Modern Campaigns- NG Plain '85

This is a paid release in the mobile Modern Campaigns series. You should first install and play the free Panzer Campaigns and Modern Campaigns apps by John Tiller Software to become familiar with the interface and ensure that the app runs on your device. This release includes 14 scenarios from the North German Plain '85 PC game where you play the Warsaw Pact commander in 5 scenarios and the NATO commander in the remaining 9. Note that this release has larger and longer scenarios than normal for our apps given both the nature of the north German terrain and changes by the designer to provide longer playing scenarios as requested by players in earlier game reviews.
Modern Campaigns is a detailed turn-based simulation of operational warfare after World War II through until present day. It includes detailed rules and combat resolution but has a simple interface that allows the player to focus on strategy and tactics. A wide variety of unit types are represented including infantry, tanks, artillery, and engineers. In addition, modern warfare is addressed in this game engine including chemical and nuclear warfare, electronic warfare (signal intelligence and jamming), and thermal sights.

While this version of Modern Campaigns will run on large-format Android phones, it is best on an Android tablet with screen size of 7 inches or more.

Another great title, notwithstanding the sometimes illogical enemy AI. Some great larger scenarios. Worth spending some time compiling a spreadsheet of units and their attributes. Now starting on the Panzer Campaigns series...

I absolutely love all of the John stiller software apps I have. There is a lot more units than in '67 and MG. One of the more easier ones in my opinion, at least in compared to market garden, which is by far the hardest one. Works great on my Ipod, Nook HD and Samsung galaxy note tab or whatever this is.
