Mock QTS Skills Test

Our aim is to provide the user with the best chance of passing the Qualified Teacher Status Skills Test. The areas needed to be covered are divided into individual parts. This allows you to focus on the areas you need to develop. The majority of the sections come with practice sessions and a test. The test offers the user the chance to judge their ability. At the end of each test the user will presented with their score.

The application is split into two parts; numeracy and literacy.

Literacy:

The spelling sections has a library of over 500 words, many of which have appeared in past QTS Skills Tests. The user can choose to practice continuously. The user also has a choice to complete 10 tests and be provided with results at the end of each one.

Our punctuation section is designed to allow our user to correct mistakes with ease. It will boost confidence and familiarise users with the structure of the QTS skills test. We offer a total of 10 different extracts the user can work with. In the near future, there will be an additional 40 extracts provided.

The comprehension section offers the user practice on over 50 extracts. The practice section is designed to improve the user’s ability to read, focus on themes and retain key information about the topic. The user can then judge their abilities by attempting our tests. There is a total of 10 tests which will stretch the user’s comprehension skills, increasing their chance to pass the QTS Skills Test. The test includes true and false questions as well as questions asking users to match statements which are supported, implied and so on in the extract.

Lastly, our grammar section is designed to improve our user’s English grammar. The users will be offered over 100 questions to practice with and a total of 10 tests, which will be graded to help users judge their ability.

Numeracy:

The numeracy test allows users to practice their mental maths skills under pressure. The user can choose to read or listen to the questions. There is an option in the settings which allows the users to add extra time if they are entitled to it. When users feel confident, they can take up to 10 tests. This can help them understand what level they are working at before taking the QTS Skills Test.

It is important to note that we are in no way affiliated with the Department of Education. This application is made solely to help users develop their literacy and numeracy skills, and to improve their chances of passing their Qualified Teacher Status Skills Test.

A good app overall, a few bugs such as not saving your test scores in maths and wrong answers. But nothing major to stop me finding the app useful. Passed both tests first time, which believe me I never thought I would do.

would of thought practice test showed you what areas you need to revise more on in numeracy rather than just keep giving you questions. doesnt stop! well been doing it for nearly two hourse and its still going. dont know hiw many i have right really. that is unhelpful

It has some math mistakes and I got confused. Plus sometimes the spelling audio is not the same as in the question.
