Mobirise for Windows is amazing and works like a charm, but it is also at version 5.2.0 while this is 4.7.5. I can create pretty nice sites with this Android version, which I can then continue editing just fine on my PC. However, once I start working on my PC, the file is more or less useless when trying to use it again on Android. The blocks overlap with no way to see behind them nor correct them (in my case the first block hides the header, and no amount of editing makes it visible again). I could almost overlook this as I wouldn't really be editing my header on the go like that, it would just be the body I would edit, however, I cannot navigate to different pages, I can only stay on the home page. That being said, it has been nearly 3 years since the Android versions has been updated, and it while this works well, I find it more than a little annoying I can work on the same site between two machines. If you're going to work strictly on your Android device (Lenovo P11 Pro tablet in my case) then you'll probably be fine, but it does seem like they have almost forgotten about updating it; and being unable to work across platforms is nor than a little annoying.
This is a good app being that it allows me to work on my site anywhere and offline too but however, the app is counterproductive because... 1. It doesn't have the ability to upload a website to the host so the website can be live. 2. Images always disappear when I export site data, preview the site or upload site to disc. If these issues are solved, this would be my favorite app of the year.
Most of the app doesn't work on Gallexy tab s. Block buttons are always in the way when editing the menu. New pages that are created cannot be edited after they are created. Touch them and nothing but drag shows up. When previewing the page it doesn't work right. I have had this app on my Tablet for more than 2 years, after every update I try and use it. It has never worked worth using.
While i like the desktop app, it's kind of concerning seeing an error message from google like "You can't sign in to this app because it doesn't comply with Google's OAuth 2.0 policy for keeping apps secure." It's not very comforting knowing an app i use to create a website with ssl security fails to meet google's requirements for security.
What an amazing app...if it only worked. Purchased all £139 of this platform, created a full web site in the Windows version of Mobirise, imported it to this app, looked great but could not access any pages & it failed to publish. Created another site to test pages & other functions, once created, the pages were inaccessible. Big shame as the Mobirise platform is really brilliant. A lot of functionality is not there yet or does not work all of the time. Will update this review as updates appear
The app is good to actually see what the site will look like on a mobile device and make edits. The cons outweighs this. There is no way to make spot changes and publish them. Also you have to download the current version of your project each time you want to work on it, which makes sense but is annoying. Adding the ability to publish changes only from the app would make this 5 stars for me.
Hands down the best, easiest and most flat-out-awesome mobile site/landing page creator there is. Made a landing page for my site and the conversion rate jumped 29.8% in the first 2 months. Looking forward to seeing what else I can do with it! Thanks Mobirise!!
Ive used Mobirise to build one page sites and landing pages before. It's certainly a great user friendly builder. Super easy and fast but having problems with this app. Just won't open sites, not functioning well, which is a shame.
One star left because this is old version and is not updated while for windows it has been updated earlier ,this update is very necessary fir andriod or it is useless in it.And when we sent andriod file to windows means pc it did'nt open there.What will be the issue?Morever the app closes directly which is fatal one wil be woking and when button pressed little everthing goes.
Been using Mobirise on my desktop for some time now, and thought I'd give the Android version a try. A disappointment. Last updated 17 May 2018, that's an indication 🤨. The 2 stars are for trying.
The app is out of date, and it does not have a link for third party extensions. Kind of worthless for my purposes, since I want to update my websites with this, without third party extensions that is impossible.
It surprisingly works pretty much as well as the desktop version. But it is obviously much harder to use efficiently. I would love to see some updates, like version 5!
The app lacks some features in comparison to the Desktop version, but it provides pretty much everything one needs to make a simple site! Like it!
Mobile app is functionally crippled and buggy compared to Desktop version, which is a shame because this would've been a great tool to have on the go.
It just doesn't work on Chromebooks. Bugs are prevalent in every aspect of the version on the android app store and support is pathetic.
update? Will there be an update like the pc version? and will there be a way to upload the site to ftp? this would be nice to have, and some but fixes like when u save a template or something like that to the right side of the bar, u cannot delete them afterwards. Cheers -Goldy58-
There is small improvement possible. What happens when i not select any module n press back key the app get exit. Without saving the work. Please create alert there to save yes or no confirm alert. To avoid unsaving the work.
Dear Mobirise Team, Thank you so much for this tool - specifically the desktop version! There are many website building tools that claim to democratise web design / web development but this tool truly does make creating a website possible for anyone. Well done! I am truly excited about access to such an awesome tool. I hope this project receives the financial support it needs to exist indefinitely. You guys really are doing something good! Cheers, Jonathan
When back key is pressed the app is closed. Its Annoying.. Plz add a function to go to previous page on back key.. Or pop up to ask whether user want to close the app. Thanks
Yes it is very simple but agonisingly slow, it might just be my tablet but it could be present on all devices. I only recommend this if you are desperate for a very easy builder
I got this message while sign-in "Error 400: invalid_request You can't sign in to this app because it doesn't comply with Google's OAuth 2.0 policy for keeping apps secure. You can let the app developer know that this app doesn't comply with one or more Google validation rules." Please fix ASAP.
The reason why I gave 4 stars is, This app or the PC software should be able to restore the site you build and saved it on your device... All I mean is the software or app should have a restore point to restore the files you save on your PC or phone.. Thank you
Good app but the issue is it destroy activity page everytime i go to another app and it waste my time, every minute and every hour because of its bug and errors
I don't think many reviewers realise how difficult it is to make a mobile app of a web design desktop program. I think you've done a great job so far
You add the add-ons.... They don't show up. I use this on PC and it works fine. Android version is rubbish
Off to a great start.... Selected image open mage library select box colourfull bubles go back and fourth hit cancel nothing happens in fact whole appjust crashed have to uninstal is it worth reinstalling?
Great almost like the desktop version but a little sad .. not able to open files saved from the desktop in the app .. Is it possible ??
My mobirise is saying error on login. "windows 7" I've tried the latest version and also version 4 but it's saying an error
Didn't work. I got a warning when I installed that says it was designed for an older version of Android. Then I was prompted to login. I clicked to login with Google and got an error message. I looked at the "help" section of the Mobirise website and there's nothing about the Android app. This app has not been updated since 2018 so maybe it's out of commission.
