The best learning app for children that we have used. A good range of different activities that use different input mechanisms, and blend letter names and sounds, in a way that works really well for my 3y olds. Try THUP Monkey Math School Sunshine too, it's also better than any other we've found for math!
Games are good but they are so repetitive that kids get bored and don't benefit from the games. There is an extreme lack of variety and imagination that went in this. It could have been much better if just a few more learning modules were added.
My kids love this app even my 3year olds gets in on the action. Definitely makes learning fun especially for kids that have trouble concentrating.
My grandson who is 6yrs old and autistic loves this app. Lots of giggles and smiles while playing. For sure worth purchasing!!!
Broken on Galaxy S8 today, image partially off the screen on the left, not registering touch at the right point. Very frustrating.
Used to love this game and now it wont even load on my note 5. Everytime my daughter tries to play it, it acts as if it will load and just be a black screen. Ive tried to force stop, cleared data, and uninstalled as well nothing. I paid for the game so i would like for it to work for my 3 year old.
It should have phonetically sounded spelling for all words instead of using capital letters. It's much easier for children to learn this way. Also, being able to choose the game you want to play as opposed to getting what you're given would be good.
Stopped working after 10 minutes on galaxy tab4. Looked like a good game but we will never know
I just now paid for and dwnloaded this app. It is installed, however it does not go any farther than the 'loading' page when I attempted to open it. Was looking forward to sharing it with my 4 yr old granddaughter. Very dissatisfied, with so many wonderful reviews, I was expecting a much experience.
Kids love it but each time I buy from THUP, I have to wait to dl on multiple devices as it will say I haven't bought it... once installed, it's good.
I love every single monkey preschool game! My 3 has been playing them since she was 1.
Great for beginning readers, this app compliments the work my little one is doing to learn to read. I love how it scaffolds to introduce harder or easier levels depending on how your child performs.
My 3 year picked this & was really excited to play it....never got past the loading part & waited 3 hours

Of all the educational apps I have, my 5 yr old daughter loves this the most. I don't know why, but this entertains her for the longest, and keeps her the most engaged. I will say though, that more content would make it even better. Bring on an update that adds new games/features.
I have this on my ipad and my kids love it, but having forked out to put it on my phone I am very disappointed that it won't even load. I have tried reinstalling several times with no love :(
My 2 yr old plays and lovessss this game.. its hard for a 2 yr old, but she can do all of it by herself except for the rhyming line game.. however..for the last month I havent been able to use it. We paid, we played..and now it has stopped working! Please help! My daughter lovesss and misses this game
Like all of the monkey apps it is engaging for the kids... I can only say 3 stars because when there are letter sounds there are 'uhs' after them, which is not good educationally. Some word sounds, such as using "am" and 'an' and then saying each sound seperately are also not appropriate. When there is spelling I would love to hear letter sounds not letter names as the kids touch each letter and then it reads it back to you. It would be nice if you could increase and decrease the speed of the sight word and letter matching as the words fly by. The word rhyming (make a path) is visually overwhelming. It also goes to the loading screen too often (monkey stone with light that goes around it). Overall it is fun for my kids, but I dont think it is as good as the other mokey apps.
THUP games are really well designed and kid friendly games. No pop-up, simple menu, no in game upgrades or buys. They are educational and fun. As a parent I highly recommended any of their games
Love all of the monkey games by Thup! Totally worth the money to buy all 5 of them. My 2 yr old and 3 yr old love them!
Great, great, great app! Worth the two dollars. Do yourself a favor and get every one of the THUP apps with monkey. It's four of them and they make learning so fun. My two year old plays all of them. Thanks!
My niece started off with Preschool lunchbox. Now that she is starting to learn her letters and words, I got Word School, and she loves it. So I also purchased Monkey Math. Thanks for a great app!

A Worthwhile investment. Just downloaded it for my son who is 4 years old . I love the reward system very unique . And it gets progressively harder. But helps the child adjust and learn . And gives hints after child has difficulty. But not to soon let's the trail and error aspect help learning. My son loves the music. Educational and fun . I like how it has no pointless games. Unlike many other apps
