MOCA Minute™

stopped working. can't even login now. was working fine until a few weeks ago then it wouldn't give an entire question, only the answers. frustrating since you only have a minute to answer once it starts counting down.

The app used to work well. Since the new year it has stopped working. I am trying to uninstall and reinstall to see if the app will work again.

Does not work at all with Android Q / Android 10. App has not been updated for Android since 2016. It should be removed from the Play Store as obsolete / unsupported.

When will the app be updated. No update since 2016. Strong work moca. Obviously my moca dues are not being used for this.

The app will just shut down mid question. It also doesn't save the last question result if you exit.

Don't bother. It doesn't work and they are unresponsive.

force closes all the time driving my % correct down unchanged for months

A 1.8 rating and last update 2.5 yrs ago? One might assume they've given up on the app.

Initially didn't work... Reinstalled fixed things. Issues: 1. There should be some notice telling the user when a password is entered incorrectly; 2. It would be better if one didn't have to scroll down to click "submit" on EVERY page; 3. Hitting the back button should exit the app: Informing the end-user to proceed to the next question only to find the same response is not the solution! Overall, good first start. Notifications directly to one's phone might be a nice addition, but ONLY if optional. Update (10/15/2017): Works smoothly, no apparent bugs, reasonably good interface. Would still appreciate not having to scroll down to click submit on each page, but it is a minor nuisance to deal with. Update (12/23/2017): 60% of the time the darn app doesn't load questions and says to go online to get questions (when already connected to the internet). 20% of the time, when questions load, only the answer stems load without the question, making it impossible to answer without guessing. C'mon... Put some effort into making a quality product. We already pay enough fees for this!

2016: It's shameful that ANY professional organization--well funded with my dollars--would release an app that completely and totally fails in its basic function. Basic QA testing was clearly bypassed. Edit 2020: worked pretty well for the past few years after updates. I coudn't get it to work this year...because "no questions available." What that really means is you need to pay up to get the questions.

Cannot log in. I tried my email as well as the ABA ID and the correct password numerous time but not even able to sign in. Also Uninstalled and reinstalled without success. Using galaxy note 3.

Whenever I try to start answering questions I get a pinwheel and then often get a message about needing to go online for questions. The phone is on LTE and no connection issues.

This app is very convenient when it actually works. Half the time, however, it is unable to present new questions. The app says to go online to get new questions despite having a stable connection either via WiFi or cell. Because of all the issues, the app ends up being more of a time waster than a time saver. Unacceptable, particularly considering how much it costs to enroll.

Honestly this app is a gigantic piece of junk. Frequently times out during questions and then counts then add incorrect. The website based questions are just as bad. The ABA should be embarrassed to be charging us for this.

Super convenient when it works. Just got a question with the choices, but no question stem. No option to report it, so just have to take the miss. Not appropriate for ABA to maintain board certification on buggy software, especially something that is paid for.

Very buggy app. Was working but now it keeps telling me to go online to get questions despite me being on a stable internet connection.

I use an android phone. There are significant formatting issues with the questions, making them more difficult to answer, and in some cases, impossible to answer.

I enter my email or aba ID with password and nothing happens. Why do you bother announcing this app when no one one the aba has bothered to try it out.

Much worse then the iPhone app! I have to click 10 times for the question to come up. So frustrating! I don't think anyone is updating this Android app. Full of bugs!

Can't log in, can't recover a password, and no support available from Raleigh, NC.

Did not let me sign in, simply froze

Can't login, even after uninstalling and reinstalling. Clearly not ready for prime time.

App has been improved. Questions/answers are now saving appropriately.

Works sporadically

App used to work, now it crashes immediately whenever I try to open it. Edit: uninstalling and reinstalling fixed this issue.

Most recent update purportedly "fixed defects" but instead broke the app. Now it won't even open. QA on the app does not seem very professional.

I will change to 5 stars if they can fix the app. At present, it fails to advance the progress bar for your correct answers, and does not properly tally them into the correct percentage of answered questions. Please fix as soon as possible, I would prefer to use the moca minute app.
