Modern Air Power - Modern
In this release of Modern Air Power there are 21 scenarios that give you the opportunity to learn about air operations from Air Superiority to Air Mobility. You command a number of different modern aircraft such as the F-22, F-35, B-2 stealth bomber, CV-22 Osprey, and E-3 AWACS. You face modern enemy aircraft such as the Su-30 fighter under the control of an Artificial Intelligence opponent.
This free release of Modern Air Power gives you the chance to learn the interface and get familiar with how to manage advanced air combat. Other versions of this game engine include releases covering historical air wars from the age of the guided missile.
Modern Air Power requires Android 2.3 Gingerbread or later and 512 MB or more of RAM. While Modern Air Power will run on many Android phones, the interface is best on tablets with a screen size of 7 inches or more.

Excellent, love games like this, only thing I don't like is the restrictions created by the lack of missions, everything else is perfect. Also have some trouble catching the hypersonic aircraft on the second to last mission.
Things to add: Scenario editor which u can add a squadron put how many planes in that squadron put how many squadron u like(no limit) and add a squadron of a different plane. Mission merger u can merge any mission with any mission New maps like: japan phillipines Australia etc New missions in the new maps Units to add: ur own air defence command node radar and an enemy who attemps to destroy those and EA18G growler F111E aardvark B1R rocket lancer and experimental planes Shoot down dark sword
I like it but I wish I could control and learn how to play

Needs a scenario editor, or can you choose between the coalition or the communists.

Worth scratching the surface - very thoughtful and satisfying theater-level strategy sim, that despite simple graphics really brings modern air capabilities to life. This was the first really satisfying strategy game I have played in a while.

Excellent, challenging, straight forward, doesn't mess around with superficial bells and whistles. If you're an armchair general like me this is a perfect app. Light on memory, light on battery, no special permissions, simple to learn, hard to master. Great app and it's free, can't get any better then that.
Pls create an app that combines Modern Air Power with Modern campaigns especially in the Vietnam war where aircraft is used for CAS (Close Air Support) and SEAD missions. It would be great. Tnx
My game is stuck on the victory screen from the 1st mission. Restarted the app and phone but nothing
Its fun but its missing a function to make your own scenerio , ive seen this done with naval combat but its really laggy , i would love to be able to make a air combat situation with this game , it just feels more like a training sim for a larger game that doesnt seem to be there , but its still fun and worth the try.
My first foray into this type of strategy game and I find it very addictive. I was a huge fan of Falcon AF which is a flight Sim with a great dynamic campaign. Think of this as only the dynamic campaign. A very engaging and thought provoking piece of entertainment.
This is amazing and you should make more one that's not all about flight school this game is just amazing and all the others
I have no clue as to how to complete the naval ops because of the planes. Please send help.

I can't wait till a full air power game comes out. I have never had a bad experience with any of this guys titles. I also own both modern warfare games and one panzer title. All good stuff
Sure, the interface could be a little better - and the ai a little smarter (raptors flying off after enemy ac when engaging closer targets would make sense!) but its overall a great app and truly different to anything else I've come across in the play store. Looking forward to more content that I hope is to follow and the opportunity to wage some serious air warfare!
This is a great game. It very realistically portrays many of the key elements of air combat. The only complaint I have is that it is very short, but since the game is free and appears to be a test of this game engine on android I really can't complain much.
Great game .used to be a sim designer in the air force myself. And this game is the best I have played on a phone keep up the great work
It's a good game idea, but on my N5 it crashes all the time. Mabey it crasches because i am using ART. It would be cool if you fix it.
Nexus 7 This is the kind of serious wargame I've been hoping for since I bought my Nexus tablet. I love this game and look forward to future release. Hoping for a mobile version of Modern War Squad Battles. Keep up the great work Mr. Tiller.
Its a nice and refreshing Modern Air Power game. Could have a better tutorial and could have a evasion mechanic when you get fired on. Although I give it 4 stars due to lack of mission editor, more maps, if not the entire world, and more aircraft. I enjoyed all 21 missions its given me, and Hopefully more is bound to come if the developer worked on this again.
