In general, the app works. But you'll rue the day you forget your login cred. Setting your birthdate as part of recovery is a nightmare that grows more horrific the older you are. There is no direct keyboard input UI. Fail.

Easy to use. Takes less than 2 minutes to pay your bill if you have fingerprint sign-on enabled and your bank details already in the app.

Easy to use app. I don't use automatic payments because I prefer to pay semi-monthly, so there is a limit to the number of payments I can make, unfortunately. However, scheduling payments is super easy and I don't have any complaints with the app itself.

Can not login. Entering birthdate is a joke. Have to click the calender one month at a time rather than type in the date. Is this some sort of joke? Most people will have to scroll back a minimum of 18 years. Many will have to scroll back 30 or more years. And if your sign up fails you get to repeat that nonsense. Nope.

It works well to get you all the needed information concerning ones account. It is not too fancy but considering each website needs to be unique, It is a unique functioning website for the purpose. The login page works just fine and they have added security for the page during login. So far I have not had any issues with the MOHELA. They keep you up to date with messages and provide all the needed information to pay back student loans. I know with time improvement will come.

I can not log in to the app. It says that I am not registered, and that my information does not match their records. I am able to log on via a physical computer, so I think the app has been broken.

love the app. love that it's easy to use and I can keep an eye on everything.

While setting up my account and adding my bank account, I kept having to close out of the app because it would just stop. I would reopen the app and everything would be there or done. Is it normal to have to completely close the app to get it to move to the next page?

Everytime I try to log in, it "forgets" my login info. Trying to get login help, and I have to scroll through 38 years month by month. Biometrics doesn't work. No notifications on payments due

Password recovery needs to be fixed. Specifically the part when you need to enter your birthdate. You are only givin the option to finger scroll starting from the current date and you can't type in your birthday at all. What were your coders thinking? Did they think that we start paying off student loans as soon as we leave the womb. Lol. One other thing, if you touch any other part of the screen while scrolling through the calinder it closes and you have to start all over 🙃.

It won't let me sign up for auto debit (error every time) but still a good app

Annoying UI. Also payments that will be listed as pending for days will suddenly disappear and not post to account. MyFedLoan was 10x better.

MyFedLoan was much better. Mohela feels like it intentionally tries to have a lower quality Ux/Ui in hopes the user will make an error in their payments and processes. Hate this app and looking to pay off my loans asap so I can avoid it any further.

The app has several bugs that need to be worked out. Everytime I review my loan details on a specific loan it has never let's me go back into the main loan detail page that has the entire list of my loans. I have to close the app entirely and then restart it to try to get it work properly. I don't use the app a lot however, when I do, it's typically for reviewing loan details.

Convenient (although the app keeps forgetting my biometric login option, but not a big deal). It's easy to find the same information that is on the desktop site and love the portability to pay my loans on the go.

The UI/UX aspect of this app could definitely use work - some workflows are unnecessarily tedious and confusing. For most cases, functionality is fine. The fact that the app doesn't support fingerprint authentication, such a simple implemention, is sad... also seems development has stopped for this app.

Bad UI, no biometric support, does not display sent items in the secure messaging feature, cannot successfully reset password using the app, platform not updated in almost a year. Glad I refinanced elsewhere.

Very easy to use application to manage and make payments on Student Loans

Very frustrating when wanting to pay multiple loans with a certain amount, but unable to process payment because app won't scroll (or tab) to the bottom for submit payment. Might give a higher score if fixed.

Horrible app. It's impossible to manually put in your birthdate. You have to scroll for 15min to get your birth year.

I never had an issue with Mohela until recently, so I would've given 5 stars. The reason for my low rating is due to them reporting late payments to the credit bureaus for the past 3 months, but when I log into my account, it says $0.00 due. Also, I read another review that talked about the security question response being invalid after initiating biometric login and a rep said it would be looked at, but it's still not fixed 4 months later. I definitely know my maternal grandmother's name.

This latest update will not load, instead it hangs on login screen appearing to verify credentials entered. I haven't found a way to uninstall this latest update and contimue using the previous one. The website still works however this latest app update is will not function

Everytime I have to input my date of birth, instead of allowing me to type it in, it forces me to select my birthday from a calendar widget that only lets me go back a month at a time. So someone born in the early 80s has to click the left button (42*12) over 500 times before they can select their F'in DOB. Biometric scan doesn't work. It attempts, but then asks a dumb security question like paternal grandfathers first name which is impossible to get wrong; and then it says password required.

It seems like I have to constantly input my bank information each time they update the app. Also, it won't save the password for easier login, just user name.

Works great without any issues. Very easy to see the balance at your fingertips. The app also shows each loan details & when they are taken.

I called and spoke with a representative, not sure who she was but she was well educated with what I needed to know and was extremely nice.
