MOD Pizza

Overall a pretty good app. Functions as expected and I've experienced no bugs or glitches that effect my orders or payments. I would really like to see an order history feature (unless there is one already, I haven't found it so it'd be nice if it were more accessible). Also, the whole design could be a lot better. The red text is hard to read on top of the light grey patchy background, especially because all the fonts are small. Pictures of the food would be great too.

Mod Pizza food? Fantastic. The app? Not so much. Push notifications can only be all or nothing, no disabling marketing notifications, and the app is pretty barebones in terms of customization on the amount of toppings, so if you only want a little or a lot of a topping, only on half if you're splitting, etc you have to go in Disappointing especially when compared to apps for most pizza chains

The app works, mostly, but it is missing some really basic pizza features such as EXTRA CHEESE option, second cheese option, medium size, large size, and Sicilian. It also really needs some simple convenience features like the ability to save favorite pizza setups, actually use my favorite store instead of making me search every time, the ability to see menu/pizza options without going through the ordering system. Though, since there has never been any response to criticism, I doubt they care.

Poor quality app. The text is incredibly small and a similar color to the background. It loads slowly and they do not have a customer service number to try and correct a wrongly selected item due to their poor design choice. I would recommend using other apps or go through doordash so if something goes wrong you can get your money back.

Needs to improve. The interface is extremely clumsy, especially for changing toppings on a pizza. The background is a static image that the interface just kind of floats over, so that's super ugly. Choosing a favorite store doesn't seem to do anything, since you still have to search for a store when you order something. Also, it seems that points round down, as a $9.77 order earns 9 points, rather than 9.77 points. Looking forward to future updates.

Seems functional, could use a lot of UX work. The noisy-splatter background on the ordering menu makes it very hard to see the text. A cleaner background would help, as would graphics or pictures of ingredients. Also, I tried to edit my "add more" toppings and it seems like it lost all of my prior toppings. So I had to start over. It was frustrating enough that I just decided not to eat Mod today. The rewards part works reliably. The ordering is still feeling a little half-baked.

Hardly works. Deleting a reinstalling doesn't change if the app works or not. Restarted my phone with no change. I would use the app once a week if it worked to order and get rewards. Since it hasn't worked I haven't been back. I don't plan on changing that unless the app changes. I really enjoyed the app too! That's the worst part. It worked very well for ordering and making modifications. Just really wish it would work as designed.

Terrible app design. There were multiple topping options missing (at least for the location I go to) and the "special instructions" only lets you type in about 40 characters. So, not only do you have to remember certain toppings, off the top of your head, but listing them can also prove to be a challenge. One star. You'd have more luck just calling it in.

You really need to fix the "reorder" functionality so that it's easier to make changes to an old order before placing the order. Also, the app restarts or at least deletes an order in progress when switching to split screen mode. This is super frustrating, especially when I'm trying to reorder an previous order with a few changes and I just wanted to make sure I got all the right toppings.

Incredibly frustrating when you go through making an order for four pizzas only to find that the location you selected is too busy to take your order. You only find this out at the very end of the ordering process. THEN if you want to change the order to a different location, the app makes you reorder everything. Why you can't just change the location to the order you already made, I have no idea. Every location seems to have the same ingredients as the others. Like I said, frustrating.

Favorites do not work AT ALL. 1) They keep the store location and can only be used for the same location. 2) Generic error messages that usually say an item is unavailable 3) If a SINGLE thing is unavailable, you can't place it in your cart and modify it... you can't use it AT ALL 4.) It doesn't remember the names of people 5.) You can't modify a favorite. Every time I order, I have to do it completely manually and it wastes a LOT of time.

UI/UX leaves much to be desired. I had 2 coupons, and when trying to add the 2nd one it said I could only have 1 coupon. Ok, no prob, but if that's the case I'd rather use my 2nd coupon then because it expires first. But oh wait, there's no option to see/modify/remove your coupons - it just says "discount" near the total price. Missed quite a few edge cases here.

So hard to order. I almost gave up to eat somewhere else and next time I probably will. When I make any selection, the link gets lighter so I know I tapped it, but it just won't go. I've tried quick tap, press and hold, and everything in between. Have to press everything five or six times to get anything done. Not worth the effort.

