Monific - Budget and Expense Planner

21-Nov-2021. Quite good app for personal budget management. The only thing I don't like is that creating a custom transaction category requires to go in settings, and even then after a user creates a new category, the app returns to the main page of the settings menu, and only after that it's possible to again tap on categories button and create the next category. Everything else is fine. Upd: 5-Apr-22, changing the rating to 2, as the bugs are still not fixed + wrong entries cannot be undone.

This started out as a great app to keep track of my spending. The only issue is once it kicks over into the next month. Any savings or left over money that you have logged is still available to see from the stats section but when you go to log purchases in the categories section, the money hasn't followed. So you end up going into the negative. If you try to add what ever is left over in your account it classes it as extra income and adds it to what you already have.

Its funny that you make a money budget planner but lacks the Number 1 basic that should be the included in the app and its called "Currency Options" this app only have 6 currency options. If you are releasing this app worldwide then i think the option for currency should also be dedicated worldwide not just only 6 currency options.

I think this is a great app, however I would like to see a few additional features. You have the option to create sub categories but you can't sort them in the stats page. It would be nice to see the totals for various sub categories. Also, I don't think there is any in-app help files or support so I think that would be a good addition. Over all a good app and I would recommend it to others.

Great, really simple to use budgeting application. Useful in preserving my regular monthly financial resources in check. It would absolutely be exceptional to in addition include routine to this application.

LOVE this app! Love that it's simple, yet you can use it to cover all your budgeting needs. My only two complaints would be: 1. Sorting budgeting categories tend to randomize, and don't stay exactly where you need them to (not so fun when you're OCD like I am), and 2. It doesn't give you a total overview of budget vs spent, or anticipated income vs actual, which would be helpful when you're halfway through the month re-analyzing your budget.

It was easy to get started. I needed something that didn't require linking my bank, as I wanted to be able to just add my own entries and expenses. Sometimes it's a bit slow, but maybe that's just my phone. It has all features that I need.

At first, it was perfect. I liked the features and all, so I decided to use it always, after choosing it among other apps that I tried before. However, after updating it, it always crashes. So basically all the information that I have entered are all gone. I tried reinstalling it, but still, it became impossible to use because, upon clicking the icon, it still crashes. I can't open it anymore.

I am managing my expenses better, and saving more, because of this app. Being able to track daily, weekly, as well as monthly expenses is great for budgeting, and recording all of those important expenses that are easy to forget. I rarely ever review an app but this one deserves to be praised. Its exactly what I was looking for in a money management app.

I have tried so many budget apps, but keep coming back to Monific. It's the only app that clearly shows me how much money I have spent for each category. It helps me calculate how much I'm spending, and how much budget is remaining.

I tried many other budgeting apps, and stopped at Monific, since it's free, and has most of the features the paid apps have. It allows me to modify, reorder and customize categories (and subcategories) however I like, and analyse my habits at the end of the month. It also allows me to set budget for individual category, something other apps don't have. Good free app.

This is simple and reliable. Best app so far to control my spending, and I've tried many. I use it to track multiple budgets. I can always see, how much money is coming in and out.

2021-01J-02nd - There's a good deal of good spoiled by a couple of bad, which render it unusable for me. The word I'd have to use is 'faffy', it takes too long to do what you're trying to achieve.

The app is good. The only thing it is missing (and would even make me pay for it) is the ability to have shared expenses / budgets. It would be amazing to share the budgets / expenses / incomes with my family. So basically like having 2 accounts - one personal, one shared.

Like this app, it's great for anyone who wants to regain control of their spending, or just needs a convenient tool to track their finances. Only missing one feature - account to account transfer, please please add it!

The app is very good. Compared to other apps, it's easiest to use and is very intuitive. This matters to me, as I use it every day. Only request I have, is to please have the automatic backup option, so in case my phone is lost or something, so my data stays safe.

It was working great after one month . I could not enter expense income nothing and it real light each category . Every time I hit for a entry it Nevers shows . I uninstalled 4 times . Looks nothing like it did .shame I really liked it . Was perfect but I guess I got 1 month . Don't use

Monific changed the way how I see my finances, as it puts all my activity in perspective, and allow me to see exactly how much I spent for each category, and stay below my budget. I tried many other apps and this is the best one i like, because it has the features I need, and it is free

Good app, but missing a feature - sharing finances / budgets with a friend. For example, if me and my friends go on a trip, the app should let us track and split our expenses.

Been using Monific for my budgeting for about a year, and am happy with it. It has changed how I see my finances, helped me stay on top of my spending. This last update finally added the overall budget option, it is very useful.

This app is a game changer. I needed a way to be more financially organized, and this app has made it so easy for me to do just that! I input my expenses and income, and I clearly see my financial picture.

Very good app. It's multi currency. You can back up data or export file. Has pie chart. But expenses categories in the pie chart do not display at all. Categories can't be modified This limits its use

I never rate apps, but i really like this one. I have tried so so so many other budgeting apps, and they weren't as easy to use as this one. the visual interface was easy for me to understand

When I try to add monthly reoccurring to my items the app crashes and erases everything. Please please fix this app it is the only one I love out of all the million out there.. this is a 5 star app. I only gave 1 for now to get attention of developers so they can fox it asap .. Pleeeease fix it, I love this app. I will come back and change to 5 stars.

Buggy, won't let me create a recurring expense. It shows the options to change the date, repeat, and reminder - but none of them work!

I put 4 star rating earlier and now, few months later, iI must say this app is great and probably the best one of all the other apps I tried. I use it every day. It has the home screen widget, something other apps don't have. Really helped me get my expenses under control.

Great app. Very useful. Would be even better if it could sync information between my other devices. Still, it is still the best budget app that I have come across.

I like how I'm in control of the data and I have the choice to keep all my private data on the device. I find the app super smooth. I open it every time I spent money.

Too many other budget apps are difficult to use and confusing. This is just right. Please add feature to start month on a custom day though. Thanks

It is easy, maybe graphical not bad, but, it IT IS TERRIBLE, because after you filled data, apps removed many of them automatically, and your all efforts are trash... 😡👎👎👎 Don't download....
