This app for android is awful. Constant freezing and force quit. Filter settings are messed up. I selected women's tops > all tops, and it showed 16 pages with tons of short sleeves for many pages. Then I tried to filter by just medium and short sleeves and when I applied those it mostly showed long sleeves and only had one page. That's either an error of categorization of the products, or there's a problem with the filter settings. I found these issues within five minutes of installation.

This review is solely based on the app's UI. Having to log in everytime is frustrating. The new filter/sort options are lacking as I can no longer filter by color or size. Only options visible are 'Trending', 'Type', and 'Length'. If there are other options I wouldn't know, because you can't scroll down and see them. The back button doesn't work properly either. I'm just disappointed, because I used to love finding new things and this has hindered my shopping experience greatly.

I use to love the Modcloth app, I would browse the new arrivals regularly. Easy to use, fast and reliable. After the app update, a lot was changed which was fine! It looked great, but it is so incredibly slow. Looking through things is a pain, It takes about 10-15 seconds for every item to load. Then when I click a size it takes another 10-15 seconds to load and heaven help me if I clicked the wrong size. A lot of times it freezes while loading,I'll miss it but moving back to the website.

Looks pretty, is very technically flawed. It doesn't keep any specifications you make (every time I enter the app I have to change it to Canada, and it's like 12 clicks), and even more annoyingly, when you press on an article of clothing to see it close up/alternate views, it comes up blank. You're better off using the website (but only the desktop version).

This is app is great...when it works. I would rate it higher, but it is constantly crashing and not working properly. It logs me out everytime I leave the app, and whenever I try to "love" something to add it o my love list, it always brings up an "error: no connection", despite having no actual problems with my connection. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, the app is up to date, it just will not work anymore for me, which is really upsetting because I love Modcloth. :(

I love Modcloth as an online store, but the app is always down. 80% of the time I try to open it, it shows "Error: No Connection". I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, restarting my phone, updating all apps, and cleaning old cache and history from my device. I'm disappointed in the app experience. When the app works it's easy to navigate, but it's rare that the app is even working.

The app used to be all right! The last update or three have rendered it useless. Opening the app, you get to look at the page for about 15 seconds before an error fills the entire UI. You can't navigate away, you just have to close the app. It now sends push notifications, too, which are worthless because you can't look at anything in the app! It's a real shame, I've bought things using the app before, but it's impossible since like...April or so?

This app badly needs an update. It used to work fine, but right now any time I try to like an item or see my love list, it tells me I have no connection whether I'm on wifi or using data. It is incredibly frustrating and almost unusable. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing the app to no avail. This happened once in the past and when the app updated everything was fine. But I've been dealing with this for over a month now.

I love this company and the products they sell. However, it has been well over a month since i can actually successfully access the app without uninstalling then reinstalling. Looking through the most recent reviews, I know I am not the only one experiencing this issue. I wish this issue could be resolved soon, browsing through the new arrivals is one of my sleepless nights' pastimes.

I have to second the issues raised by other app users - the company is awesome, but the inability to do just about anything in the app when there's a "error: no connection" message staring at you is the height of frustrating. Plus, if you try to bring up the website instead on your mobile device as a workaround, it'll redirect to the app, even when it's still broken. *sigh*

Edit 6/13/2021: I literally can't see search results anymore. Back to an unusable app. Buggy, great when it works but that isn't often. Can't favorite anything (full internet connection but still get a "no connection" error when I try to do anything.) Please release more frequent updates. Edit : I have not really bought from ModCloth since last August, when the app took a major nosedive. This is 100% because of the terrible app. It takes 10+ seconds to load each new page. This is ridiculous.

I'm having the same issue as K.L. described below. Mobile and on the website viewed on mobile, product images won't load when clicking onto a particular product. I can see thumbnails in a list of all dresses, for example, but if I click on a specific dress it won't show images. This has been going on for months and uninstalling and reinstalling the app does not help.

Site & App won't load product pictures. How can you shop online if you can't even see more than a thumbnail of the item you are interested in. I've been waiting months for this issue to be fixed, and honestly they are just loosing buisness as I won't buy anything until I can actually view the product. Such a disappointment. *I've uninstalled and reinstalled loads of times. It isn't just the app the website doesn't work either. There is definitely something wrong with the coding.