Touch delays and worst interface ever. Plus, when you want to edit it doesn't keep your selection and makes you start over. Simple fix would be storing selected items into session memory and recalling it when edit is needed. I hate redoing the order for family members who can't make up their mind and needing to restart the pizza order process. Plus they removed pineapple from the list of toppings, my wife loves pineapple on pizza.

Love Mod Pizza...HATE the app. The app is very well structured and is easy to navigate. The problem is that once you have created your pizza or salad, the buttons you need to click to add an item to your cart and process the order have to be pressed multiple times before the action is completed.

This app has steadily gotten worse over time. Even though it asks for the street address and then the apartment or unit number second it always switches it in the delivery information. Furthermore, whenever it's delivered somehow the address gets completely messed up between the confirmation and actual delivery. IDC if it's in DoorDash or the store but either way it's frustrating to the point where it's not worth having that option. MOD should just hire their own delivery drivers at this point.

Great app, except ypu can't use your rewards through it. I order through my app every week or two. No issues with it getting my order correct, or applying points. Perfect! However, the low stars are because once you earn rewards you cannot use the app to order with your rewards. A warning pops up saying you must be physically present in the store to order using your free pizza or salad reward. That totally defeats the purpose of the app (ordering ahead).

has some issues that reduce functionality. emailed the dev before writing this review so maybe they will fix it. you can use it to order pizza and skip the line, but cant use the rewards you earn unless you order in store. then if you try to reorder or order a favorite, it gives you an error to choose a size, but there is no field to put a size in when reordering. so you have to do a new order every time.

Less than impressed I thought the point of apps was to be convenient & to have the FULL menu? This app doesn't have or do either. It doesn't have the full menu which doesn't make it very convenient. Ended up just calling. Much safer way to make sure I got the correct pizza's.

Needs following improvement Add Easy, Normal & Extra option for each topping. Currently there is no way to mention extra topping. Instructions field is too small. Add an option to have some of the sauces on side vs on the pizza. Allow half side option for the topping. Without this I have to order over the phone.

Meh, It works ok, but there could be some improvements though. The reorder button would be nice if it would just add the items to your cart and then you could edit the pizza. Having to recreate the entire order just because the store doesn't have 2 packets red pepper flakes is dumb. Also, when I worked in pizza we couldn't just not take an order because we were busy... thats pretty lame, maybe the est time ASAP should reflect the actual time expected to take, not some random number

Love love love MOD Pizza but the app needs a lot of work. lost all my points and a free pizza reward. Very disappointing. Also frustrating that you cant use rewards when ordering through the app. Thanks for extending the redemption period but it doesnt help if points keep disappearing. Im pretty sure i lost significant points early on but i couldnt be certain this time tho i checked yesterday and the points expired today i thought it meant i could still use them today. nope, just gone.

Easy to order pizza with but that's about it. I just got so sick of the CONSTANT emails and push notifications at all hours of the day and night. There's just no need for all that from a restaurant app. I've unsubscribed several times and turned off notifications several times but nothing works - they just kept coming. Will not be reinstalling this. I don't care enough about Mod pizza to get this barrage of communication.

It's an app that does what all the other rewards apps do. Simple enough, only problem is the points and expiration. Where if you get enough points you automatically get a free pizza but it expires. Choosing when to spend your rewards would be an improvement.

It is a bare bones-nothing special rewards program. No sign-up bonus or anything. A little dissapointed in how the points work. Best deal I've seen so far is buy 3 get one free. Still much worse than other coupons out there.

They advertise SUPER FAST when you use the app. Ordering ahead adds an extra 10 minutes to your time. DONT USE THIS APP to order your pizza. Just wait till you get in store. The only reason to use the app is for collecting your points, and you just need to scan your reciept for that.

First time using the app. 2 of the 3 pizzas were correct, one was wildly incorrect. Also delivery was 30 minutes later than quoted, with no updates. Food is good, but I'm not sure if I'll trust the app again.

Worst app. You can't clean favorites. It magically removes toppings you have added to order. Can't change location of previous order you want to use if your near another location. If you want to edit a pizza you saved you have to start over. You can't just add Remove a topping.. the list goes on and on

Easy to use and navigate. I will change to a five-star if you make one update: if you try to select a saved order but one of the ingredients is not available it will not let you use the saved order (with the 86ed ingredient removed). You have to completely re-enter the entire order.

This app is trash. You can only save favorite orders to a specific location. If you change the location, it erases the whole order and forces you to start over. Idk what the developers were thinking.. Clearly, they weren't.
