MonBaby Smart Button

The button clips on easily to childs clothing and gives me peace of mind at night, especially as a new parent. The price is great and customer service is outstanding. Very pleased with the device and the app is easy to use. I only wish that the signal strength was stronger and reached further distance, that's the only complaint I have, but for the price, it's totally worth it. Update... Customer service sent me their newest monbaby device and the signal is much better. Highly recommend!

Over all good app. I just have issues with the connection. The alarm when it connects is really loud and has woken my baby up. I put it on silent but then I don't know if I lose connection during the day. So I have to turn it off and on. Then there's the issue with it closing itself in the middle of the night. It shut off one night and luckily it happened to be a night my husband was up for some reason and he noticed she wasn't breathing. Which is something that I bought these specifically for.

I love the idea, and love it when it works, but you have to leave the app open for it to work (which isn't a problem for me) and the app occasionally closes itself out in the middle of the night. This means its not monitoring anything, making it pointless. I'd love this device if the developers would fix this aspect of the app so you don't have to worry about the app closing itself out and not monitoring.

I enjoy the product but wish the temperature was more accurate. It's also super sensitive witch is good if your a super concerned parent. I had to turn off a bunch of the alerts bc it would go off to often for my liking. With newborn waking up every 2-4 hours and the alarm going off often I had to prioritize witch alerts were more important to me/us.

It is a good concept and works well for the most part. The only complaint is I need to uninstall every night and redownload for it to record the nights activity (which was my favorite part of the app) and even then sometimes it won't 😕 really hope this gets fixed.

Love the app and company. However, when using the wifi extender the app still makes you use high accuracy GPS and Bluetooth. Neither is needed for the connection with wifi and tends to drain the battery more than it needs to. Please add an option to not need these for wifi connection.

Overall a pretty great app. The only criticism I would really offer is that I think the app could be more geared towards the fact that it's opened when a sleeping baby is nearby. When you open and calibrate, it has a LOUD notification that has almost woken my baby up several times (JUST after I put him to sleep!). Also, when you connect, the button that clips onto baby starts flashing this bright light... I get worried every time that it's going to wake him up!

I love the button it works great.....the app on the other hand I have had trouble with....the motion sensor doesn't work all the time so I have to delete and download for the lines to show up properly....it works for when they stop breathing but u must calibrate it....i love that it goes off immediately when they roll over too....i didn't think it would work....now if only the app would work 100%

Definitely gives me the peace of mind when my son is sleeping. The device is usually accurate of my son's sleeping positions and respiratory rate. The app does disconnect from time to time, however there is an alert that can be set when it does happen. The company has excellent customer service!

At first the app was working great, but after a recent move it's been acting up a lot. I now have to allow it to track my location all the time for it to even pair with the device, and it's shut off around 2:40 am twice in a row. Feeling quite disappointed right now.

Doesnt read position of baby correctly even after calibrating several times, loses signal when in room 8 feet next to baby, temperature reads really high if baby is on stomach, would like to see breathing stats also. Great idea, just a few tweaks needed.

Love this device and app. I can be driving in my car with this on my child, I can leave my baby with a sitter and provide them the app to moniter the device on my child, and i love all the features especially the breathing alarm. I also love how it can be used as they grow too and tells you so many things that a mom may worry about while laying their baby down to sleep. Highly recommend.

Proximity alert does not stop going off if you get too far from the baby. It won't reconnect EVER. Even if you get right next to baby, restart the app, try to calibrate, uninstall the app, nothing works. Total junk. Worthless.

Really great and easy to use app! I love the monbaby in general. What a life saver!

App will all the sudden stop monitoring the baby. Can only run the breathing and temperature sensors, other ones are too sensitive and go off for no reason. I even have the connection sensor on and that doesn't alert you when it stops reading the baby. Cannot have your phone more than 10 ft from the monitor. Takes cr2032 batteries that last 3-4 days only. Wish I would have known all this before purchasing.

I have used this product and app for almost three years for both of our children. It works well and gives us peace of mind. I recommend this product to everyone with babies. Updates have helped improve the app and function of the device.

great product. gives me so much peace of mind, I ran into an issue with one of my buttons and customer service was great..quick to send me a replacement free of charge and follow up to make sure the new one was working correctly! thank you.

I love this device because my son has seizure so it gives me comfort and peace at mind to let me know if something's wrong such as his breathing. but I preferred this app before they did the update , it was better when you can see all the statistics on the main screen

we bought the monbaby button when we had our first baby and I could not rate it more! we don't need to wake up constantly worrying about SID. after 5 months, the back plastic clasp thing snapped coz we forced it on some thick pjs but when I emailed the company, they sent a replacement out for free :) defo recommend

Loving this device and I have never had better customer service from a company before ever! I had a problem and they shipped me a new device for free really quickly when they really didn't have to.

Absolutely useless. Alarms constantly even though it's not even connected to the button.

Other than a disconnected issue every so often, this is a great app for a great product.

It's a great app when it connects but I have so many connection issues it really is so frustrating

The monitor drains batteries fast, and mine stopped working 4 months later