I have been a loyal Modcloth shopper for almost a decade, but using this app is a very poor experience. Most of the time I cannot even log in or save favorites, but it's gotten literally unusable so I'm finally leaving a review. I can't even check out or select an item without getting an error that no product can be found. I have to now exclusively use the browser desktop version to purchase from Modcloth, which usually means I'm going to use an alternative that has a functional web experience.

This app is honestly not worth using. It takes several seconds to load any page change, and several more seconds to load something as simple as selecting a size before adding an item to the cart. The website is much better, though they deliberately hide functionality on the mobile version to encourage app usage. A very irritating feedback loop 🤦‍♀️

I love ModCloth and I prefer using this app to shop; however, I have noticed a few things not working correctly. I cannot see my whole wishlist. It only shows the first few items then acts as if it's loading the rest but never does. Also, the new arrivals are no longer in the order they were added so I have to scroll past items I've already seen to search for the newly added items. This is very frustrating.

Not working at all - as soon as I open the app I get a 'wev page not available' error message :( - - - Edit: It is definitely the most up to date version that I have installed, as I thought it might fix it to delete the app and reinstall it...but no luck! Edit #2: I deleted the app on the above date and re-installed it today after being notified of your comment, but still no luck, sadly. Same problem as before, I'm afraid.

The colors under the thumbnails don't show or are the wrong number. After clicking the thumbnail, with some clothes it'll display the color options and then they'll disappear or just don't show them at all. On others, the thumbnail says, for example, 4+ color options and it'll have 2. good otherwise. edit 5-19-19: still experiencing issues with number of color options.

App is a nightmare. Only works on wifi, if it works at all. I've uninstalled it twice and now I can't reinstall it. For what their price point is and ridiculous shipping costs you'd think they throw some of that money into their app. And they need to stop using the USPS. Your purchase is out of style by the time its delivered.

The app doesn't work, and hasn't since the last update; it displays an error code when I open it. Given the # of people citing this as an issue, MC clearly doesn't care because it has been a month since the last update. Side note: while you can pull up your own wishlist, you can't search for anyone else's. The only way you can get access to someone's wish list is if you ask them to send you the link--- this completely defeats the purpose of a wish list.

I am getting spammed. I get between 10 and 20 emails throughout a day. And there does not seem to be a way to control it. I could not find settings anywhere on the app. I could not access my account beyond viewing past purchases (no way to edit my info that i was able to locate). I tried the Modbot chat which was a joke. Tech support is non existent. The chat offers to redirect you to stylist or customer care neither of which seem to have anything to do with the app.

This app is missing several of the features that are required for a Modcloth shopping experience. I am very dissatisfied that I cannot view product views or see size charts for particular items. I like to do a lot of my shopping on apps for clothes on breaks at work and such and I haven't been able to do that with Modcloth in ages. I can't believe this all hasnt been updated since Nov 2020.

I prefer to use the app on a larger tablet (Tab S7+) so I can see the styles better. I can do that, but the app really needs to support LANDSCAPE orientation. This one change alone would prompt me to use the app more often. I love the styles ModCloth offers, and they have been helpful and affirming many times over since before the beginning, honestly. But purely on an UI basis, I'd love to see the app itself do more.

So my last review is now getting slightly changed. Unfortunately I'm not changing the 1 star. The filter buttons are not working. almost every time I close the app I have to completely uninstall and reinstall it because it says, "Error: No connection". EDIT: the app was doing well for a while now it's doing the same thing again. :(

Nice when it works but frustrating how often it crashes or gets stuck loading pages. Not to mention the nonsensical links at the bottom of every page where you can download the app you're currently using. Overall not a terribly pleasant experience to use it and would recommend using the website instead until the app becomes less buggy.

App is soooooo slow. Everytime I click on an item it seems like it takes forever to load. I tried browsing the store but got so frustrated by this poor app that I uninstalled after messing around with it for 10 mins. They should really fix the bugs becuase they lost out on my my business and maybe others as well. The old app was much more intuitive
