Update: FIXED! The developer worked with me for several weeks to resolve some licensing issues related to multiple Play Store accounts and mobile vs WiFi access to the Play Store. All issues are now fixed as of v2.0.0.7. Thanks Mike! Original: I upgraded my license, for a fee, so that the app will work on all my devices. 24 hours later, the license was not transferred over to my other devices, and my original license reverted to "None"! My second device accesses 2 Gmail accounts, and caused licensing problems as the app couldn't correctly determine which account to use! I contacted the developer, and the problem was fixed a few days later (v. 2.0.0.4). Good job by the developer and his team! The only negative, is that I purchased a lifetime license for $10, and had to upgrade this license for another $1.49, but a brand new license is only $2.50! Great for new users, but not such good value for those of us who bought early.

At least put on only paid categories. So we don't waste time.

I don't want to deal with licenses. I want to pay a one time price

Jak. R. Aug 4, 2016

Paid 9.99 for a lifetime licence the app quit working tried to reinstall lost my paid license.

Cheaper to smash my mobius and buy a Runcam2 with included app. Dev's attitude doesnt inspire me to put my hand in my pocket. And in reply to the author, if you are intending to make a profit from your no doubt many hours of labour, filling your customers feedback with replies telling people to go write their own app if they are not happy will not help invite others to invest in what is meant to be a lifetime licence. Good luck to you.

As a 20 year professional software developer, I dislike criticizing other people's code; having said that: All I wanted this app to do is to edit a text file for me on the fly. ("SYSCFG.TXT"). Video preview would be nice. I even heeded the warnings from other reviews and the author who actually gave a link to a *specific* OTG usb cable after arguments were made that it required some kind of magic USB cable or else it wouldn't work. Having purchased 2 of these cables (which work fine with all my other computer/phone apps) This application still doesn't detect the Mobius and hasn't done a thing. Developer: thousands of people would pay a dollar or two for an app that works. Open source this and ask for help where you need it. Obviously an application like this that likely uses some low-level USB communication code would require testing on MANY devices; this is where the community and open source will benefit you. Are we really expected to continue to pay a licensing fee with the hopes that "some day" it might work like it used to? Community: share the sentiments. If you're unhappy about this, don't complain to the developer, let them know that we *want* this to work.

Dont bother with this app its now nothing more than a money grabbing junk app.

The latest update with the licensing is very confusing. The license screen shows multiples of the same thing, there is no clear pricing. As others have pointed out I don't mind paying for software but not when I can't even get a clear view of what I'm paying for.

Worth a few buck but current pricing is ridiculous, absolutely Not worth it!

Not a fan of the multiple app crashes on my Galaxy S5 or the complex licensing. But I still love Mobius Cams and their quality. Used this app a year ago to test angles of view of each camera rigged to the outside of an airplane and loved it. Would be great to have it back the way it was; much simpler IMHO. Will update if conditions improve.

The USB cable which came with the camera does not work with this app in my experience. I found a short USB cable and used a otg adapter which seemed to solve most issues. On live view it would still often disconnect. I had changed the setting not to draw power. Seemed to disconnect if I moved the wire. Will look to get a direct USB to camera cable to see if this helps. Credit to the developer for their work.

You sir are greedy. Hope someone else out there makes a free app...

Jer. R. May 29, 2016

Used this app on occasion to change settings on my dash cam. Dev recently added crazy licensing to get you to pay for the app for every device it's used on. I'll happily pay $9.99 for the app, but not per device. Dev's circular reasoning of not changing the system because the system currently exists is not convincing. Uninstalling.

Kur. B. T. May 28, 2016

Since I already paid for the camera I cannot pay again for software. The hardware needs the software to work properly and at the time of purchase this wasn't a app so I cannot now

And. M. B. May 25, 2016

Way too expensive. Edit after developer reply: Still a really bad idea. So basically I have to pay $9.99 per device. Even worse than I thought. I use two phones and a tablet....and I need a license for each of them? Sorry. Not happening. Uninstalling. Here's your 1-star.

Chr. B. May 19, 2016

Your camera is great however there is no way I will be paying so much just to use a app. Uninstalled !

Ped. P. May 23, 2016

Subscriptions‽ No, thanks

bry. s. May 1, 2016

I see you say a large number of users told you to use subscription system, but many more seem not to like it. I would give it a go but also have to subscribe and cancel if unhappy, too complicated. I think it would be better if you gave people a chance to try without all the complications. I will uninstall, if the trial system changes I might give it a go. Like other users I don't mind paying for a good app but subscription is also not my cup off tea.

1 star for the license; far too restrictive & complicated, if you withdraw the app so much for lifetime license. BUT 4 star for the app. I would pay to have it certainly, as I am sure others would but with all those restrictions and over the top conditions, worse than MS in my opinion, at least I can upgrade my PC and still run the same programs. You insist that what you are doing is what your customers want, are you sure you've got it right? Offer the app at a reasonable price without the OTT T&C's and you'll probably increase your revenue, people asking you to republish the app is good, holding them up to ransom is not something they asked for I am sure, going by he reviews.... The above is my personal view, not anyone else's!! "Despite whatever stunt you and your 1-star buddies are trying to pull,..." No stunts and am not in league with any 'buddies'. The comments are independently submitted!

The UX for this app is pretty bad, but I've always overlooked it due to the features. Now that it's a $10 lifetime cost I will start looking for alternatives. I would expect maybe $1.99 yearly and $5.99 lifetime, for all devices not just one.

Joe. B. Aug 27, 2016

Pay 10 bucks to use my $40 camera? Lol. This app was free for the longest time. Enough with this license garbage. I'll just use my PC to change my settings now. Uninstall.

Ale. M. Apr 22, 2016

I understand you want to get money for your hard work and this is a lot of work. However to implement this licensing method is a terrible idea. I would pay for the app if I can install it to all my supported devices... An expensive license tied to a single device is not going to work for me. Uninstalled.

Joh. C. Apr 14, 2016

Worked great. Now they want me to purchase a license. No thanks and that is why I am out. Would have paid for it but whole licensing thing seems very dodgy to me. And the agressive manner in which the developer replies to people is most worrying. Obviously not very serious about being a developer.

Mar. L. Apr 10, 2016

And a subscription ringing in at 10€ p. a. - sorry, it was edgy at its best, now is getting kicked out of my phone

Fra. B. Apr 11, 2016

Bad idea to start charging.

Wer. A. Apr 7, 2016

The free app now requires a insane licensing fee. Definitely not worth it. Uninstalling.

great app. thank you for bringing it back.
