwed it up again and set it to pickup instead of shipping. There is no way to clean up old prescription numbers as the developers never heard of a delete button. Why eve log in if you aren't going to have the most current prescription number. Don't even get me started on the barcode reader.
Why can't you login in with more than one account per device? Usually more than 1 person in a household and usually only 1picks up for both. My spouse has a flip phone and can't use the app. I have to use my personal phone and my work phone just to be able to refill our rxs. Ridiculous! Why can only the ios version allow reminders?
Everytime I have downloaded this app and tried (3 times) ... It always says that there is a problem with the connection or they can't locate my pharmacy. It's ridiculous and I think I'll just stick with mobileRx!
This new version of MobileRX does not include the delivery option from my pharmacy that was available in the old version. Consequently, it is useless; I must now call every time to have my prescriptions delivered, so why use the app? Dick move on their part.
Doesn't work. Register did not get a email that the register went through. Tried to go on and it tells me that the email is not valid. So I can't get anywhere. Worthless!!
Developers responded quickly to my problems but took several emails. In the end I found out my Pharmacy has switched to a different app. Old review follows. This version no longer finds my Pharmacy. The old version is better.
App does not work! the older version worked great the pharmacy finder in the start up of the new app does not work and there are no work arounds
This app is riddled with bugs and has a sketchy history. When it works, it's fine. When it fails, it fails spectacularly. Seems the developers are trying to do waaaay too much instead of merely writing simple code for simple tasks. For instance, updating seems to be a non-standard protocol. This time it failed to remove the previous version. Last month there were weeks without any working version. As captive users, we have no choice. I wish my pharmacy used an app from a more adept developer.
