Money Manager: Expense Tracker, Free Budgeting App

Just started to use this month .The simplicity and ease of use is fantastic.Hoping for a longer relationship with this app and also hope that it is kept this simple and to the point . But I have one complain. While I changed my mobile , I was not able to get the previous expenses synchronized in my new mobile. This should have been a default option. Any resolution for this?

Nice, light and simple. No fancy tools and design solutions. Feels like a feather even on low-end devices such as the one I have. No ads or in-app purchases make it really appealing. Perhaps not the best app if you need assistance managing something more complex, but I still found it really useful in general finance management.

2/17/22 Newcomers beware, the sync problem happened to many users after a year or more in. Can't tell you how much of a pain it is to lose 3 years of self input data----------------------------------------- 1/20/22 All my data is gone. Just noticed I'm not the only one after trying to sync my data and having no luck. Loved this app prior to this. But I see nothing that I've input since the end of 2019. Really disappointed if this remains permanent. Will switch to another app if so, sadly.

Loving this app! Love the design. Super simple to use. Ad-free. Lots of icons to choose from to customise the expenses and income categories. Found a problem when I wanted to use it on another phone: I use Google to sign in and managed to, but data synchronisation is not complete. App says "Synchronisation completed" on both phones, but I can only see 3 expenses on this 2nd phone when I have a whole month's entry. Please advice. Would really love to continue using it!

Although a great app in all sorts of ways (simple, quick, convenient, easy synching across devices etc), I have just one issue with it: That the date format is only set for the US one of dd/mm - and it doesn't look as though it's possible to change it to the 'European' format of dd/mm. This would make it much better for us folks who aren't US-based!

It could be better if you can make the balance from last period brought down to the next period.. It's not about the month it's about the money you have. So make it like a new setting for people to choose on, like having the ability to have a balance brought down or not. It's a wonderful app, just one small bit of change of new settings will make it perfect~!!!

It looked promising, but I find it surprisingly lackluster for the rating it has. There's no weekly or yearly overview, as claimed in the description, that I can find, no password protection, no support for multiple accounts, no recurring transactions (the main reason I'm using a budgeting app), and no global balance; I have to set my balance as a transaction manually each month. I love a minimal app, but those are bare minimum features, imo. Keep up the good work, though!

Wow.. I still cannot believe that there are no ads for this app . Amazed by it's interface. Beautiful icon for each categories, and you can add them of you like. Not to mention, easy to use and fast performance. So far so good. I'll definitely use it. Props to developer! (Update: There should be another option to make a month calculation not based on a normal month, rather than using a date as checkpoint.. something like a per quartet a year.

2/23/19 Simple and easy to use. I recently re-installed mint and realized they were just trying sell me on a bunch of stuff. This is an awesome app. The daily reminder is really helpful too. 11/21/21 This app is still working for me.. But as other reviewers have mentioned, it does not sync anymore, even if it says it does. I occasionally export the data in case of phone failure. The export feature works well. It doesn't really have budgets, carrying balances, etc... But also no ads

The app is great! I love the fact that categories are limitless and customizable. I could share 2 improvement ideas: 1. Having the option to create 1 sub-category (like bills->electric bill), 2. Having the option to select a different timeframe for the home screen than just a certain month (there are many people, like me, that don't get their paycheck on the 1st of the month. That is why my balance up to the middle of the month will always be negative, because the income was calculated in the balance for the previous month. I would like to be able to select a timeframe like between 15th of October-15th of November)

I rate it only 4 stars because it could definitely be enhanced: 1. A yearly chart could be added; as well as quarterly. 2. Sub categories could be added (ex: food - vegetables / food - fruits) or a side note bar; just to remind of some detail. 3. While exporting the data I chose a certain app; but I changed my mind after. So I wanted to press back to the other options and there was no back. So I tried exporting again and it only brought me the same app I didn't want. So shortly exporting doesn't work well.

Easy to use. Simple and customizable. It would be nice if you can have the option to export the pie chart with the percentage and total. At the moment you can export an excel sheet of income and expenses. I can do it myself if I were to make my own on the computer. Option to download onto the phone as you can only send it via email, fb, messenger, snap etc..

So far so good, but a few other features would be nice. An option to schedule repeat expenses/incomes such as rent or salary would be great. I sometimes forget to enter the same things every month. An additional "layer" within the categories to separate things into needs vs wants would be helpful too. Still a great app though, and very well designed. I use it every day!

Great app with a wonderful interface. However it lacks the option to import data from an external file. This would be useful as the sync doesn't really work as it should. I changed phones and backed up my data to my email but when I installed the app on the new phone, a lot of random months were missing the data, seems like I have to manually input all of it again.

I absolutely love it. It has all the functionality that is necessary. The only additional thing that I wish this app had is be able view total balance, not just for one month. For example, I finished last month with few hundred dollars, this amount is not transferred to a new month. It will be easier to compare my actual balance that I have on hand with the record in the app.

This app is great, I've used it consistently for about a year now. I like the way it looks, that it's easy and that the data can we exported. As improvement, I'd like to get an accumulative of how much money I've been saving through the year (even setting goals would be cool) and to be able to get fixed expenses automatically every month instead of having to input them manually every time.

Great App, very useful, as well as practical. It will be great if we can have the option to customize our income month, like from the 26th to the 26th of each month. This makes it nice if you look back on your month's graph, then everything is together, instead of having a few income & expenses reflecting at the end of the month & the rest in the new month.

Really nice app, and it's completely free, not like those ones with ads everywhere. But it has two things that does not allow me to rate it better 1. The numbers does not have a separator, it makes it hard to distinguish 10000 from 100000 for example, it would be a lot better if the number is displayed 10.000 and 100.000 2. The balance, and this is the worst, if I come from a balance of 1.200 the next month I will start with 0. The balance should remain the same all my incomes minus my expenses

This app is awesome. It's simple and there's no frills! The UI is very smooth and a pleasure to navigate. One option I would like to try out is having multiple money accounts. So you'd have a cash balance and your debit balance and your credit balance. But it doesn't NEED that feature. The number one reason I used this was to get my money spending habits tracked and under control and this app has done a superb job at that.

Two suggestions: 1. It'd be great if you let users move their records up and down when they long press on a record. 2. When users are adding a record, you can recommend them their most frequently used categories. Otherwise, right off the bat, the app was so easy to use. Right there on the home screen itself, we have buttons to add or edit records. Good job, team!

Developer has been gone since September 2018, but the app is still perfect for my needs. Login and data sync no longer work, but the design is still simple, sleek, modern, and very usable. I really appreciate the simplicity behind the design of the app. You can make custom categories with plenty of icons to choose from. Entering new transactions is quick and easy. I recommend this app.
