MoboReader - Novels and Fiction Stories

The stories are good, and you get to begin them free. That is the good part. The bad part is whether you earn or pay for coins they disappear immediately due to each "Chapter" costing coins. There is an option to disable autopay on the coins, but it doesn't really help as the settings must be disabled for each book and you must click on the book to change those settings. Autopay will deduct again. I hate feeling taken advantage of, so it seems inevitable that I will have to delete this app.

I like the content but the app looks terrible on my Pixel 5. The bottom line on pages is constantly cut off even if I shrink the font down so I am left guessing what the last line is. The top edge of the app where the back arrow is at is under my camera so I cannot tap it, and there is this random white gap at the bottom of the screen when I am reading a book where there is nothing. Would love to see improvements made to the UI to fix these issues. They make the content unreadable at times.

EXPENSIVE!! MORE THAN PUBLISHED BOOKS. It is really expensive. I got 2,500 coins for about 25 bucks. And I'm barely half way through one book. If I want to finish it I will need to buy at least another 20 dollars worth of coins . That's way more than I paid for my best selling books, with no grammar errors. I like the story , but too overpriced for what it is. Download wattpad. It's way cheaper.

App became very disappointing. Updates and changed points and rewards system. I spent a few years collecting points to redeem a high reward, once I collected enough they change the app altogether so that I cannot redeem the package I wanted. Then I didn't get to use the points yet and they basically expired all my points. Chapters are way too expensive. Can't even purchase with the free coins you collect. And even if you redeem, the chapter locks up again because of errors.

Down load this because of an ad for a book that seemed interesting. This sight is not free as it claims you have to watch ads or buy coins. Now watching ads is not an issue but they only let you watch 3 a day. I was going to buy some coins BUT when I went to see how many chapters I would need to unlock I would need over 40 dollars worth of coins and it still would not be enough as the book went all the way to 384 chapters and was still NOT done but waiting for the next chapter to update.

this app's books are okay, and it has a free point system, but it has this infuriating "unlock next chapter" feature that automatically takes my points and applies them to the chapter AFTER the new one i haven't been able to unlock. why would i ever want this??? really very annoying if i'm honest edit: dropping a star because the books increase in price as you go on and it's incredibly annoying to read them. it also self- promotes through annoying popups

Very much expensive and you cannot owe it. Its like wasting your effort to get free coins from playing the ads and yet after you purchase, several days later they will locked it up and tell you that the chapter is not for free! What!!!! After what you have done. Not worth it.

I'd collected lots of points... it set to expired without informing. To unlock a chapter costs about 30 coins which is equivalent to 150 points. You need to watch 10 ads to obtain 150 points. For a package $10 will obtain 1150 coins which can be unlock about 40 chapters. Thus, a book of 400 chapters will cost $100. Extremely expensive, so disappointing and waste of time.

This app is a bug, need to a fix lot of things. There is no option to turn of the auto unlock next chapter or the running. It's really devastating. I lost so many coin for this function.

Books here are good. But what is the use of plastic food, you can see that the books are interesting, want to read, but the make you watch hell lot of ads and give you points only. Points that don't give you coins (with which you read books) >90% of the times. Disappointed. please change your policy and give more coins.

Way to expensive. Can buy almost 3 books for the price they charge just to read 60 chapters. The stories are never ending so keep that in mind. Good if you wanna continue reading the same story forever. After awhile it (too me) seems like the story just keeps going around in circles.

I gave a review a few days ago. I guess they didn't like it because I can no longer find it! Also, in less than 24 hours, all my unlocked chapters have been relocked! One good thing is I did a web search and found the novel for free! I will be uninstalling this once I find the book I started on another reading platform. I can't believe others who wrote today, what is happening to them! I'm glad I didn't buy any coins!

I've been thinking about deleting for a while now, because it was good when I first found it right before pandemic started, but now it's just an overpriced waste of time. Points are harder to get, and free coins is almost not worth the effort to earn in the digging for treasure in app game. Also, majority of the chapters that I have previously unlocked, are now locked again. It's just not worth the amount of coins they want to unlock again, so I'm letting this app go...

If you don't mind losing your money it's a great app. The chapters unlock by themselves and they say it's a feature that can't to changed one you click it one time but honestly I don't remember clicking that option at all. I really am not loving this app at all.

Was trying to read a book they have and already paid $20 for it.. and I have watched the ads to get more coins and even done my daily check in.. they need to have it to where you can buy whole book for one price. I don't mind spending money on reading it but I'm NOT going to spend $100 to read one damn book

VERY EXPENSIVE to unlock chapters & most are less than 2 pages!!! Unlocked Chapter after the one I needed Unlocked! Bad spelling & grammar. Even had a character name as Jane instead of Janet! Had to reread wondering where new person came into story. Novel IS good, but chapters could be combined & not over 300-400!!!!! Complaints to Developer have gone unanswered...

Very disappointed with the app, very expensive books, some so badly written they're unreadable and once you pay over the top for some books your left hanging as they are incomplete and not updated. Very poor, don't bother, better ereaders out there.

Apart from the books being super expensive, i love the books. Not explicit and safe to read. However!! I bought a $9.99 bundle that was never added. The FAQ's advised i wait and so i did. After waiting i mailed to enquire after explaining and explaining i was told first that i had them. When i sent screenshots of my receipt and my purchases, then i was told about free coins that expire!! This would have been a 5 but i need this sorted asap!!!

review time 👏👏 one of the benefits of reading MoboReader novels is that you get to learn and improve your English as you enjoy the story😉😀😁(well thats if you are reading in the English language) my English vocab has improved a lot, fluent and actually enjoy the language more. it's not just about the storyline, it is also about self-development. Acquiring a skill that will help you in life.😉

It's ok, I wouldn't say more than that. There are places for improvement, like if let you let us start a book, plz let us finish it too. If you'd have worked on those little points, I'm sure everyone would rate 5 start. But, still, preferable. Nice app. Thanks ReadNow!

The stories are good but the app is really slow. Moving from one chapter to the next takes a long time and it's really frustrating. Also, could you add a download feature so one can just download the books to read offline without distraction? Thanks

The book I started was good, but it is too expensive! I have already paid a lot a of money for enough coins that I should have finished the book. But in order to actually read and finish any book they expect you to spend at least $50 to $80 dollars for one what a rip off. Save your money!

Ross is crazy expensive. You can purchase points or coins.. Whatever..... The chapters are a few pages long. I spent $40 the other day to " unlock chapters" I like the book I'm reading but I'm not sure I will be able to finish it it's costing me too much money.

Started reading a book before syncing email. As soon as my email synced lost everything and rest to old account. 🤯 Update: Attempting to get assistance with this app is pointless. To reach an agent is like running in a circle with no end.

Application costs way to much, didnt realise their was a exchange rate, spent $29.99 they took $47. Didnt get close to 100 chapters there's 280 chapters in the book I was reading. I was really enjoying the book but not worth the money. Sad I wont get to finish the book. 😔

It's turning costly to costlier. Earning points are so low that won't able to buy more coins either. Even those games "Treasure hunt and wheel" Only there to eat points. Even everyday sign in free coins value is reduced. I won't recommend this app to anyone anymore.

I bought 2,000 coins with 800 free for $19.99. Got me 17 chapters!!! Customer services doesn't answer. After looking, my coins were never applied to my account. I was charged, shows the purchase on my Google playstore payment history and my bank. This app is a rip off and stole my money!

You have to pay well over 70 dollars a book. It isn't worth it. The grammar is Questionable and you can get full books from a store by published authors for a better deal. Don't waste your time or money!
