Appalling customer service - give you the runaround when they find out you want to discontinue service. Had me on hold for 45minutes on my third callback attempt, which eventually got dropped because "our offices are now closed". Apparently the information on their website about just sending an email form to fill out is totally false and deceptive. The one person told me they had to get an account manager even though I was no longer on contract and up to date on my monthly payment. Horrible!
3 times l have called for a person to come out. 3 times company tried over the phone, problem not fixed. If a service person cant come out l will cancel my service. Not staying on line with phone. Can the range of the doorbell be adjusted? I am picking up people across the street. I am in the city, not the suberbs.
Absolutely worthless! One day, the app is communicating with my doorbell, the next it is telling me that I am at my 90% limit so I delete the saved images. Then it quits working! I will not be renewing my contract with this company.
Our camera has been offline for the past 2 months. We have had burglars taking things our front yard and backyard but with no camera there is no evidence!! We have been with this company for 10 years throughout it's upgrades and surprisingly amazing rates but the professionalism of the company is starting to slack. We hope we can get our camera back online before something else ends up missing!!
Our Brinks system hasn't worked right since the day it was installed. We called the very next day because the sensors and keypad didn't work properly and we couldn't get anyone to come back for 3 weeks! After they left the second time it still didn't work properly. When we asked to speak to a manager both times, we were told there was no manager to talk to. They still have not resolved our issues and we are stuck in a 3 year contract with them. I'd type more, but this app stops me.
I have used this application for circa three (3) years. Excellent installation , wired functionality, cameras are stratically placed. Server contains 30 days of data. WAP installed to obtain better wireless access. The doorbell is problematic. Rings okay, but the visual camera fails to function and can't talk to person at the door.
Good UI with solid security and diverse functionality for multiple types of devices. This could be better if flood and smoke detection data was accessible. Also, a private API to personal cloud storage would be nice, to play with thermostat data over several months.
This app is not at all like the app I had before for my security system. The camera only records so many a month, then it won't record any more till the next month. The camera is always saying disconnected. Need to upgrade or something. Do not like at all. Plus I don't like that you can't pay your bill on the app you need to go to another link.
Service is good. But good luck trying to disconnect. I bought a new house and wanted to disconnect my service like I would any other utility. But oh no...you have to wait on hold for hours to reach a "account manager" and them telling you to wait to "download the disconnect process?" As I said, the app and the service is fine. But once they have your payment info....good luck getting your account closed. I would look at ADT or someone else for security.
Functionality is very limited. Notifications can't be cleared. Certain features are not turned on and and cannot be turned on by the user, but you may spend hours before realizing this. You cannot manage the time delay before the alarm sounds when disarming.
The app is missing camera zone options. You have to log-on to the web to access these features. You can't reset the sensitivity for motion detection triggers and the app REFUSES to save any changes you make. It is worthless.
Horrible. Constantly having issues. Doesn't send notifications or record. And when it does, it's every 10 minutes! Biggest mistake ever signing up with these idiots.
Brinks Home Security is the worst company I've ever had to deal with. I've tried 4 times to get help getting into my portal to set up auto pay. Each time I call, I'm on hold for at least 1 hr. And when I finally talk to someone, I can't understand them. Then they either put me on hold again because they can't answer my question or they transfer me to another agent. I still haven't got my issue resolved. Apparently, there are NO supervisors, and the portal to set up auto pay isn't working.
The app along with the service is trash. I've had 2 false alarms within 24 hrs of having the system installed. I don't get any notifications to my phone. I'm about over Brinks already.
Customer service is horrible!! They are closed on the weekends and chat isn't available as well on the weekend! I was trying to update my payment info online but it doesn't allow you. I'm done with this company! I told the rep that I want to cancel their service so she transferred me...it's been over a f@$%ing hour and I'm still on hold!!!! Never had this issue when it was Live Watch. Brinks...do better!!!
This app is horrible. I would like to see anyone add a user without spending 2 hours installing, uninstalling, reinstalling adozen times... this is absolutely ridiculous which explains why the app gets such lousy reviews. I can't believe your CEO allows this to go on... the only good thing is that once you finally get it to work, it actually does work but every time I have to add a user I am tempted to cancel your service... Get your act together people.
VERY SLOW- takes forever to pull up videos and live views from cameras. Update: there is no new app update and issue is still present. I think our contract is up and we should get different security now. Cameras were always very blurry.
FIX THIS APP!!!! What is the since in having a app that does not turn on and off you Alarm System. Makes no since at all. I have to use the system box itself to go in and out of my house. When I use my app, it says cannot disconnect.. Very frustrating. If, I needed to really use my app and turn on if something was to happen which probably never will because I live way out in the country, but it would be nice to know that I can push the buttons on my phone and arm it, if I needed to.
Not a user friendly app (referring to add devices) or system backed by a unused friendly customer service. (Service)Just have to wait for contract date to end service. From the word go I've had issues with cameras connectivity and long delay in reporting events but csr (customer service representatives) just blames bad wifi connection, however the internet provider indicates I have the best connection possible. I would remain with this service only if these issues were corrected.
