App needs some improvements, but it is fine. The car sharing service is Super! I would suggest to add fuel/battery level for Mobility Return cars in the app, so we can know in advance if refill/charge will be needed during the trip (that information is already there for Mobility Go, so I assume that shouldn't be so complicated add it for Mobility Return)
They will renew your annual membership one month before your current membership ends. Please be careful if you want to cancel your membership. It'a very sneaky. You sign up for a trial and to try the service and end up paying 200+ sfr for renting a car for an hour.

Works reasonably well in general. The driving license scanner is useless though. On devices with multiple cameras it selects the first one (usually ultra-wide-angle). With a ultra-wide-angle camera to fill the frame you need to go so close that the photo is dark and out of focus. Had to use an old phone, but even on that i had problems as the app was not able to focus the camera at all. Ended up having to send the license scan by email.
Got suuuuper slow and bugy lately. I have to use the web site more and more, otherwise impossible to use. Getting better, but still very slow. Also, it would be great to see the exact availability be of a car. If the time frame I set is not available it would help a lot to see it's actual booking schedule to be able to adjust....
This review concerns Mobility after it took over Catch-a-Car. The latter was a pleasure to work with. Always available and responsive. As of the day Mobility took over issues were abundant. The app does not work properly. Either a reservation cannot be made at the app gets into a loop. Or a reservation can be made but when you get to the car it does not open. Customer service is busy and there you are standing in the rain. Then trying to cancel a reservation does not work as the app does not work
This app used to work perfectly, but now it just hangs on the loading screen. Sometimes restarting the app works, but often this results in being logged out as well. I then have to go through all my old emails to find the login details. Needs to be fixed ASAP becuase at present I have no means of hiring a Mobility car.
The app is easy to use and works reliabily.
The app decided to jump off the planet and get stuck on the loading. Fully uninstalled and reinstalled the app and same problem persist. Also noticed earlier that the app keeps login me out, which is an absolute pain, as the login and pin are something you can't change. But as this is currently my only access to a car, kinda stucl with this s**t.
Driver's license upload feature seems broken (keeps flickering and reloading and never actually registers anything). Since nothing works without the driver's license, is there a way to add it to an account without going through the app?
Update: i reinstalled the app and it seems to work fine now. Previously: The app didn't load at all. No error message displayed. PS: apparently this was a result of app and settings transfer from an old phone (also Android 11)
For those having issues uploading your permit, try using a different browser as default. I use Firefox which wouldn't work (white screen). I switched default browsing app to Chrome Beta and it worked perfectly. Even removing permissions for FF (having to re-authorize camera use) didn't work. Hope this helps and GL!
Awful. On second use it goes into an infinite loop showing its silly car jumping up and down. I had picked up a car and wanted to inquire on extending by an hour. As I could not do so, they ended up slapping a $110 fine on me
Mobility was winning me over, I liked the service. However, when my trial ended they automatically enrolled me into a year long subscription and charged me instead of asking me if I want to continue. In my case i wanted to continue the subscription, but I did not feel in control of that decision at all. Contacting support i got the full legal rundown saying that they sent an email (spam folder) and some quotes from the trial agreement. - Former Mobility fan.
Driver license photos made in the app are blurry - you have to send them by emails manually. UX of search for available options is not straightforward. You can make successful reservation, even if the driver license is not yet checked, get blocked, call a support and got canceled the registration any way 🤔
before last update it was a slow app, always trying to locate me even if i didn't need it. Now it just freezes at the startup splash screen. impossible to book anything. you better use your phone or the website. this app is real garbage.
I made a reservation via the app and got an error and now I am charged 31.00 CHF but I did not use the service. Another event they downgraded my car and called me later telling me the car I booked was damaged and yet I see it in the parking lot without damage. If you get the car back late you get a huge fine but the other way around you just get a downgrade and a phone call. I will never use their services again.
Extremely slow app and poorly designed. For example how hard is it to show the vehicles around you with their schedules instead of having to put the perfect corresponding time slot that could fit a car......
Terrible! It seems that is a good and a reasonable choice but in the end they charge you a lot of random fees from your ride. When you receive the bill is always a surprise, a bad one.
impossible to create an account with a Swisspass number. do you guys even test your app? text field formatting is terrible, error messages are useless, UI is confusing. sad not to be able to create an account on the go using your own app
In particular the e scooters are super helpfull. unfortunately the app never works, and unlocking/getting scooters to drive often does not work either (iphone and android). such bad management, incredible!
Great service but the new date/time picker is just useless, takes me 5 tries to set the correct time. it would be much easier to just type it in instead.
I like the mobility service, but the app is cumbersome
The app is still based on a WebView creating long loading times and continuous problems. Really bad API... Also payment by invoice, impossible to make it by card automatically ( like "NextBike" for instance ). Other problem, the UX. when checking for a car really repetitive actions to do (e.g. applying filters) This service could be so much better, do something!
