I have the hardest time understanding you idiots that make disfunctional apps! You cant use a split screen, and you cant go back to the screen, so how would you like me to enter that varification code? Which again in itself is not needed for security or any other excuse. The phone would be fine if it would send a text to enter number. I could at least keep the app on main screen and see the number. But it wont while I'm on wifi phone. I'm In the Country only my wifi sattelite is avalable.
I got changed my wifi name & password, ever since, the app doesn't allow me to connect the camera. I've updated all settings, but it keeps failing to connect. it's a cheap monthly subscription, but I'm not paying $5 to get nothing!
I have 4 camera's 2 quit working after a month, they cannot find wifi. The other 2 have to be reconnected to the wifi several times a when they work they are great. FYI, I bought these on clearance from a Menards home improvement store I have fast internet and rarely do I stream anything, im just saying there is no lag in my internet. l know, we get what we pay for.
Changed the rating from 1 to 5 ☆ after figuring something out. If you're having trouble with a new phone or password simply go to settings on your device, locate the momentum app, clear BOTH cache and data. Exit out and restart the app. Your device should then work with the camera. This will fix many other problems as well...🤗
Camera is constantly knocked offline. And account is consistently logged out and logged back in from a different user identified with a Chinese flag. Unreliable at best. I bought this camera to watch my front porch and when something was stolen off my front porch the camera was unexplanably offline. The process to get the camera online is overly complex. There are systems out there that work when you need them. I've wasted alot of money on months subscription for a product that has let me down.
My camera worked fine until I changed the password to my router and now it refuses to connect to the camera. I have tried everything, even pushing reset on the camera and uninstalling the app. What a waste.
Hey guys! I had the same problem with not being able to update payment for cloud service. After calling they advised me to download the DANALE app and login with your same credentials you use to get into Momentum and there you go! Problem solved! You can make payment there and the app is way better than Momentum.
Absolutely useless at night. The night vision on the camera is worthless. In low light situation even though I can see fine with my eyes the video from camera is black. I can't see anything thru camera unless it is well lit. i gave 2 stars because it works ok in daylight. some instuctions would help
Would be great to buy two cameras and be able to at least view them online. You have to have a subscription just to view. No wonder they were so cheap. Would not purchase again or recommend.
I thought it wasn't working because I got a new phone but it's not even working on any of my devices now . I'm very upset because I have 2 and I use 1 for my daughters room . 6/2019 UPDATE: it started working again thank God. I was so upset it wasnt working but now it works and i hope it stays like that . these cameras are everything !! 6/2019
Cam kept going offline and trying to reconnect it's hard, I can see the red light blinking but nothing happened very discouraging. I really need this to work can't afford a new one.
Dejavu down to 2 stars when I gave 4 or 5 last rating, it seems like every time an app going good and I rate accordingly for some reason 1 of the 3 cameras stop functioning to make me out as a liar .From scratch I reset over and over until found by the app with the other 2 perfectly working cameras but still no video ,I downloaded the Danale app since it helped me before it didnt and technically I over rated also told a lie ,why when it's good it can't stay good for more than a month.
Won't find the device, keeps saying failed try again. No support or no answer. Says it was designed for an older version of Android (I have a Samsung 20 note) but there are no updates.
Not good on respecting your data usage. I turned off all data usage for wifi and cell for this app but still it was conecting to an outside ip. DO NOT DOWNLOAD if your data usage is an issue.
Won't add camera. Can't detect. QR code scan fails. Manual add fails. Support line closed. Version 2 of the app doesn't help. Will change rating once I find solution.
Stopped allowing me to record on SD card & to have it record when movement present. Not having these 2 things makes it useless. I am even paying $5 a month for one of the cameras & can't get it to alert me to movement...
If there's a way to give zero. I would. All five cameras have stopped working. I've sent countless emails sent all information requested and no response months later. Don't waste your money.
I can no longer access my account to update my payment method for cloud service. The option is literally not presented! I can log into the app, but cant login online. 😤
The app constantly crashes or forever stays on the loading screen. They are cheap cameras so I guess you get what you pay for
I got a new wifi router. When I try to connect wired I receive the error message "device is offline" when I try to connect wifi it does not find my device. What is the fix for this?
I tried this app for my Momentum devices, It won't find the device AT ALL and the other app won't install. That "update " they sent was a piece of you know what!
Great until I needed to add new card to make payments and the app will not bring it up..has anyone else had this problem and was it able to he fixed
This app is HORRIBLE!!!! It constantly glitches, freezes, takes a really long time to load and when communicating through it, your voice goes in and out. It's the most frustrating app when trying to see what's going on in my house. Looking into replacing my cameras inside my home asap!
