MoboKey - Smartphone Car Key App
1. Access: With MoboKey as the driver, approaches the unlocking zone, the car is unlocked. As he enters the key activation zone, the car starts. Frankly, I love this product. It's great at a third or less of the Viper solution and no cloud involvement. The company has been VERY helpful. The most important is that this will NOT disable the wheel lock. You have to remove the harness from the ignition for tha app to work 100%.
It doesn't work on proximity call support and they said the app needed to be updated. Said I'd have update on Monday and still haven't received it. I also had to buy a converter to get this installed my car is digital which all new cars nowadays are, the Mobokey is analog which cost me an extra $200. I wish this was disclosed when I ordered.
I had a few problems with the alarm but the company did everything they could to help. I eventually got it all dialed in and am very happy with the alarm. I recommend you find an installer before purchasing because most installers won't touch it because they don't know the product. If you don't hook up the relays properly it will cause damage to the module so make sure to check diode direction. Keep app locked open and battery optimization off or engine may shut off while driving.
My car will not start after sitting for 15 minutes and can't figure out what's going on with this. This is becoming a disappoinment and headache!
Horrible just horrible. The app keeps crashing can't connect been stuck for over 2 1/2 hours. Diego is great though he has been on the phone and checking in on me. The customer service is great but the app is so so so horrible. I just want to go home stop crashing on me please.
was told that it isn't working for me because Android phones have weak Bluetooth signals compared to iPhone. I literally was standing right next to the car I was trying to unlock and couldn't get it to connect.
Best alternative to DroneMobile and Compustar! This app requires no subscription, and uses Bluetooth to authenticate. The range is about 200 feet in clear open space and 50 feet from in a building.
Bluetooth connections issues everytime you leave the car to far or for a minute. When you try to pair, it disappears from the list and ask you to reconnect multiple times
Nightmare App...Run! Didn't work at all. Missed my dentist appointment, and now I have to wait until next month to get my braces removed. Never once paired with my phone. They claim that they're trying to fix the app, but they've been having issues with it since 2020.
Great product and easy to use interface. My only advice would be to add an option to add multiple owners.

Works as listed... need an additional scanbus module to connect to a 2020 Ram 1500.
No idea you had to purchase $159.95 dongle! Nothing about this is mentioned.

I'm touring around Alaska in a rental. I think it was an decent thought but I have run into a few times that I couldn't leave the car because I had no service. Makes it hard to adventure if you can't turn the car on and off.
