Half page turning in full page landscape mode is really useless. You should make it dependent of the real screen used, not strictly "half page". If you need more explanation, just try cdisplayex, this app get it right. Thanks for the latest version, however, half page is still not correct. What I mean is you should make a 1/5, 1/4 or 1/3 page since my screen is 16:9 so with half page, some parts of the page is not visible or it already turns too much.
Excellent app for reading sheet music, good Android alternative to forScore. Page turning pedal work reliably. Trial version is limited to 8 pieces of music, but has all functions. A must have for musicians. Thank you!
I actually use Mobile Sheets Pro, but the free version does the same things, just not as many songs. I love this app - it is easy to make play lists and to segregate the music for the different groups I play in. Another plus is that it is always being updated with new options that just make it better and better.
This is the best app for storing and using sheet music digitally. I strongly recommend spending the money to purchase this app. I almost never pay for apps but this one is worth every penny and then some. It also includes a metronome to add to your practice experience. No need to download a separate app for that. I can't say enough about this app to convince anyone of how good it actually is but it is fantastic!!!
Best score reading app. I have tried at least three other score reading apps and this one is by far the most I intuitive and easiest to use. I love the Import feature that downloads directly from Google drive. I also love the Auto Crop that makes the score fill as much of the screen as possible. Keep up the good work!!!
Playing with the trial version to see what it does. Might I assume, if I bought the Pro version, it could be used on all the devices listed in my Google account? I would need to buy a largish tablet for displaying organ music. Now bought 12" tablet and pro version. App working independently on 3 devices.
It has a lot of great features. I like having the metronome on the screen while I'm practicing and how easy it is to markup music. Unfortunately, it won't work the cuvave pedal I already have. So for now I'll use other options for live shows.
Previously had a problem where the music would not fill the screen. But there is a setting in the display options to fix this, and that makes this an even more versatile app. Really enjoying not having to carry so much sheet music around.
Excellent music reader. We use it on our tablets or on our smartphones in place of lyres and folios when playing outdoors. It is easy to make custom page sequences simply by editing the song and reordering the page numbers. Also, the company offers frequent updates with useful additions & improvements and great customer service. A+
This is a great app for what its supposed to do. Display music. Not PLAY music. You are supposed to play the music. Import the file and you are good to go. Took 15 minutes of getting used to things and then no problem. Its software. There will be a learning curve. Ive got the paid version now. Great app!
Excellent app! Makes organising my music sheets (mainly PDF and ChordPro) a whimp. Finally I can get rid of the pile of books... Small problems and nuisances are quickly sorted out on the forums. Support is great, even though it is a free version. Will buy the pro version to support the developer (and get even more nice features).
While price for the paid version is expensive in comparison to competition, the trial version is a great demonstration, and has helped me save paper from my 28 trombone multitrack video. I am absolutely sold to buying the full version soon. Great interface, and i can take notes on the music
Some observations as a classical musician: - It would be better if the gap between pages could be toggled off in vertical scrolling mode - Actions in the quick action box should be editable - A screen touch option to show metronome options would be useful - A pop-up piano for singers would be a good addition - It would be useful if the tool selection bar in annotation-mode could be moved to the bottom/side of the screen - Library not very classical-friendly
The best sheet music library app. I own it on my tablet, but will not purchase on my phone (for the same reason it is not a 5 star app). When you switch libraries you lose your library settings; most importantly the Title Format and Caption Format . For people who have complex formating for these fields, it is a pain to have to reenter them every time you switch libraries; each library should have it's own settings. This is not to mention all the other settings like display and custom name...
This evaluation copy (limited to max 8 pieces in library) of MobileSheets is the best way to try out all the whistles and bells PRO app can do. PRO version of MobileSheets is the best app on Android to organise and read your sheet music library in digital form (PDF, multiple image files, text files or cord Pro files).
Finally found the best! This app does everything you need for set lists, sheet music, and you can edit and write on every page! Brilliant. Perfect! Better than Apple's Forscore!!!
I bought the pro version after trying it. I gig with it regularly and it works brilliantly. I have it set up on an android tablet via USB into modx then modx to cp4 via midi din. I can make patch changes on both keyboards when each song loads.
OK, so it behaves nicely on following the devloper's advice here, thank you. Yes, this looks good for putting a tablet on top of my piano and I can just quickly swipe the pages to turn. BTW I am not playing "songs". Beethoven's piano sonatas are not "songs".
Up and running quickly. More advanced features required a bit of a learning curve, but not too bad. When I couldn't work out how to do something, Mike's reply was prompt and helpful. Functionality is very good.
tried the free version am I correct it is a one off payment or is this a monthly or annual payment
Excellent, very easy to use and has all the good features I.e loading new songs direct into set lists, easy manipulation of set list order. Great product.
The apps request permission to view contact list which is not needed for the purpose of this apps. Uninstalled. BTW, for many users, midi sheet music apps is far more useful and open source too.
Awesome app for free and would 100% recommend the paid version if you're planning on using the app more effectively. That said, you still can get a lot for free in this app and it is definitely worth trying out.
I really enjoy using this app, it is user friendly and a great way to stay organized on the go! What a paper saver! Is there an upgrade option available if I wanted to try the Pro? Or do I have to buy a whole new app?
Excellent app for organising and viewing tab. Lots of options and easy to use. I recommend the paid version.
I'm considering switching from setlist helper for better library management, but it looks like there is not easy way to quickly import a song from ultimate guitar or something similar. Is that right? For any new song, I have to use some other app first? I guess that would be a big win for setlist helper that I'm taking too much for granted... Next problem i thought I had solved.... Not being able to sort by tempo. You can sort by custom field in the song list, but not by custom field in any other view such as setlist..
