Usually works good. Is a lot faster then going to the website.. Seems most of the glitches have worked themselves out with the last update. The only issue I have now is that occasionally when I'm trying to send.. I keep getting "unknown error has occured, please try again later. It may have to do with the connection.. I notice it does it more often when I have less than full bars of signal strength.

App is not reliable. You will be in the middle of something and then it suddenly signs you out. Also overall customer service for MoneyGram is not the best. Too many issues with no clear solutions. Even when you do everything correctly with right receiver info and ID they would still find a way to deny. Oh btw they don't refund you the fees even if it's their error.

Errors kept popping up. It should be more explanatory. This is the 2nd time I've used it. I'm sending money to the Ukraine and you said it's no fee but yet they're charging me a fee. Some of the boxes on the app take you nowhere. When you put your country in and the receiver country there's nothing to push except the little red arrow and that clears everything out. You should have step-by-step instructions somewhere for morons like myself who can't figure out your app. I finally got it figured

Simple as well as snappy. I must also say that i was blown away by the display as well as the easy access to what, none other, could only ...in fact WOULD only describe as being extremely attentive, and more so, displaying what one would easily recognize as OBVIOUSLY Exceptional assistance, very much appreciated.

Tried it reluctantly for the first time in 2021, was just like going to the store to do the transaction. Pick up was the same process for the reciever. App does have a few hiccups every now and then.

Worst customer service ever. As much as I loved how easy it was to send money, I have not been able to send anything for a month because I keep getting an error message that my last name on my profile and rewards account doesn't match. 4 phone calls later ( 2 on 5th of April, 1 on the 7th, and 1 on 12th), emailing them on the website, live chat on the app, emailing mgoescalations and it still hasn't been fixed.

The app has become very frustrating to use. I try to send a certain amount and the application changes the amount without my consent. When a person downloads an app they know how much they are sending and who they are sending it to. Not everyone in Jamaica is a scammer and I am not easily scammed. I know all the scamming tricks because I have been reading the Consumers Report magazines for years now and that magazine tell you all the scamming tricks.

I complained because they charged my account twice when one was canceled a day before the app transactions. I asked why they charged twice and for that they deleted my account. I never had problems with western union. If you have problems with moneygram they have you send an email. You don't get to talk to a human being. The return email asked me to speak to my bank. My bank says it's their fault and opened a case. I never heard anything more from moneygram only a deleted account.

I send my money through the new "debit to debit" option. its super quick. The only hickups I've ran into was all on my end or receiver changing their card without updating me. But MoneyGram was there for me every step of the way through every problem. GREAT SERVICE!!!!!

I don't have much to say negative, I am very satisfied and happy sending money through moneygram my money is safe and received promptly. If there is an issue on the other end it always get corrected with no confusion. I have been using moneygram for 20+ I always recommend to other people. It is more convenient and safe for me. Love ❤️ it.

When sending money to a bank account in the Philippines the is less then what I want. For instance I want to send 1000php instead of rounding down to 999.76 why can't you round up. The other issue is why do I have to keep entering the receivers bank info. Can't you store it for future use? Other then that it works great and fast to send. Can be faster if issues above can be resolved.

Terrible. Took a while to register, thereafter, I tried to send money and for two days kept giving an error message. Finally, it was confirmed that the system/website has a problem. Could not move forward since then.

It's very Difficult to use the app. Entering $$ amount always incorrect also it doesn't drop down to New card when added for payment 🙄. I have to 1 transaction 5 or 6xs before getting it. It could take me up to a day to get it right.

First, I can't even send your e-card feature after a transaction because the app times out too quick. You need to prolong the time a user use on the app. We are not all fast you know. Second, when I logged back in to the app to see the transaction I just sent, there is no place to inform the recipient that the money was sent. You need to put a share button on the transaction page. Not all people know how to screenshot or check their text. And writing down trans. number not a good option.

I've been using MoneyGram for years with no problems until last Monday I got error message when I was trying to log in to my account saying that my email and password were not correct. And that when I tried to reset my password it tell me that I don't have an account as my email doesn't exist. I got ahold of an agent and been told that my account has been permanently closed. They don't know why it was closed but I wount be able to reopen or create a new one. So mad 😠 😡

DO NOT DOWNLOAD. If I could give a 0 I would. This app has one use and that's to send and receive money it can't even do that. So it got to collect my data and sell it to make a profit off of me and can't even send 1 single payment absolutely garbage app and no support. The app is so trash it doesn't even know what it's own errors are that occur. DO NOT DOWNLOAD

I used to use Transferwise, but for the past three months, MoneyGram has been $0 fees so have been taking advantage of whatever promotional period is going on with my account. Fast, reasonable and great rates. Thank you!

The promotions are not working and just a lie to invite customers to use and refer a friend. Plus there customer service agents are not helpful. Rates are good but there are some apps too that has a good rate but with good service.

Very easy app, but today was a nightmare. I had to drop the app and reload (horrible) did not download easily. Then my account was expired and when I went to add it again, it was not allowing me to pull money from the account.

I can't send money through the app. I have to use the website i troubleshoot it and nothing: errors came out all the way. Unknown errors,exceptions and server related issues. Is deceptive in a world class app this performance and nobody in the company seems to take care of that.

This Application keeps on acting up. Every time I logged in to use the app it either shuts down, freeze or showing some form of error message. These issues needs to be fixed.

Don't use this service in turkey all their partners never give you the full amount they mislead the receiver that he don't recieve the full amount because there is some fees must pay, i know they lies because i tried before 4 times and in every time tell you a story so i advice to not use this service in turkey, i tried to contact the support for help but never helped, so this is the worst customer service ever see.
