Unable to view any of the videos! This used to be such a good app to support BSL learning!!!!

Can't edit lists easily and hard to use

Great app as videos are much better than pics

no longer updated. other apps now do the same thing better

One word at a time. Boring

It would be great but for a few things. The back button exiting the app is beyond annoying. It almost renders the app useless. It's annoying that you can't just search, but have to go to the letter first. Then once you have found it you can't add it to a list from there, you have to go to the list and find it again. It's also very slow and laggy. A few obvious signs missing too, hopefully they will be added to. Apart from that it's a good idea and a useful resource.

i miss the old website. trying to use it now just brings up this app. still a reasonable dictionary, tho limited in places. to search you seem to have to wait for one of letter of alphabet pages to load, rather than quicker search from e.g home page. can't seem to find a way to save any of the videos to send via other media, like used to be able to.

Used to find it a great app (4+ stars) for checking a sign and recommended it to my BSL class. New version a lot worse as find having to select a letter first annoying, seems to take longer to load video and - worst of all - back button exiting the app is very frustrating. I stopped using it after it changed. Thought would try it on my new phone but still as bad. Only keeping it as not much else available.

This app is amazing. It has loads of words on video and I found it really helpful to learn words in English. Unlike some other apps, this actually does everything that it says it does, including being English (not American) and having over 1000 words that you use every day if you are speaking. It also has words that you do not use every day like 'asthma', 'about to say' and 'magic'. This is helpful because, unlike other apps, conversation does go further than 'this, that, the other'.

Can't access the full alphabet list after H/I. Never used to have this problem but struggling now.

Really useful app! Wide selection of signs and the ability to create your own groups of signs is a great feature! The app is a little sluggish and the ability to search for signs without needing to input a start letter would be good but otherwise this app is great! I would recommend to anyone looking for an app to accompany learning bsl!

The videos not working on it

On the A-Z list I can scroll down, as soon as I lift my finger off, it bounces to the top. I could get past this if the app had a proper search feature but you can only search within a letter. If this resolved then I would probably give this app a 5* rating.

Looks okay, but I can't scroll through any lists (they just snap back to the top). Will send in details by e-mail,and hope it can be sorted some time.

Unfortunately, whilst a useful idea, it is a terrible design. Very clumsy and difficult to use. The signs are also partially obscured.

Was a great app for about a week now can't scroll down the page. Please amend this as did love the app was helpful

Was much better before. The new feature of customising your word searches is a little pointless and seems to have really slowed the search feature down.

Great app, really useful. But it does drive me up the wall that when I press 'back' it exits the app. Very annoying! Please fix this! Cheers

I like this app but I can't scroll down. It goes to "i" and then I can't go below that. It would also be good to have a search feature without having to go into a certain letter.

Great videos. Search function is not as expected. No grouping by topic is a shame. Back button doesn't function as expected either. The signed word is not displayed on screen with the video!! Great content, UI needs those few tweaks.

Great app. Fix the back button please! Also player buttons are over your hands at start of every video unless you go fullscreen. Good for starters.

Content limited to just one source.

Short videos are great way of finding new signs on a need to know basis. Almost withheld a star because scrolling to the initial letter before searching can be annoying and voluntary could be wider... But kudos for the great effort

Far more comprehensive than anything else I've seen, and easy to use too. Two suggestions for updates - the back button on a phone jumps you straight out of the app, which can be very annoying, add an exit confirmation box or make it jump to the previous screen instead. Secondly a "word request" button that links to you (the developer) so you can update the lexicon based on what people want the most, or have found missing, would be useful.

The old version of this app did not work on my new phone, so when I found this one I was delighted. Some signs are regional but are still widly understood. The alphabetical list which then leads to a search bar is handy but I wish there was a big search bar on the home page. Also on my device when I click the back button it exits the app back to the app store page. There is a back button on screen but its the opposite corner to my normal one and old habits die hard. Still a 5* app to me Samsung galaxy s4.

Alphabetical collection of signs. Nice range. Like that you can custom lists. The one thing I'd change though is make the search work through the whole dictionary, not just the current letter

A lot of work has gone into this video dictionary of signs. 4000+ signs. Useful for vocabulary and great for bsl learners. Free, no adverts, straight forward reference. Deserves to be higher placed in results when searching for bsl in Play store.
